thank god you changed it from AF.. The only hope we have is to have some consistancy while all around us are loosing their heads. EA are a pain in the arse and we all have to put up with it. I believe that if we vote the favourite maps like wake, karkand, Gulf , mushtaar, and so on we might get regulars. But the annoying thing about it all is that I like them all. :blush: I think Bf2 is the most stable of them all ????? SF ,Euro, Af are close but no cigar !!!!!!!!!!

Funny phalanx is also a division in the Roman army the ones with the long spears :P Anyway Me and Montana Kicked a player called "Steffan" several times due to the fact he was shooting the planes at the begining of the round so no one could get in. Now we were about to ban him when he promtly left. We only held on due to the fact that he didn't kill anyone just annoyed everyone. We both told everyone why he was going to be kicked and Montana translated to someone in German. Montana then stayed on for about an hour to make sure it ran smooth. I think both me and Montana broke our kicking virginity last night ;) Somone did say "at last a server that is monitored by Admin" "thank god ill be back tommorow" ;D

I like to hear everyone in the squad specially because I am on GS which is a freindy server group. Also like Montana and others I like hearing different accents. I have got to know alot of contacts through battlefield around the world, but now I will seperate the chat and use xfire for that. Teamplay= can we all play if not everyday like some of us or a special day like fri or sat. Most of us meet on Fri for an all night session. Then we know thats the serious gaming session. By the way im trying to take time off work to work from home like today, so i can admin the server, but also to have lots of fun. so if anyone is a day person plz join gogogogogo ;D yeeeeeeha

sensitive subject :( what i like is that on GS you can attack the crossed out bases once all of the enemies flags are taken it adds to realism). As for planes (wake is a good example) people hate it being bombed on the carrier but because only the americans have a crossed out base (the carrier) it tends to happen and no-one stops them (on other servers). Due to the fact that people must feel that the airfield is there main base and they get bombed to fu*k. Its a difficult one because if a massive ship was park outside your island you would attack it. Now what ive done in the past as I dont fly planes much I have just taken planes and boats out as the cross the sea of death bettween the carrier and the horse shoe (the central area of water and the arty island). God is this for real limited areas on a Battlefield lol (is this war or a training game). Only jokeing far play is important. Now on other maps you can be acused of baseraping just becuase you chased a plane back to its ship or base. Also Arty on crossed out bases is annoying this should be dealt with by EA (very easy to sort, just make the arty icon dissapear when rolling the mouse over the base) Second point about Wake 2007 there should be more distance created from the carrier to the island. you might say what about how unfair because you could never get a boat across the water in time ( but think there is an island of boats on 'arty' island) just a thought :D . Gulf of Oman - taking out the ESSEX on ships- this is common and quite a skilled operation. If more people got on the two essex (i think there are) the planes wouldn't stand a chance. You must keep a bit of reality, that basicly bombers are for bombing runs so people shouldn't get angry when people are horing in vehilces because its war. (this is coming from more of an infantry solider) Its the repetitiveness of some players to keep using one vehicle and one technique that eggs me off big time. I agree with Dark0ne its the skill of an admin to identify the idiots and distinguish between the unlucky and the evil ones. (also for me being an admin is not about ego tripping)

BF 2042 looks wack, another reason to spend money on a new pc and have the agony of patch that fixes a patch, that fixs a patch, that fixs a patch. BF 1942 took a long time before it was sorted were as Desert Combat sorted itself in DC FINAL. BUT I have faith in BF2 and will play it until the earth splits in two and we all fall down a big hole in the ground :wacko:

:D Of course MadAnt anytime. This is the classic battle between ATI and Nvidia and as we also have a new skirmish with the influx of nvidia sli and the Ati crossfire cards. So when I was looking at AGP vs PCI express to take the leap of faith to dual cards, I realised that there are lots to choose from and many different opinions. If yo'u looked just at power ;'Nivida' in the (gforce 4 Ti) days won hands down with ATI producing cinimatic effects for games such as half life 1 and 2. Now the Saphire ATI Radeon x800 series has done well and the gforce 6800 series (ultra ROCKS truely). The big question of old was MB 16 32 64 128 256 and so now pixel pipelines (the bandwidth me thinks) are improtant. Then everyone shouted about every element of the graphics card. Now we have the debate about PCI-E (express). When it first came out it was not so hot, then really hot 8) now i havnt gone in that direction because I have heard rumours that they are rethinking PCI-E and possibly going back to AGP????(makes sence why there are so many low priced PCI-E cards). The SLI/Crossfire thing is amuzing because now poeple say that Nvidia SLI is more unstable than Crossfire but the ATI crossfire system (one version anyway) needs a seperate cooler. This all reminds me of the Voodoo 2 excelorator cards which worked with a PCI card in one slot and a little lead to the voodoo you clipped together. My feeling is that seeing as you can get caught up in graphics cards and there are other things such as low latency RAM, sata or raid hard drives with low respose times and lovely proccessors such as the athlon 3700-4000 at even lower prices now. WAIT for things to pan out......... What a waffle Anyway there is more to discuss but I thought I would throw this in for luck :rolleyes: PS the one I showed you is supposed to be the only AGP card in the world with 20 pixel pipelines out of the box (no overclocking required, must be Gainward Gnomes working hard this year)

:wacko: hi all. I have to say well done for the server which is clean of spiteful idiots who kill for planes and all that cR*P. Some of the tactical horeing im not so sure what side of the fence because we all loved the heli flag capture of old....but to be honest what ever most people are doing i will just hunt them down like wild boars moohhaaa Well my question is why do severs (not GS of course) stop you attacking uncapable bases when all the flags are taken, because thats the madness of war running for your life from artililary, ducking from frendly fire. By the way Mogambo we still have to settle the score in the jets!! hehe Dark0ne I would like to take more of a role in server patrol and i know how to spot a nasty gamer. :ph34r: I dont know what to say really as im always on the server but I am going to continue speaking through this becase we can share information. like this what a nice card with the right kinda name Gainward 7800GS (with a 7800GT GPU) BLISS Silent 512MB AGP TVO DVI I would suggest this for battlefield any contestants in AGP
