  1. So i noticed Dawnguard is a bit buggy by looking around on forums etc, im trying to play through the DLC now with the "improved vampires" mod. I would assume they are compatible, given dawnguards all about vampires. Are there conflicts with the two i should know about? things I should do to make them run smoothly together? At the moment im a vampire (love the mod by the way) and both dawnguard and the vamps all go hostile towards me, cant talk to (most of) them. I managed to get the Awakening mission off the first dawnguard guy (was tricky and had to run away straight after lol) but now when I go to the vampires little ritual in the dungeon they all are hostile and attack me no matter what (loaded old game, left followers behind etc). I dont want to get cured of vampirism because im afraid itll reset all my feedings and im at rank 3 of vampire.... help!!!
  2. thanks man good advice so how do i make a bash patch with wrye? ive installed it and run it but im not sure what im doing lol
  3. Awesome, yep sweet thats what ill be using. Smooth sailing with the mods ive put in so far except for the 2k HD textures mod I enable "Towns" and it disables the "Landscape" one. If I enable Landscape it unticks Towns....anyone got any thoughts on this? Actually, thoughts on this mod in general? Should I use the official HD patch or this 2k HD one? Or both at the same time?
  4. Heaps of good advice guys thank you! The mods ive decided on I am 100% on wanting in my game, ive read everything there is to read about them thoroughly and am definitely keen on them. Ive got wrye bash, and am installing the mods off here using the nexus mod manager, because it seems really simple and streamlined. The, if im correct, I can use wrye bash to make a patch that unifies them all together? is this right?
  5. Hi guys, just needing a bit of help and advice modding skyrim legendary edition. Theres a lot there and its all a bit overwhelming, especially with mod managing software etc I played the game a lot when it first came out, and am looking at coming back to it and having another play, this time with it heavily modded. Ive had a good look through the mods and have a few ideas, and am wondering if you guys could save me some trouble and tell me if some mods are incompatible, whats a good way to install them, and if they are even worth it in the first place. things i want: - gfx overhaul of some kind. I want the game to look as good as it can, and my computer is pretty good so performance shouldnt be an option (8 gig of ram, a 2 gig gfx card, soundcard etc) - weapons and armour added. (im thinking "immersive weapons" and "immersive armour", thoughts?) -monsters added (once again the immersive mod seems cool "immersive creatures") -skyrimUI looks handy, ill want to use that. - the mighty dragon mod looks cool, dragons were too easy last time. Or is there another one thats better? -"immersive patrols" and "organised bandits" look like they add a lot of cool random encounters and life to the world, recommended? - enemy AI overhaul "revenge of the enemies" looks cool, recommended? -civil war overhaul also seems like a great mod, thoughts? Have I missed anything? I really want to heavily mod the game before i play it again, so my experience is different right from the get go. I thought about Requiem but I dont think ill go with that at the moment (unless its compatible with all the other mods and you guys really recommend it) Sorry for my ramble, hope you guys can help me! thanks
