  1. I'm not a fan. Page is way way way slower to scroll now. If I were to us game terms: old page runs at 60 FPS, new one runs at like 15 FPS. Feels very sluggish. The part that is above the mod grid takes up more of the screen but displays the same amount of information as far as I can tell. Looks like it's making a worse use of space. The grid elements are larger so you see less of them on screen and you have to scroll more. Again a worse use of space. Pagination is gone and instead we get infinite scrolling. This is terrible. It's way more comfortable to select a page number than trying to wrestle with the infinite scroll to go where you want. Try going through MIhailmods' user files using the beta page, see how fun that is. I hate that they elements are not ordered by release date anymore. The "You have downloaded this mod" marker is hard to see. For some reason the author's profile pic is on every grid element despite it already being present at the top of the page. Some of these gripes are obviously due to personal preference but I'm confused how some of this got the OK to be pushed through even if it's for the sake of getting feedback. Is it really not that obvious that the infinite scrolling thing is a big step back?
  2. Aw yeah.
  3. As the titles says are these disabled? For the past ~4 days all I've seen is new files notifications but nothing related to images.
  4. A bit rough around the edges and some bugs here and there (for what it's worth it's not worse than any Bethesda game in that regard) but overall a very fun game IMO. You're a peasant who can't fight so go train with the captain once you're able to and come back regularly, he's a good sparing partner. Good luck to all!
  5. In response to post #57435971. You underestimate the amount of lurkers and how attractive the word "free" is. Also, keep in mind that some of us are already lifetime premium members.
  6. In response to post #57199161. #57199196 is also a reply to the same post. Yeah, just found the Mo Import extension amongst the many other extensions it has, quite impresive (can't really test it since I don't have any games on my work laptop). It wouldn't surprise me if you really wanted to you could do it manually by looking at how it has it's profiles set up and try to mimick that with the data MO stores for its profiles.
  7. Downloaded and installed/logged in with it using my work laptop, hopefully this is enough for me to be able to use it at home. I'm assuming that with future versions we'll be able to install this in other locations than the default one (Program Files/Black Tree Gaming). Hopefully it'll have an import from Mod Organizer feature as well. Can't wait to get home and start testing this thing out.
  8. Where can we sign up for the alpha (if at all possible)?
  9. Thanks for the info! Happy New Year btw! @Brandon007 @tjack84 I meant the papyrus functions, should have been more clear, my bad.
  10. Apologies if this is the wrong threat to ask but what about F4SE, any idea when a possible beta of that might occur? Thanks for all your work, this community wouldn't be where it is without you guys!
  11. In response to post #43224730. #43229715, #43231195, #43231225, #43234520, #43237900, #43238095, #43248580, #43248780, #43256345, #43256845 are all replies on the same post. Voting for NeMO. Optionally include images of sushi.
  12. SeemsGood Kinda bummed out that Mo2 isn't getting any further development but I'm in no rush atm to play any of these games. I'll sign up for the beta or whatever when I get back to playing and help out.
  13. In response to post #41272545. #41272865 is also a reply to the same post. So you can quickly access your the nexus site for your games quickly. The current site already has such a feature (been there for a while), just hover over the nexusnetwork button in the upper right corner of the page bellow your name. Personally I prefer to not fill my bookmarks with subpages I can already easily access.
  14. I kinda like it. I look forward to you showcasing game specific main pages (like nexusmods.com/fallout4/ for example) because those are mainly the pages from which I navigate to other pages related to one particular game. I hope we can pick which tab is opened by default when visiting a game main page instead of news being the default one. Nothing wrong with putting emphasis there but to me the main things are the files and I read the news thanks to the notification system we currently have. One more suggestion would be adding the last update date next to the info bar under each mod (the one containing size, endorsements and downloads). Love the random button feature!
  15. Nice! Thanks Robin!
  16. That's very kind of you guys, thank you!
  17. Stuff like this can happen to major sites and Nexus is a pretty juicy target. Thanks for the heads up, Robin.
  18. This sounds pretty awesome. Thanks!

This hasn't been the case for years. @FavoredSoul People will be dicks on the internet regardless of whether they pay you or get your stuff for free. I highly doubt you'll put up with less s#*! if they can also throw in the "but I paid you for this" argument on top of all the other ones when they demand you do a certain thing a certain way. Like I said, people will be dicks on the internet. I'm not saying some modders didn't get flamed. It isn't the right thing to do, this much is obvious for most of us and when talking about this on the different forums I directed my disappointment at Valve and Bethesda, not at the modders. Reading people's thoughts about this stuff on the forums where trolling gets you banned pretty fast I noticed that other people did the same as I did: arguing in a civil manner, not flaming modders. Did some people post s#*! on the nexus? Yes... they but were also banned for it when reported by the the rest of the community. Did some people post s#*! on steam? Yes... but most of them are still there and encouraged by other trolls. If you think putting your mod behind a pay wall on SWS will make people less rude on the steam forums you're sorely mistaken. Not to mention that the SWS is horrible for hosting skyrim mods due to the way information is baked into the save game. It can royally screw over your game and this is not even accounting for the conflicts that can pop up as mods get updated. As a user you have no control over updates. You guys can "thank" us all you want by calling us shitstains and other names... we've done this for the past 13 years for free and it has produced amazing results and we want to preserve that. We've uploaded mods and had to put up with selfish people just like everybody else. It sucks but you have to remember that most people don't feel that way, that most people really appreciate the work we put into this.
  20. There's nothing wrong with a mod authors making some money through donations and what not. But once you start charging people to use your mods you're running through quicksand, so may things can go wrong and the community will suffer in the long run. Besides you already have problems with people re-uploading stuff when they're not supposed to or using assets from other mods without permission. I encourage people to be open with other people using their work in their own mods but I can definitely see the other point of view where someone wants to have more control over their work and why it's infuriating seeing your work published without any permission or credit (credit should always be given). But once you throw money in the mix I can only see all that getting worse (mod piracy basically).
  21. In response to post #23134314. #23144049, #23144164, #23144489, #23146199, #23155579, #23156689 are all replies on the same post. Good luck man :)
  22. Very good article. Hope they come through. Also, couldn't help but think about that Godus kickstarter when you mentioned the dark side of kickstarter projects regarding more hype than actual work done.
  23. Robin, what server and faction are you playing in PS2? Me and my clannies are playing on Miller as TR.
