  1. As there currently isn't an API, what are the policies concerning having a program pinging a download page, only grabbing the HTML to perform lookup, and querying the data using an XML library? Allowing BOSS to be able to query the version of a specific mod upstream programmatically would be useful as the manual version checks in the master list could then be removed, improving the maintenance of it. With the issues that NMM caused in the past, I didn't want to start planning too much without discussing it first (it's still a good ways out, still only in the planning stages for the next iteration of BOSS).
  2. Does Nexus have a public API that can be used to, say, query file pages for various bits of information, such as the author(s) or version number?
  3. Alright, thanks for the information.
  4. Sure thing. Sea of Ghosts http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1677559 And the Realms of the Daedra http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=15308 there are obviously more but those are the two most noteworthy, IMO. Went to add them today and what do you know: they're already on the list. :D Thanks, I'll check out the rest of his mods. Do you happen to know if he hosts them on other sites along with the Workshop? I'd just like to add as many mirrors for the various entries as I can.
  5. Thanks. I'll get them added as soon as I can.
  6. I apologize for the late response. Can you provide some links for those?
  7. TOQL has now been expanded to support Skyrim as well: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1536888-the-skyrim-quest-list/
  8. Thread is now up: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1536888-the-skyrim-quest-list/
  9. The Oblivion Quest list has now expanded to Skyrim! It is a list of "good" quest mods, as recommended by the community. The quest mods are categorized based on their size and each category has its own list. Using a template and a wiki, anyone can easily contribute. All they need to do is sign up. The main wiki for the lists is here: http://wiki.theassimilationlab.com/QuestList/The_Quest_Lists Originally, it was just Oblivion that was hosted and, at the time, it was just the TOQL wiki. With the expansion, a bit of reorganization was done to better support multiple games. The contents are an ever going work in progress as quest mod recommendations change all the time, as do the mods themselves. At the moment, the Skyrim list is still being put together but that doesn't mean you can't help. Feel free to keep recommending mods, making suggestions for the wiki itself, or simply sign up and start contributing.
  10. TOQL has a new domain! The new URL is here: http://wiki.theassimilationlab.com/QuestList/The_Quest_Lists
  11. Just a heads up: the wiki is changing domains on TAL so it's going to be offline for a couple of days. Hopefully it won't be for too long.
  12. It looks like PES is having issues on the file hosting area while their main page loads fine. I saw something about the files being transferred over to MMH, how does that affect the URL scheme and how many have been transferred? I'm going to need to start replacing the URLs it looks like. If they do come back, at least I'll have it ready for when they do pull the plug.
  13. Great, thanks. I'll have to update the links when I get the chance. Thanks again.
  14. All URLs have now been updated to the new URL scheme. I also checked for dead links. Fortunately, only one of them was dead. "Artefacts of the Ancestors TESNexus - No voiceacting .esp version" is dead. It used to be http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/7081 Has it been merged into the main file or was it taken down? In the latter case, is there an updated link that is allowed to be used?
  15. I've gone through and added tags to a lot of the mods that were missing tags. I didn't do anything with the ones that already had tags, so those still need to be checked and there are still some mods that are missing tags. However, this should at least help with filling in some of the missing information.
