My Skyrim launcher will not start. I run the game from steam and the preparing to launch message comes up, but steam freezes and after a few minutes closes. This started a few days ago when the high res pack came out, However I was able to play after I installed the pack, it was only when I subscribed to mods from the workshop that this bug happened. I've verified my game cache, did a re-install, uninstalled all my mods and tried almost everything else the internet recommended. I am at my wits end, so any help would be appreciated.

I am getting skyrim tomorrow, and was wondering if there is an option to use an xbox controller, like in Fallout 3 and New Vegas. The internet cant seem to give me a straight answer. Thanks in advance!

I am new to modding and i have been working on a mod that is a ruined vault but whenever i try to save my mod it gives me an error that says i cannot save it to the original file because it is active. Does anyone know how to fix this?
