"It's Three Dog! Ayy!"
Always Three Dog for me. Love the music and what he says himself. Installed GNR mod, so now he has 120 songs!

I always noticed that when I open the console, I have to write a lot or press tab a couple of times to see what ive written. So, basically the console is too offscreen. My screen and game resolution is 1280 x 1024. Anyone else has this problem? How to fix it? Windows 7 by the way, if that helps.

A couple of mods I saw loooong time ago. One was better looking distant lands, or something. That isn't a name of it, just what it does. Second, a mod that makes facial textures high res. Oh, almost forgot, I remembered better looking eye mod or something? It makes eyes look better, nothing more.

I've just looked at Oblivion graphics extender mod, because my bro is buying a new video card very soon, probably before the end of this week. Anyway, I haven't even opened Oblivion since 2 years ago... I just got to say wow. Wow, how much the graphics are extended, and that screenshot of parallax + occlusion mapping on cobblestone. What is that? I mean, is that even possible? I didn't even think so, but it looks like I can soon look at that in game next week.
So, yeah, I was wondering if all effects could be applied to Skyrim with Skyrim's graphics extender? What do you think, I mean it's a new engine with more capabilities. In the videos you could have even seen clouds around mountaintops moving very realistically. What else do you think might be possible?

Oh yes! Thank you! As soon as I opened I started reading alchemy. I heard that Apple and Orange potions won't be as strong as a, say, Nirnroot and (insert some rare ingredient here) potion. I'm glad at the perks they gave Alchemy.

What Corakus said.
Also, even though the size of the world is the same as Oblivion's, in Skyrim there are no boring bodies of water, like those in Oblivion. We have more land to explore and more content instead of water. Skyrim has a lot of rivers, though. Exploration in Skyrim is also more 3-dimensional. What I mean is, we will spend more time changing altitude, e.g. climbing mountains.

Just wanted to say thanks!
Waking up in the morning and seeing a new screen of a Khajiit with a double flamethrower spell just made my day!
EDIT:
Also, here's a screenshot of a Daedric sword. Looks absolutely gorgeous!
Wow, when I played as a mage in Oblivion it was either Khajiit or a Breton. I'm going with Khajiit in Skyrim!
That daedric sword looks awesome, too!

I'd love health regeneration to be very slow, say, 1 health point per 3-5 seconds or so? So if you're taking a stroll through the Riverwood, you would at least regenerate 20 health.

OMG you can see lockpicking on it! Wow, it's the same as FO3's. Have a look to the right. http://i54.tinypic.com/2yxn05k.jpg

I voted I will leave them alone, but if a mod for killing them comes out, which will, I will get it after a couple of playthroughs. Not because I want to kill them, but because it will add to the immersion. Or atleast make them attackable, but essential, so they would just get knocked unconscious. Right now, I have a feeling that kids will be like FO3's ones. Fully immortal and unnatackable.

Atleast it's a perk. I'm happy I wouldn't have to use it if I don't want to. I hate the saying "If you don't like it, don't use it." but I have to agree here. I wouldn't use that like I didn't use the Bloody Mess.

Internal organ decapitation? What is that?
Oh and if it's in the game, I can't wait to get it modded out. I found dismemberment of Fallout 3 too unrealistic and I prefer the game to be more friendly. I usually have fun with console in Oblivion/Fallout 3, beside actually playing it.
-
Is this good or bad for you, does it change anything? Do you expect other parts to be dismembered, too? What effect will it have on you/game experience?
Also, it has a lot of alcohol effects, which is better than "damage intelligence" of Oblivion, so yay for that!

Yes.
When I played through Oblivion's main quest I thought "This is it. The Empire is saved. Something else must be done later on." Then comes Skyrim. 200 years later after I saved the Empire.

I will slash through environment with a sword in my right. With my left mouse button.
I will torch the environment with a flamethrower spell in my left. With my right mouse button.

That was just so the people won't see Todd getting over encumbered in the demos. Oh and his health was 999/999. I'm sure it will range from about 80 to 120 when you begin.
-
In nearly 4k hrs of play across three games(MW,OB and FO3) I have yet to complete the main quest in any of the them.
Holy sheet. Around 167 days, and you still haven't completed the story? Wow.
For myself, I will complete the story as my first character. I'm not as excited about the storyline or dragons, as I am for what Elder Scrolls does best, open world. I want to go and explore, occasionally progressing on the main quest.

Here's a bit of off screen gameplay, includes swimming animations:
Lol at the end "We do not let you film this." "Orly?"
-
Wow that's great! You should post it somewhere and hope it will get seen. You might as well send it to Skyrim blogs, etc.
-
They get DLC a month earlier? Meh. I'll keep playing Vanilla Skyrim and wait. I really don't care that much if they get them earlier. They will rage when they look at all the mods we have anyway.

Thanks for clearing that up. I never used Z Brush and that's what I saw in the video, and I thought that was the case.
-
An imperial in light armor with a spell and a sword. The imperial bit might change... I will possibly be playing Khajiit or High Elf instead.
-
Omg... this is a record... 3 double posts in a row. What the... :wallbash:

You know, they could be from a modeling program.
That would explain the tiles on faces and the black background, also the cheap looking hair.
Ohh that's right... The background of Z Brush is black, isn't it... I've been watching some Youtube video about Z Brush some time ago, and the blocks also appeared on the video.
The hair looks better in-game, yes. But still it's stationary like in Oblivion, I guess?
The seams... there are no seams technically. As I said it's just the texture of the body is lower resolution than that of the face and neck.

Multiplayer
in Skyrim LE

To quote Oblivion's persuasion NPC dialogue - "Not now, not later, not ever."
Multiplayer will kill Bethesda's Elder Scrolls. The day multiplayer comes is the day I'm not getting an Elder Scrolls game.
