To kill ini changes, simply delete both inis in your documents, run the game and it will generate new clean ones. You will have to set the graphics again in the launcher.
I recommend to not tweak anything in the inis, unless you are sure how the engine works OR use a guides, plenty of them out there, I especially like the nVidia one, since it very crearly shows what will happen and what's the difference copared to default, also lists all possible complications it might cause.
Tho ini tweaks could alter anything visual, or cause crashes, it can't really affect dragons, so... that might be just random bug or other mod. And nope, cleaning ini or tweaking the hell out of them won't affect your saves.

The patch, for the very first time, seems to actually fix a few things without causing even more bugs...but the CTDs, yeah... I'm pretty sure I had more crashes in last few days than in the two months before that, usually during loading, and i'm also pretty sure it's not a coincidence. Tryied without mods, skse and all performance mods, but no luck. I'd say it's one of the usual Bethesda "Ups, won't work on some system for some reason" patches.
And yeah, thumbs up for both Beth and Steam for forced patching, despite of settings, way to go.

Jeez, sorry, ignore me, I just realized what am I looking for exactly, right after posting.
Cheers.

I don't think NMM can damage your sound. As in... ever, in any way.
Delete inis, let the game generate new ones, also let steam recheck your game, something might've gone wrong during the forced update.
If that doesn't work, then think about what mod you have could mess with audio. Distable, run the game, check, continue. Or try new sound card drivers. Or reinstall the game. One of those shuld work. But the inis is usually a safe bet with Skyrim.

And UK isn't part of the EU in a lot of ways.. I don't think that bill affects us. Thankfully.
Dude, you got no idea.
Its called ACTA here, and in core the UK is part of the EU making all legislation apply, the UK just didn't sign much of the extra treaties, like the Euro or the Schengen treaty.
Mind you, ACTA is not "EU SOPA", mainly because it's not EU bill and because it's a whole lot different than SOPA. Potentially dangerous, but different.

In like 97% cases, it's tied to religion or medical reasons. Don't think any parents do that because "Looks like fun" I believe.

Alright bro no need to go all "jerk-mode engage" on me, geez
It seemed weird that i just happened to me right now, i was about to lose it since im not in the US.
because it is apparent that you are not on the internet either.
how the hell could you not have known about SOPA if you use the internet?
and SOPA sucks, if it passes, jerk companies can jsut shut down sites if there was just a link to a copyrighted material. hell, they don't even need proof, they can just shut a site down and make the owner prove that there are no copyrighted materials on the site.
so say goodbye to youtube, facebook, twitter, Nexus, wikipedia, all sites that have torrents of any kind, all forums that even allows posting of pictures/screenshots of movies/tv shows, etc etc.
that bill will basically shut down the internet
Well, you're making it a bit more dramatic than it is - it's not like it threatens youtube's existence, even tho it could be deadly for smaller sites. It just opens doors for a lot of lawsuits, more profit for certain companies and possibly censure. Which is pretty bad, but not as bad as you made it sound. The dramatic part is, if this passes, what will be there in the future? Only goverment (read as entertainment companies) aproved people get acces to internet? (yes, that's called a hype, please don't catch the sentence and troll about it)
And don't compare this to the EU one, while it might sound similar, it's not. Not that much. Not at all, actually. Now, thinking about it, which one you mean, only kinda-similar thing to SOPA is in France, no?
@Trueblue: Have bad news for you. UK is part of the EU as much as it gets

Greetings.
I just want to ask, is it possible (with GECK) to take Small / Energy weapon a tie it permanently to your hand (as long as it's kept equipped), similarly to how Unarmed weapon work - Staying in your hand instead of "sheathing".
Thanks in advance for any possible answer,
Thanks.

I'd recommend using actuall Bethesda support forum for PS. Not all that many people (I think) around here have PS3 versions, since it's a modding site, which means PC.

Thing is, you may either listen to the lecture, or not. Surfing the internet is the easy way to do it, but you migh just as well read a book or draw caricatures of the proffesor in your notebook, the effect will be more or less the same.
Not really. Studies have shown that doodling can even increase focus and retention to some degree as long as the person is making some effort to pay attention to the lecture or presentation. This is because doodling is part of a kinetic learning process, where the mind uses doodling to ease tensions and other distractions. It's part of the same reason why taking notes helps improve retention even if you never use them or can't read them later.
Using a laptop and browsing the web or sitting on facebook however is a higher demand on attention and thought since you are focusing on two separate things, occasionally switching between the two (just to see if the lecture is interesting yet). I've seen this constantly during recent years in college, mostly among first or second year students. They miss announcements, don't remember what was covered in the previous class (or 15 minutes prior), and usually drop the class after failing a few tests. In some cases even the people who don't ever show up do better since they usually spend effort on their own to keep up to date.
Which is why I said "more or less" and also used a book as an example. Of course, doodling divides attention just a bit in this case, while reading, be it book or a web page, takes almost all focus. Simply because most of people aren't capable of reading and listening at the same moment (considering the text and speech are different). Also note that there is a difference between random scribbles and actuall drawing.
But to simplify it, I'm getting a bit tired of people blaming computers and all things related for great many things, ranging from violence to stupidity. It's never parenting, character flaw, lazyness or actuall stupidity - it always is computer, games or the internet.

Yes, more games here, friendlier people and more space to talk too. No "thread closed for being too long".
Beth forums are a bit nut lately, the thread deleting is annoying, even if it's perhaps a repost... But the evil part is the " Closed for moderation. Will be revisited by moderator and opened shortly" ... half of the Beth-unfriendly threads get that and never get opened again. And I don't mean the RAGE!!!!! threads, I mean the intelligent, civil ones.
I understand that all good and bad things that came with Skyrim might be a bit overwhelming, but they really act like giant angry kid with a hammer sometimes :P

I will rephrase my post, as I think I didn't make sense at all even for myself. Just like elvinkun used the quote, I would too.
...half a class of students was allowed to use internet-connected laptops during a lecture, while the other had to keep their computers shut. Those who browsed the web performed much worse...Well, yeah. They aren't completely focused on the work. Even if they are looking up stuff they need, they are not as concentrated. Don't blame the internet for this, blame the user, or yourself if you are that user. There are lots of things on the internet, useful and not useful. It's up to you whether to waste time on not useful things or do something better than that.
I agree with elvinkun. -
...Really? I mean... really? I wonder if they did study about whether people with headphones and mp3 player running hear others talking better or worse that people without them too.Thing is, you may either listen to the lecture, or not. Surfing the internet is the easy way to do it, but you migh just as well read a book or draw caricatures of the proffesor in your notebook, the effect will be more or less the same.
Similar to the homework-making problem mentioned before. Yes, when you sit down to make it and have a computer running... it's pretty much like getting a small child, placing it's most beloved toys around and telling it to ignore them and concentreta.
Those are all distractions, someone have the will to ignore them and focus, someone needs to hide them first to not be "tempted", either way, I don't believe computers in general, or internet are more perma-damaging than toys, books or drawing, if you can't read a text without clicking on links, you wouldn't be able to read a book without looking out of the window either.
And the mentioned "mind fog" ... well, if someone spent last 10 years just by sitting and looking on the screen without ever thinking... That is about something else - if one doesn't use brain, it slows down eventually.

Yes, only the same-spell only, just as with any other school. The good part is that the bolt spells stun most opponents for a brief moment when dual cast.
-
Truth is that most people tend to use it as "I need help now", alias the hot support line, which is ultimately annoying.
On the other hand, another fact is that if you aren't known to "the locals", chances are you will be ignored no matter what you ask, say or try.
-
RIP to all of the companions who were "right behind me" all the time, untill they suddenly weren't and never came back back for unknown reason.
-
I'm sorry, this is a bit subjective, to say the least.
Key points are "some", "maybe" and "perhaps". I wouldn't blame problems with concentration on the internet or computers in general, not to mention I very much doubt you can genetic "illnesses" from using it </sarcasm>.
Not to mention things like...
...half a class of students was allowed to use internet-connected laptops during a lecture, while the other had to keep their computers shut. Those who browsed the web performed much worse......Really? I mean... really? I wonder if they did study about whether people with headphones and mp3 player running hear others talking better or worse that people without them too.
Thing is, people always try to find something to blame for their shortcommings, you may either go with that or learn to accept it...or do something about it. Readiong a book or ten a month is a good start if you have concentration and memory problems -or, again, you can say "darn them computers, makin' me stupid" :P
-
Well, you don't have to train at all. It doesn't give you any bonuses whatsoever, it's just that it makes the skills raise faster than if you do it yourself.
As for pickpocketing, it should be the same as any other NPC, that means higher value, higher risk. 2k gold can be a bit hard.
-
Blah that is true, and I dont know how to do that xD
But anyways,I guess this is were the Devs got the idea for the AMR in Fallout. Can only imagine dropping it on your foot or osmething
Dropping on your foot? Try to run with it around a desert for the whole day :D
Tho have to admit, AM rifles are one of the few weapons I really consider to be beutiful for no reason, funny thing, that.
-
Well, technically, just the fact you are talking to Daedra princess makes you grey, at the very least, working for them goes beyond that.
On the other hand, what is black and white, anywhere? You just have admit that it's goody-hero in the public and selfish bastard killing kittens for reward in the private :P
-
I believe that it's not Adult content, the fact it may lead to nudity when combined with other mod and imagination doesn't count. Everything would be "AC" then.
As far as barbie body goes, no idea. I'd say no, but seeing the development around the world, I wouldn't bet on it, haha.
Edit: As to above, I wouldn't really consider it nudity, the body with underwear might actually be more "erotic" than the one without it. And technically, any game by itself is NSFW. Ok, that's a bit "aaah".
-
You'll prolly hate me for this, but it is anti-materiel rifle, not material. Material is material...wood, iron and many other things, materiel is matériel - hardware, as in armors for example.
Not trolling, just a bit stingy about this one particular thing about AM rifles.
-
If you want a lot of endorsements, make something nude with very huge boobs.
I'm not joking.
-
I'd say it's really about lazyness. If one person out of 10 who like a mod comes back to endorse, it's a lot.
Ironically, people seem to endorse more when they have problem with the said mod and have to come back to it's page to solve it. And while there, they click the button.
-
Well if that's your idea of a joke:
Then maybe you should consider using smileys.
For the record there is absolutely no "hate" in what I've posted but I do dislike disparaging comments that are thrown around in an offhand manner because someone happens to be disagreeing. Insulting someone's intelligence is never conducive to a healthy and thought provoking discussion. On that note I will concur that this particular exchange is indeed pointless.
Oh, here I though you meant the one about the mirror. Since that actually was directed at someone -here-.
I'm not really sure you know whom I was talking about, if you did, you prolly wouldn't argue with me about it. Not to mention I haven't said I disagree with her, therefore she's stupid, I said she's stupid. There is a difference, it's not about opinions. In case you are talking about you, well, you're not stupid, just a bit rude. And I'm returning that favor. And franky, the fact you seem to read only parts of posts adds to that.
Either way, I say it's still truth. Can you point me to one "normal" (and you know what I mean, don't start with semantics about -what is considered normal-) "male feminist activist" or whatever you want to call it? I still say man saying he knows what women (ALL of them too) want and better than women (and vice versa for that matter) is a hypocryte and possibly stupid, or deluded (or religious zealot, but let's not go there), to make it sound better.
And to the provocation... When you run into a post you may not like or agree with and rush in with very defensive and kida rude attitude, you are not asking for or rather want polite, nice answer. If you wanted polite and nice answer, you would initiate the dialogue in such matter, no? That goes both ways, of course. That's the long version. Short is "leave your hate behind the doors if you don't want to bounce it back". Let's leave the attitude behind tho,, it's interesting debate if we cut that one out. Hmm?
