Hello,
to keep it short... I used to have a mod that added a pencil-like item which allowed you to mark any containers for autosorting (click box , select "weapons", click box 2, select "sorting", all items added to box 2 that are weapons get transfered to box 1 ... You know the stuff.). Basically allowing you to set up a base with autosorting feature anywhere.
Can't find it at all, would be really gratefull for help.
This one?
Nope.
Using this at the moment, but it always sorts -all- items, which can cause more problems than joy at times (for super-hoarder like), while the one I'm looking for sorts only what you put into a container you mark as sorting container. The major part I remember was that it added a marker or a pencil item to be used to flag the container/s permanently.
Gee, I really wish I'd backed up all the mods I collected over the years before reinstalling Windows :D

Hey. Looking for mod that would allow me to command (Wait / Follow ...) my summoned minions, preferably via bound keys (using either SKSE or SD), without adding other features.
I found these command in Nature of the Beast, but that particular mod adds a whole lot of other stuff too, that makes my game somewhat less stable.
I find it hard to believe noone ever made such a mod, but I simply can't find it no matter how hard I look.
Thanks in advance,
Elvi
You can try UFO, there is a book you can buy from the guy at the whiterun stables and it teaches shouts to command all your followers at once; I'm not sure if it applies to summons as well (don't use them, I'm a melee) but it's worth a shot.
It does not, that is why I said minions, UFO stuff seems to ignore anything that doesn't have dialogue option of it's own.

Greetings.
I'm looking for a mod that would change how NPCs level (making the world more static) and more importantly would change loots, so that glass, ebony, etc equipments doesn't appear around the game much or at all.
I'm sure I ran int something like that recenty, but I can't find it again - and it's not Unleveled World or Skyrim Deleveled.
I would be really thankfull for any suggestions, thanks!
EDIT: To simplify, I'd like to have a Skyrim where everything is from wood, iron, leather and steel, apart from rare occasions and places where it fits (ie. Thalmor = elven) despite my level.

@Damius
I know it up to the task because I already have over 500 hours of Skyrim played, I just wanted to return to it after getting depressed over ME3 haha. Only thing new is the patch. When I last played it was 1.3.something, now it's over 1.5, so I guessed it's something in the patch, kinda hoped it would be something widespread.
@Xotana
Not quite sure what does that mean, to be honest :P

Greetings.
I haven't played Skyrim for quite a while, so I decided to install it again, letting Steam do all the work, patching it, appliing the HD pack, but everytime I start a new game, once the thief on the carriage says "You damned Stormcloaks!" the game crashes with no clues left behind. Already tried with mods, clean install and once more clean install without touching any otions or settings and getting everything to low and turning HD pack off, but it always crashes at the same point +- few seconds.
Any idea what could be causing it and what could fix it? Would be really gratefull for that.
Cheers,
Elvin.

Yeah, there is no no-Steam version that is "totaly legal" unless you're on console.
If you somehow cracked it yourself to not use steam, then that is probably at fault.
Otherwise, you have to activate mods manually to make them work, but I presume you know that.

Without reading the last 6 pages...
If I got what you said right, you have the geeky look and you have joined a debate about something perverted. I guess you might be flagged as pervert, if the debate is with people you don't know and they don't know you.
On the sidenote, as to how "bad and wrong" this is comming from women... You have never look at a peroxide blonde with huge brests and somewhere in your mind had a though "Wow, she is prolly stupid" pop up?
Yeah, I though so.
Stereotypes are a way how to categorize people you don't know. Most people do it, even unintentionaly. You see a skinny guy with glases - oh, look, a nerd. You see dyed blonde girl - oh, look a Barbie, you see a fat, sweaty bald man - oh, look a goverment official (well, that might vary depending on where you live).
Of course, saying it out loud is not very...tact.

Honestly, I don't think Beth fixed anything with GOTY, still leaks memory, still crashes, still has more bugs than players.
As far as I saw, the only explanation from Beth was that it "simply" crashes on "some" systems. Period. Up to you what some systems are and why exactly it crashes.
Frankly, Oblivion crashes, without a fix, F3 crashes, without a fix, FNV crashes, without a fix, Skyrim crashes even more and it's not only without a fix, but they are also sabotaging any fixes players make...

Well, Bioware doesn't allow any use of their stuff at all I believe, so no ports like you can see with Witcher armors... Means someone would have to make it look-alike and from scrath.

I'm not really sure how any of the mods you mentioned could cause CTDs. Unless your computer runs out of memory. But that would prolly happen before 1.4 as well.
I had CTDs too, but it went away after reinstalling SKSE, SD and SkyUI completly, so it was one of those for me, prolly got "damaged" during the patch. Also not that the performance boosters like SkyBoost don't really work anymore.
I guess you can't loose anything by letting Steam check integrity too. At the end, you could try uninstalling (+ manual delete of all folders) and reinstalling skyrim. Again.
Worst case - The random (trully random, not tied to any mods) CTDs which plagues thousands of people since the launch finally got to you.
At one point I also got stuck on crash while exiting Dragonsreach... I deleted the save (ingame) and when I restarted the game the save wasthere again and working. But I don't really recomment trying that at home :D
-
Well, for the mods, you really should get some sorting software, where the most obvious choice would be NMM (for manual) and BOSS (for automatic sorting). I do not believe Steam actully has any idea about load order and that Data Files are not very good choice either since you can't really sort anything in there. Load order is actually pretty important tho.
As for the screens, not quite sure which mod could cause it. But then again, who knows how Steam does things and what might get killed in the install process.
And you surely can play, I'd just recommend to make a lot of manual separate saves along the way, so you can always just go back to one of those if something goes wrong. But hey, that actually aplies even if you don't have any problems, with Beth games :P

I think this might belong to Spoiler section, and then I think you will find out a little bit later why Big Bro did what he did. Even tho the hole in the tower is just over-convinient attack. Too convinient to be realistic, but then again, if the game ended at that point with "And everyone burned alive in that tower." *end credits* ... It wouldn't be too popular game :D

Hoarding is good.
Either way, I don't think I have ever encountered a Frost troll who didn't "drop" Troll fat.

Well, for sure, but I'd personally like it FNV style. It was enjoyable enough and sure added a lot to the RP feeling, without being too intrusive and annoying - Some measure of realism is adding to the game, but too much is making it annoying. Most people play games to escape from the boredom and troubles of reality, not to speand time in a world where they won't be able to exist if they forget to cut their character's fingernails.
One of the problems here would be that the game wasn't made for this, so you also need to add a lot of water troughout the world and think about what could do what.
Also, it's a bit "eh" but I'd say Sleep > Magicka, Thirst > Stamina would prolly be more logical.
On a sidenote, it would be cool to add X% chance to get certain diseases from eating raw meat, rather than always getting it.
For the warm-ness, I wouldn't integrate armors into that. Let's face it, the equipment screen is pretty annoying as it is, swiching armors (and mind you, not parts, you need to swich whole sets) everytime you change location would get pretty tiresome in a while, not to mention it wouldn't work with armor mods and would be deadly from the fashion viewpoint. Instead you could give in the characters cold resistance. Also "warming" potions and alcohol. Not sure about the warmness of location, because that would probably mean you'd need to place markers as to what's cold and what's warm by hand all over Skyrim. Thousands of markers. That's a lot. But I don't know how that part works to be honest. Well, frankly, unless it's just an imagination caused by my lack of skil, this all coul be so extremely hard to make, that i'm not sure the warmness is worth it.l

Well it's not the "placeatme" type of scripting... unless you want what I said earlier. Plus this particular thing would most likely need brand new animations as well, and that's rather hardcore thing, at least in my opinion.

Well, I think the archive refers to either bsa or the pack for managers, but not archive as in the regular archives. You'll need to do that by hand, unless they changed more about the CK than I noticed in my short time checking it. And yeah, Steam will prolly taky anything you make from your hands as-is, but here it needs to be packed first. Well, personally, I'm glad for that, it would be rather chaotic soon, if you were downloading single files, folders and... stuff. .P
-
Ok, now, I'm not trying to make you look stupid... or make me look stupid... But you don't mean "package" and "archive" as in .rar, .zip or .7z ...Or do you?
In that case, you'd need either Winrar, Winzip or 7zip programs, those serve for creating/unpacking archives or any kind. But I'm a bit confused, because I dont know how could you survive so long without having one of those archivers.

Well, multiple arrow shooting is as realistic as wielding two weapons in each hand... Would love to see it in Skyrim notheless. And there are other things which could make archery more enjoyable. And many, many more people would like it I can imagine.
Tho, it's not exactly simple task to do, without looking weird (as in placing several arrows into one, so you technically shoot two, do double damage, loose two arrows but...well, will look exactly the same as normal shooting). Really wonder if someone will get to do the job, and if... then when. Could take years... if we judge by Oblivion experience, heh.

What's wrong with Steam-anything bashing?
Anyway, I'd say start by looking into your data folder in skyrim install (steamapps) to see if the workshop uninstall really deleted everything ... and then, get NMM (or any other manager if you prefer) and perhaps BOSS (sorts your load order to avoid most conflicts) ... Managing trough the launcher is not the best way to do it, even if you can acces data files.
-
Well, as the Khajiit caravaneers keep moving from city to city, sometimes you can catch them while they are arriving at one of the cities and as far as I can tell, they won't set up the camp untill you go to another cell and wait for some time.
-
all those things were made after the game was shipped
Why put it in the game on it's release, when you can sel it a little later as separate DLCs?
Overall, have to agree we what soeone already said, I find that vido to be very frustrating. All that could've been, all that should've been...

Are you sure you have activated it (by checking the box in the esps listing), not just installed it after the NMM downloaded it? Relacers replace, you don't have to activate the .esp, but standalone things need to be activated too.

Yes! That's it! Thanks a lot.
And yeah, the feeling right after you started formatting your HDD - "Hey, I have like 300 mods for Oblivion and Fallout and I have no idea what they are. Crap.". ... Actually, this reminds me, is there a way to track down files I've endorsed 1-3 years ago here on Nexus? I've looked around, but couldn't see anything.
