I mod it more than I play it, but yeah. Ban *insert username* for *insert non-sensical reason*. Ban self for laziness.
-
Ban pagan for posting before my edit, which I think sounded funnier. By the way, I did look, and yes, Quirkyblonde's house mod looks great.
-
Ban everyone with a consonant in front of their name (Except Z). There, that's fair isn't it?
-
Ban everyone who has a vowel at their front of their name. Because if there were more of you I could have come up with something more clever.

3 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uvPXTDKwWM The voice actor for Smaug is just awesome, isn't he?

It looks like it's supported in the White skin, though it mangles the navigation a bit. I've made this post from my mobile and the text editor dislikes carriage returns. The text keeps jumping up a line.

How do you get to the regular static login then? I can't find a link, only the popup version. Cross-browser support is a pain, but it's not that hard (unless you're optimizing for IE). Javascript, HTML, and CSS better be supported if you try and call something a browser. If you need a different website for each browser, quite simply, you're doing a bad job. The current site doesn't need three versions. And it renders fairly well, apparently, on all of our different mobiles. I don't mean implementing every feature though. That would just be unnecessary. Making and reading posts, primarily. If you view Facebook, Google, or Twitter on your phone you can easily see the huge difference between using a mobile website and a standard one. Those work well across most browsers and don't have additional sites for each browser.

Ah, I see. Yes, I can do that too. But I'm talking about something optimized for mobiles, where you don't have to zoom or scroll, at least not very much. I've used the site from my phone before, but it's not the easiest thing to get around in when you're not on a computer. For instance, I can login but the little popup box the login control is in doesn't always render in a place I can easily get at it. That's a feature that's really cool on a computer, but just doesn't work well on a mobile. There's some huge differences in UI design for a mobile and UI design for a standard website. Also, sorry about your IPhone. :(

There is? What does it look like? Is the URL something else that www.thenexusforums.com? When I come to the site it displays the same as when I go to it on my computer... I mean something more like this: http://player.vimeo.com/video/6353874?color=c9ff23

While the concept of a mobile website for the actual Nexus file share does not make much sense since you have to install the mods on your computer, the concept of a mobile version of the forums and, perhaps image share and the articles section, makes a lot of sense to me. I'm a web developer for my company and we've been looking into mobile development, and that started me thinking about how one of my favorite sites would work as a mobile site (that and.. I got a BlackBerry a few days ago ). The forums, visually at least, are grouped by categories, which I think would be really easily adapted to a mobile UI. There is the excellent free JQuery plugin for mobile development for supporting touch capabilities: JQTouch There's also an excellent free IPhone emulator (for Windows) which is much more practical for testing: MobiOne I know this would be a large undertaking, but I think it would a really neat feature of the site.

A miracle indeed. A special round of applause too for the engineer(s) who designed that emergency bunker that saved them.

Yes, a truly remarkable accomplishment all around. For those who haven't been keeping up on it: News Link So nice to see such a story end so happily.

I have a new request. I need a chair for Sotha Sil. Having him walk around is an interesting thought, but I have a new place for the player to speak with him, and it would be preferable for him to be stationary. I would like the chair to be similar to H.G. Wells' Time Machine: I don't care about the implementation, just the idea of a clockwork sort of globe that you can sit in. It would be awesome if it were animated (spinning bits and all that) but I'd be happy with anything. Will have some pictures of progress from my side soon.

No, no... I win! :teehee:

You're the second person to catch me peeking at their profile, and the second to call me out on it! Ban self, for my :ninja: powers are weak. ;D
-
Ban Pronam since I haven't seen him for some time. Hi! :)
-
Never mind. Sly beat me to it. Good luck with your mod!
-
No. You have to write a script to add the Topic to the PLAYER, not the NPC. This is an example: addtopic MyNewTopic
-
What? I have to paint the WHOLE ROAD, you can't expect me to stop and kick a branch a few inches out of the way. Oh, and I win.
-
To clarify a bit more. You should only edit dialogue in the Quest Editor screen, nowhere else.
-
<snip> Oops, not that wasn't it! :pinch: Sorry.
-
Except for the fact that I am now winning! So... I win!
-
You go to a restaurant and fall asleep, and the only reason you wake up is because you fell asleep on your fork. :pinch: You know your mod is buggy when...
-
I might be willing to voice act the Orc for you. But, in short, I want to see the script first. :turned: Please PM me. EDIT: Ah, forgot the voice samples. These are from other projects. Sample 1 - Deceiving a stupid Guard Sample 2 - Sheogorath at Jyggalag's Shrine Sample 3 - Reenum the Argonian The following have some electronic tweaking: Sample 4 - Obediah Marsh at Hackdirt Sample 5 - Molag Bal's Quest I also have better recording equipment now.

You actually do know a LITTLE (very little) of the lore about the Night Mother if you read the in-game books. This one in particular We do not know, however, whether or not the Night Mother has always what she is now. There are many possibilities. As for Sithis, however. He does exist, in a sense. Sithis is the Void, meant to be both the representation of outer space, the black between the stars so to speak, and an the unstoppable force of change. The inevitability that what was once empty will return to that emptiness. (According to the DB who admit they really don't understand or care.) Sithis is not really a being so much (not that Bethesda couldn't pull that one out of nowhere if they wanted) but a force. But, yes, I was expecting to meet her in person. I kind of wish she wasn't a ghost, because that would fit in with the existing lore better, but then again, this is Oblivion, not Morrowind.
