Hello everyone. I posted this on reddit yetserday but no one has yet to respond so I'm going to try here: Hello people! Please read everything. I made another post a few days ago about my grass and later on I realized my problem is not the grass but something else. I've done so much searching the past couple of days and I've found no fixes. I'm currently using TAZ visual overhaul and it looks like a worse version of the screenshots on the main page. My Skyrim looks more washed out and less colorful. And it' s not just TAZ, it looks like this for all other ENBs I've tried. I've followed the skyrimmodding subreddit's guide on ENBs and mod installations as well as other guide's like the Skyrim Ultimate Modding Guide, I've followed the installation steps and requirements for every ENB, I've disabled my AA AO and FXAA in my skyrim settings, and I have the proper graphics settings in my Nvidia control panel. SO.... what I think the problem is that I have these settings like AA AO and FXAA disabled but the ENB is not replacing them. Here's why I think this: AA is non existent. Everything has jagged edges. So if AA is not working then maybe the others don't. And yes I searched for this AA problem as well. You can look at my enblocal below for my AA settings. So to show you guys what I'm seeing, here's a comparison of Whiterun between my game and the TAZ page screenshot. And yes, I know he's using some Whiterun mod (probably J's Whiterun). If you look closely you'll see my colors are not the same as his. It's obvious when you look at the lighting on the stairs, the tiles at the bottom of the stairs, the fabric on the top of the stalls, and the bricks on the corners of the wall to the left.my screenshot: https://imgur.com/9Be9Ku7TAZ page screenshot: https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/110/images/61826-5-1421677934.jpgIf you think my ENB is fine and the graphics look the same in both pictures I am going to disagree. The differences aren't really that obvious in the screenshot but there is a noticeable difference and it's more obvious when you're in game and moving around. I'm 100% sure there is something wrong otherwise I wouldn't be making such a huge effort into this post.here are my ini's:Skyrim.ini: https://pastebin.com/mDtzhQGdSkyrimprefs.ini: https://pastebin.com/nrYKTcuVenblocal: https://pastebin.com/qe8HNJbn And here's my modlist: https://modwat.ch/u/Superw0rri0/plugins my specs:Nvidia GTX 1070 (laptop)intel i7 875016gb ram I've also had this issue on my old laptop so I must be doing SOMETHING wrong. Thank you in advance!! <3

Hey guys... I have a question for you What I'm trying to do is replace the wings from the succubus race mod (NSFWish) with the wings from the animated featherd wings mod I've tried replacing the files in a couple different ways but I'm pretty sure I"m doing it wrong. In theory this should work because I think they're both remodeled versions of animated dragon wings but I have yet to get it right. So my question is: Should I be able to simply replace the files or Would i have to edit them in the creation kit or nifskope? I'm doing this for myself and will not release just fyi But why would I do this in the first place? I read up the lore on succubi in the elder scrolls lore (see appearance and personality) and they tend to have black angelic wings and I think it would look cooler too. All help is appreciated and thanks in advance :)

Bathing animation for bathing mod/Bathing mod expanded
Superw0rri0 replied to Superw0rri0's topic in Oblivion's Mod Ideas
That is the mod that I am talking about... When you take a bath it just gives you a message saying you have taken a bath. I'm asking to add an animation to it that works similar to SYS. -
Considering the bathing mod is 2 years old, forgive if this has already been requested. Edit: Ignore this request.... i didn't know about the other bath mod that has everything i wanted plus more Being the immersion freak that I am. I thought it would be awesome if there was a bathing animation for the bathing mod. Couldn't find one... thought I'd request it. I'm thinking of doing it myself once I learn how to actually mod and get some experience, but for the time being I don't know how to do it and maybe someone else would like to take it up. I'm more than willing to do it myself once I learn how to mod but it's going to be a little while before i can start. The animation part: Basically, the way it would work is kind of like SYS except there is no wait time. Also make it so that you can't wear any clothes before you want to bathe and then go into the animation. We wouldn't want to take a bath with are clothes on now do we.... or at least make this optional for those who don't care. It would be nice if the animation would loop and you just press E to get out of it like in immersive waiting. There would be an animation for the normal bath tubs, and maybe some of the other tubs might need a special animation. The only one that might cause issues are the fountains. I would imagine the animation for tubs would be laying down while the fountains would be a sitting down animation or standing/leaning over animation (i personally would prefer sitting). In terms of the actual cleaning animation... I'm not asking for this whole extravagant bath scene. Just make it so that there's a loop of the player rubbing a bar of soap in various areas of the body but make it look reasonable. Also there would need to be a different animation for bathing in natural water. Due to the way the bathing mod works I would imagine the animation would have the player rubbing soap on the body with one hand while swimming or (this one might be weird) but the player could be floating on his or her back and rubbing the soap that way. If you can include the soap bar in the animation that would be better, thankfully there is a model for it so you wouldn't need to worry about that. The expanded part: It would also be nice if there was an option to need a bar of soap for both tubs and natural water instead of just natural water (make this optional). And maybe give soaps 2 or 3 uses instead of just 1... maybe raise the price to allocate for balance (again make this optional). The only problem that I see (and maybe this is due to my lack of knowledge of oblivion mods) is making it work for every body type/size. Edit: Looking at the pictures of the tub... it would look like there would need to be 4 different animations. One for the normal rectangle tubs, one for the circular tubs, one for the fountains, and one for natural water.

Playing Oblivion again, need a few mods.
Superw0rri0 replied to mojojoe1999's topic in Oblivion's Discussion
I just bought i on the steam sale too..... I've already gotten a large list of mods that I've been adding to non stop for the past 4 days. My general experience is that just keep searching through the nexus and find stuff that you like. It's hard to recommend mods that you will like since everyone has their own opinion so I'll just give you a list of the base mods (which you can find in one of the stickied threads). The stickied threads have some good information and if you're not sure which kind of mods you want, check out the List of Mods Lists thread (it's stickied). If you want a list of the best 25 mods. go to the nexus and see the top 100 mods :p Here are some mods that you will want to download first thing: - Oblivion Mod Manager (OMM) - Oblviion Scrypt Extended (OSE) - Wrye Bash - BOSS - Unofficial Oblivion Patch If you have Shivering Islands (SI) - Unofficial Shivering Islands Patch I'm unexperienced with modding and there are a few things that I might be wrong on. Hopefully i don't give you wrong information and if I do hopefully someone else will correct it. Some advice: - When you install mods, try to install 1 - 4 at a time. If it's something small like clothing or items then 3 or 4 at a time is fine. If it's something big like complete overhaul's and body replacers then try 1 at a time. Always make sure to test the mods. - You don't always have to install or activate every esp in your data files. Some mods come with patches that fix compatibility with other mods. Only activate them if you have that mod, otherwise the game will crash on start up. However, i suggest including every esp and only activate the ones that you need. For example, you install mod A and it has a patch for mod B but you don't have mod B, then later on you find out that you like mod B, all you have to do is activate that patch. No hassle. - If a mod comes with an omod conversion file then that means you can implement it into OMM and it works as an easy installer and uninstaller. Do this whenever you can. To set up the omod, go to OMM click on "create" at the bottom. If the mod is a folder file click on "add folder". if it's a zip or some other kind of archive, click on "add archive". Some messages will pop that usually ask you a yes or no question. Just read them and see what they say and answer on your judgement. Then finally, double click on the list to the right with the colored squares and you can install your mod. Some mods already have the omod set up for you so all you have to do is run the file and it does everything for you. I believe any mod (correct me if i'm wrong) can be implemented into wrye bash. All you have to do is click and drag the archive into the installers tab and you now have an easy way to install and uninstall a mod. - If a mod asks you into do an archive validation, just simply go to OMM, click on utilities archive invalidation. - In some cases mods will have to be loaded in a certain order. You do that with OMM at the bottom left. Just make sure to select the mod that you want to move. Here's a link to the List of Mod Lists: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/41008/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Foblivion%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D41008%26preview%3D&pUp=1 enjoy your mods -
Reddit thread: Inspiration: (go ahead and skip to mod description if you don't want to read this) The way I built my character in my third play through (the play through that I was going to do everything and not rush through the main quest) was that I didn't preset anything, I just defined a few ways I wanted to play and I let my character grow from there. Yesterday, my character finally became something. At first I just wanted him to be a weapon's specialist. A well-rounded mercenary. I maxed Guns and lockpick and almost maxed Unarmed, speech, barter and sneak and after I will max Melee and Big Guns. I wanted my character to be kind of evil so I joined the Legion (as I always wanted to do). I got to the quest where I had to assassinate the president. So I hid behind a distant sign, took out my Anti-Material Rifle switched to explosive rounds and took of Kimball's head in explosive and gory bliss. I killed all the other NCR near by and I took his suit. I put it on, put on authority glasses, and for some reason I put on my rebreather. I went to third person and my character found his role. He became a villain that looked like he came from something like a mix between James bond and batman and I loved it and stuck to the role. I looked around and I noticed a few cowering civilians. I looked at them and as a super villain, I wanted to do horrible things to them, but all I did was stare at them and talk to myself pretending I was talking to them and I eventually took my Greased Lightning and killed them one by one. It wasn't really that satisfying. I wanted to do more. I wanted to order them around, make them stand at the edge of the dam and push them off or make them take off their clothes and kill them in humiliating ways or take them to my hideout question them, humiliate them, torture them, kill them in brutal ways, or maybe even enslave them and force them to work for me. I wanted to do something that the Joker would do or something that Raiders would do. I wanted to be a true villain. Mod description: A mod that adds mechanics to the game that lets you do things a villain would do. -Threaten NPCs -Humiliate them -Order them around: *Make them stand somewhere *Take off their clothes *Commit Suicide *etc... -Enslave them -Take them with you to a hideout or a location of your choice -Question them -Torture them -Force them to do work for you -Etc. Do you see what I'm getting at? I can get more ideas if I put more thought into it but I was wondering if anyone would like to make this.

Umm... I'm not so sure... it could be it but I looked around and i'm not 100% sure... thanks though... I will check this mod out, looks pretty good. If anyone else has something then go ahead..

After watching some of skyrim I felt the need to play some oblivion. And I remember a few months back there was this really good mod that I really wanted to try out on the hot files previews. I really want to play and I can't remember it's name so here's a description that I hope is enough to be pointed out. I remember that the mod basically remade Oblivion with it's own story and environment. It described the game as more of you being a normal person instead of being the savior of the world. I'm not sure if this is enough to describe it but that's all i can remember at the moment. I also kind of remember a screenshot of a scenic bird's eye view of a castle or a town from an angle.... however that could be anything but that's all I remember. Thanks if you guys can figure this out and sorry if it's not descriptive enough but that's all i can remember.
