I have left the sub, I've waited outside for over an hour in gamestime, and a second time I fast traveled back to downtown and got hit by smugglers before I went back to check. But the problem is before that, it won't acknowledge I've flipped the switch, my pipboy marker stays on the switch and the quest objective says I have to flip it to confirm still.

I am having a strange problem with Velvet Curtain and Blackhall quests. When I'm in the sub the game will not activate that I've flipped the confirm switch to blow up the sub. The switch moves but nothing happens and no quest update occurs. And in the Blackhall quest I can't activate the sacred pedistal, I can remove the skull, but I can't grab the book and once again the quest won't move forward. Any ideas?
