Has anybody made a mod to make the junk items more useful?

I've used a similar mod before in morrowind. Havent played oblivion, so i dont know if there was a mod similar.

Has anyone made those lanterns that you can pick up useable? Though skyrim dungeons are lit up, I miss walking around holding a lantern like in morrowind.
