  1. Try out this one (Version 2) ;) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/78828/?
  2. It turned out, after three years, that YES is is possible. Yesterday I have resolved all the visual bugs associated with Grimoas Vampire Lord models :)
  3. Hello everyone, I encountered a major problem with my game today. I cannot seem to run my last saves although they were fine until I exited the game and tried to then load them  Getting a CTD after a couple of seconds in the loading screen  I did not uninstall any mods, installed all of them before playing and did not update any of them (no available updates). I enclose my log (created upon trying to load the save) below:
  4. Hey rickred12, I have gathered some of the most useful methods and applications for improving your Skyrim FPS. Check out my original Steam post here: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3097857 Good luck
  5. Hello everyone, The above question has been haunting me for ages. There are so many great Vampire Lord mods out there, including numerous upgrades, overhauls, as well as new models for the wings, all of which make the Vampire Lord an even more intimidating character: http://i.imgur.com/O1i4S.jpg Unfortunately, using remodelling mods like Grimoas Vampire Lord (Nexus) or Akavir's Vampire Lord Wings (Steam) share the same set of annoying disadvantages. Using either of mods prevents the Vampire Lord from dematerialising when using the Bats power (the creature just leaps forward and turns black for the duration of the spell) and Mist Form (Vampire Lord is still fully visible). Note: Retextures and mods that only increase the size of vanilla wings are free from those bugs. There are some mods that attempt to fix the problem but not without making the bats from the Night Cloak completely invisible when using the powers. Is there any way to completely fix or avoid the above mentioned bugs while still being able to enjoy new wings mods? Cheers and Thanks, Al99
  6. The reasons for which I like Belua Sanguinare Revisited over Better Vampires are as follows: - number of customization console options - the sheer number of gameplay strategies it creates (different vampiric spells for different occasions) - being very faithful to the general vampire lore (not necessarily Skyrim lore) - harvesting hearts from the recently killed foes, crafting preservation jars to keep the hearts for later - compatibility with mods like Heart Breaker, allowing the hearts to be ripped out from the still living enemies as in the below video: - not to mention the cool sun burning animations:
  7. Hi there, Try using this Fix. It may lower the amount of crashes that you experience. Also, posting your Papyrus Log would also be helpful ;)
  8. It would be nice to see an alternate post-transformation animation :) Most of the available Vampire Lord animations can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OC92SMaiagI
  9. Funny thing but, after I installed this fix I didn't have a single CTD so far. So thanks Steve ;)
  10. @Bizzquik I also had to put both files into the new "scripts" folder to install thef fix with the manager, so that the correct path would be: Data\scripts\source LvlPredatorScript.pex goes into the "scripts" folder and "LvlPredatorScript.psc" into the "source" folder. In this way, lvlpredator script errors vanished from my Papyrus Logs. I SO hope this fix for this annoying vanilla script will also deal with my CTDs...
  11. I had similar crashes but also didn't know the cause... Do you thing the lvlpredatorscript error could be harmful?
  12. Hi guys and gals, I have recently began a new playthrough (around level 20 now) with a clean-installed Skyrim (v.1.8). Since I know that there no such thing as a truly "clean save" in Skyrim I decided to add only mods that I am going to stick to till the rest of my gameplay, trying to limit uninstalling to minimum, keeping my saves as clean as possible. The game runs great on Ultra. I had a couple of CTDs but usually only after long hours of gameplay. Just in case, I run Papyrus Log and, to my surprise there were some referenced there to non-existing mods. Now, let me get this straight; I am not talking about mods that were uninstalled but ones that have never been installed in this playthrough. All the mods from my previous session were uninstalled via NMM; my old saves and the game folder itself was also deleted. However, Pegasus log still refers to mods like Belua Sanguinare Revisited and Immersive Armors (hothtrooper .esp file). What could be the cause of the references still showing up in the log? Can these references be harmful to my game? Below I include my Load Order and the Log itself (not too much reading). Thanks in advance, Al99
  13. Hello everyone, Are there any chances for a mod that would restore or enable the player to restore the Volkihar Castle passage when siding with Dawnguard? Have a nice day and thanks for reading, Al99
  14. Hi everyone, Would it be possible for anyone to create a mod that would place the Bloodstone Chalice (strongest version) in the Fort? I really like the Dawnguard questline and the chalice is the only thing missing if I decide to become a Vampire Lord at the end of the Dawnguard questline. Thanks in advance and have a nice day ^_^
  15. Hi everyone, I have just began playing the DLC and heard about werewolf quests. Are there any quests for vampires in the DLC? Cheers and thanks
  16. Vampire Lord wings by Grimoa are huge and using them along with Akavir's 25% Larger Wings makes them look almost ridiculously impressive. Personally I prefer Grimoa's mod, although Akavir claw-wings also have their unique charm: http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/images/1476113-1356308634.jpg Unfortunately, both mods (Grimoas Vampire Lord and Akavir's Vampire Lord Wings) share the same set of basically two disadvantages: 1. Using either of mods prevents the Vampire Lord from dematerialising when using the Bats power (the creature just leaps forward and turns black for the duration of the spell) 2. If you use Belua Sanguinare Revisited mod, then activating a heavily weakened NPC ('Last man standing' pose) as a Vampire Lord, allows you to perform Power Bite and thus further develop your Belua Vampire, however, using any Vampire Lord mesh replacer (even "Retexture Vampire Lord") causes a Crash to Desktop just as the Feed Attack animation ends
  17. Howling bug has been fixed :) http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/22614
  18. I had the same minor bug with Ria from the Companions who called me that way. Despite that I'm still playing the DLC quite bug-free. The only two major ones I had were: 1. Serana stuck seemingly forever in the Broken Oar Grotto (however, that's a bug with the location itself, easily fixable by the use of "moveto player" command) 2. Regular in the wild, as well as werewolf-summoned wolves don't howl anymore. They do the proper animation but have no howling sound. Caused directly by either Dawnguard .bsa or .esm files. Removing those added the howling back which suggests that's the direct result of installing Dawnguard.
  19. Well, I'm still not a Vampire Lord. As I said: Currently I'm working for the Dawnguard as a werewolf. I rejected Harkon's gift when he offered it to me and did the same when Serana gave me this option to get to Soul Cairn. After I finish Dawnguard faction storyline, I will start again but this time I will accept Harkon's gift so I wanted to know if the rings and amulets are really worth it. I've had doubts as I really like Crossbows with all the enhanced bolts that Dawnguard members taught me to make. I think that I will finish Vampire quests and get all the amulets and both rings, then return to the save state where I completed Dawnguard faction, then accept Serana's offer (if it's possible for me to ask her about it again at all) and then get the four items back by the use of console commands (well, much as I hate console commands, technically speaking that won't be cheating as I will fight my way to these items when playing on the Vampire faction side), thus getting all Crossbow schematics, the ability to create enhanced explosive/ice/shock bolts AND nearly all Vampire Lord enhancements. Best of both worlds :) Thanks for the reply cycloney911. Kudos given. If anyone wants to comment on the Vampire Rings and Amulets, they are very much welcome to do so :) Cheers
  20. Hi everyone, I began playing Dawnguard from the Vampire Hunter's perspective and and I'm enjoying it immensly. I am still going to play the DLC on the Vampires' side and then decide which path I will ultimately choose for the rest of the game but I had a question. Along the way I had at least two quest-based opportunities to become the Vampire Lord and there will probably be one more occasion to do it but I'm still postponing this moment. I wanted to ask you guys about vampire items (Rings of Blood Magic etc.) I lose when not becoming a vampire at the end of Bloodline. Will my Vampire Lord be substantially weaker if I become vampire when playing on the Dawnguard side (ie. without the unique items/rings/amulets)? Cheers, Al99
