The problem is I have no idea what mod it is from. I have a bunch of mods so not sure how to find out what mod it is from.

Has anyone done this quest? I followed the white ghost horse and cleaned out the crypt. I found the skeleton of the horse and now it is standing outside the entrance. If I try to ride it, it says I am stealing the horse. I have been through the stupid crypt a dozen times and my quest log still says I need to explore it. I cannot get rid of it and not sure what the problem is. Any suggestions?

For me, I have had to watch a lot of the mods because they have totally FUBAR'd my game and I had to start a whole new game after deleting the bad mod. Once I even had to completely delete the game from my computer and download it again and start over. Now if a mod requires a bunch of other mods to run, I do not use it. I only use the "Plug and Play" mods and even some of them mess up my game because of compatibility. I use Vortex and hat helps but there are still a lot that of mods that are questionable. At 72 years old, I can totally mess up a computer just by hitting the power button, so I need a Mods for Dummies kind of mod to put in my game. Even the mods that do work, will occasionally have things in them that do not work. As an example, I have the mod that teleports Serana to you. Great idea since she wanders, but the damn thing won't work for some reason. It is there just doesn't do anything. So watch what you download and I suggest instead of downloading a bunch of mods and installing them, you do them one aat a time and then see if the game will start and run.

Using a desktop computer. I remember back a few games ago, I did try something like that and ended up with a duplicate character running around. I used the "player.placeatme XXX" code. It created a follower but without all the armor and other things I had given her as a follower. She was basically a new character. I am hesitant putting things in my exe files since I tried that once and totally FUBAR'd the game and had to delete it all and redownload the game. How do you open notepad when the game is running? My game takes up the whole screen.

I am having a heck of a time keeping my followers with my PC. They keep getting stuck or lost or just stand there and I have to go back and try and find them. It happened with Serana, yes there is a "Teleport Serana to me" Mod but I cannot get it to work and I got tired of having to find her. The same with the Teleport to Serana Mod, it doesn't work. At least there is a Serana Tracker in the Quest log so I can find her when she wanders. I finally got tired of her and sent her packing. Now having the same problem with Lydia. If I jump off a high place in a cave (usually the only way to get out) or climb down a mountain, she will get stuck and I have to go find her. I need a mod that will teleport her to my character.

Oops... See I told you that I knew nothing about computers. My 71 year old brain tends to get things mixed up. . What i meant was when you do a search for SKSE64 on Nexus it shows it but nothing comes up and you have to go to some other website where you have to download the program and then copy and paste it into your game. There are launchers and all sorts of things on Nexus that you can download but I have no idea which ones work and which ones do not.

If Vortec is part of Nexus, why does Vortex load and use the SKSE64 with no problems and Nexus doesn? With Nexus you have to copy and paste the SKSE64 into the game. With Vortex all you have to do is load the SKSE64 just like another mod and Vortex does it all of you and it works. I know just enough about computers to really FUBAR them up just by turning them on, so copying and pasting things into programs is NOT good, it is a disaster waiting to happen.
