I think I may have figured it out myself. It seems like the Wyre Bash patch was referencing the old patches which was fooling everything else into thinking they were still there. So I went into Wyre and manually deleted the old patches from the batch patch then rebuilt the batch patch. Then when I loaded NMM, LOOT, and TES5 Edit the plugins weren't showing up anymore. I'm going to fire up the game and see if its fixed for good. It definitely had some weird effects on the game while the problem persisted. It seems like it deactivated a bunch of my mods (even though they showed up as active) and I've had to reinstall a few (2K texture pack, Enhanced Lighting, etc) and may have to reinstall more. What a huge pain in the ass.

So I upgraded to the Legendary Edition Unofficial Skyrim Patch recently and then I realized I needed to remove the old Unofficial Skyrim patches (USKP, USKP Dragonborn, USKP Dawnguard and USKP Hearthfire) since they clash with the new merged patch. So I uninstalled the old patches and deleted them through Nexus Mod Manager. But I'm still getting an error message saying that they're still there and they need to be removed since they will damage the game. The old patches don't show up under the mods tab in Nexus Manager; but they do show up under the plugins tab although they're unchecked. They also show up in LOOT, Wyre Bash and TES5edit and they're causing clashes with the new Legendary Patch. What do I need to do to get rid of these damned things for good?

Oh yeah I forgot to mention the HUD icons for the grenades were still showing up even though the keys to throw or cycle through throwable weapons weren't working. I tried dropping all my throwable weapons and that made the HUD icons disappear (with the grenade hotkey option enabled), but then when I picked them back up the HUD icons stayed gone.

You hit the nail on the head, I figured that out for myself a few days ago. Disabled a few mods and the bullshit stopped. I'm currently running 131 plugins and its doing fine. Thanks for the reply.

Are you using the 4gb New Vegas mod? http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/35262/? It will allow you to run more mods without running out of memory.

Hey guys, earlier today I noticed that my grenade hotkey for project Nevada had stopped working when I got my head blown off while trying to throw a frag grenade. So I exited the game and reloaded.....still not working. I looked for a fix online, tried turning of the grenade hotkey saving, exiting the game, reloading then reenabling the grenade hotkey....still not working. So I tried all that again, then I dropped all my grenades and what not and then picked them back up.....still not working. Frustrated I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Project Nevada mod, then tried all the methods listed above again.....still not working. I'm all out of ideas at this point, so I've come to you guys for help. Here's my Mod load order..... UPDATE: I've resolved it though I'm not exactly sure how. I downloaded the User Interface Organizer mod in hopes that would take care of whatever incompatibility was going down; but it didn't work. So I took the next natural step of deactivating some of the most recently installed mods as well as some of the less important ones and after getting rid of a few it started working again. Not sure if it was a specific mod or if I just had too many of the damned things active and the game was throwing a fit.

Hey guys I've been having a problem where the dialogue text with NPCs is getting garbled basically all the dialogue options are stacking up on top of each other so you can't select them and once it happens the game hangs up. I've been fiddling with my mods to get it running smoothly (using FNVedit to troubleshoot) disabling mods till textures all load properly, etc...; but I can't figure out what's causing this issue. I'm rather new to modding so any general advice on compatibility and getting the game to run smoothly would be helpful. Here's my load order.....
