I think it stopped working when I tried to move the harvesting switch away from the doorway. I think I'll try replacing all the pistons and see if that does anything. Edit: I just finished building the collection system for the reed farm. You can't see it from this image but I found another bug, the one where piston looks like it's on and off at the same time. I'm glad it doesn't affect the collection system. Image of the collection system. I also went through the piston bug list but I couldn't find the cause for my reed farm not to work. I also tried replacing some of the pistons but as soon as I powered them again, the got stuck. Edit 2: I used world downloader to get the reed farm into ssp and it works. Looks like we have a smp piston bug.

I tested it couple of times during building it and it worked just like it was supposed to. I'm 100% sure that there is no other power source currently. If you want you can take a look at it and see if you can find anything wrong with it.

lostone1993, at first I didn't realize your house was there even I saw it. It looks good. I just finished building a reed farm that is harvested with pistons. I have three levels where reeds grow and pistons for each level for harvesting. The problem is, the pistons at the first two levels won't retract when unpowered. Only the top level works fine. Here is a screenshot of the setup. The pistons are all unpowered, but as you can see only the top pistons are retracted.

I think we have a sort of griefer on the server. My snow golem was killed again and someone has cleared the bottom three rows of snow blocks from my giant snow golem. My bed was also moved to my sheep pasture and my pumpkins stolen.

Is there any news on the plugins we had on the last world? I would really like to be able to protect my chests. I just found out that I have been robbed. Pretty much everything useful I had in my chests has been taken. Even the chest I placed inside a wall to protect the most valuable items was pretty much empty. Also my enchanting altar was stolen, and my snow golem had been killed. The good news is that the giant snow golem is still intact and my pumpkins were not taken.

Yesterday I noticed that someone had sheared all my sheep, so I breed them to get sheep that still have wool. Today I noticed that the new sheep have also been sheared and my chicken, pigs and cows have been all killed. Looks like someone has also harvested some of my wheat and my melons and pumpkins. I have been working on making a huge snow golem and I just finished the lower part. It took couple of hours, and to gather snow I used two diamond shovels and at least 15 iron shovels. So far I have used 1600 snow blocks and I still need 900 snow blocks and 2000 pumpkins to finish it. Here is a screenshot of the progress.

I just installed GLSL shaders and it really adds a nice touch to minecraft. I still need to try installing bump mapping without modloader as someone said that it's not compatible with it. Before installing GLSL my fps was something like 200, now it is something like 40.

What version is the server running? I just tried to connect and I got an error message saying: Disconnected by the server, outdated client. I'm using 1.8.1

Make sure that your Tesv.exe is not set to run as administrator. That solved the problem for me.

But shouldn't you still be be able to click data files and see Skyrim.esm?

You cannot get Redstone ore in 1.8 legit...In 1.9 Pre release however... You can :3 Silk touch diamond pickaxe FOR THE WIN. But why is there an option to sell redstone ore in nether store, or is it there for 1.9?

That flame looks so good. That GUI also looks good. I just finished automating my melon farm harvesting and I noticed that I can sell and buy redstone ore in nether store. How do you get redstone ore, once you mine it you get redstone dust.

At least if you have placed the TNT in the room and not in chests. I can only imagine that the store room is now a big hole. :)

That looks good, I have to get it too. One thing that also looks good is GLSL shaders. I wish it would be compatible with 1.8.

That GUI looks really good. I'm thinking of getting 1.9 PR 5, but how easy it is to change between 1.8 and 1.9? I mean I'm pretty sure I can't play on the server with 1.9 if the server is 1.8.

I have never really played on anything else than peaceful, except on the server. I do know that creapers are bad but if they are like a stack of tnt, I don't even want to see one. I have to say I agree with you about potion making.

Lava moat souds good but I think the one who gets killed by it would be me. I have a cactus wall and I'll have to see how well it works. KD, somehow I get the impression from your post that 1.9 is not a good thing. I havent tried any of the pre-releases but to me enchanting and breeding sounds good.
