  1. Railings seem to be a common theme, I had to fix them in New Vegas at the NCRCF (Guard towers). Workin on it!
  2. Yup, doing the old "Waiting for F4SE to Update" thing now........... I have fallout set to update only on launch, and when I ran F4SE it did not update, or even prompt me to update :)
  3. I'll see if I can do anything about those issues. I did find a spot that I should have been able to shoot through, but couldn't... The building in the Evans Cul-De-Sac has broken out windows, but I tried to snipe someone and hit non-existent glass instead. That kinda stuff drives me crazy.
  4. I had created a small mod in new vegas that fixed some funky navmeshes, specifically the NCRCF guard towers (not being able to shoot through seemingly empty space). I was curious if anyone has found stuff like that which needs fixed in fallout 4... If there is any interest I would try fixing it for fallout 4. Haven't run into anything so far in fallout 4 myself yet! thanks! hyper1on
  5. @urbex Thanks for the endorsement. Less vertices and faces in the 3d model would lessen the amount of cpu power required, but there are some places where it gets really irritating. As to a pack for fixing some of the more irritating "non shoot through" places, I'm going to be updating my mod as I find places. I figure that some people might also suggest some places for me to check into, and as long as the models aren't too complicated I can try to modify them. I've only been using blender / nifskope / GECK for about 48 hours ;) My guess would be when management puts pressure on the devs to get something out on time, shortcuts have to be taken. It's not like I was fixing something game-breaking, just annoyances. Although not being able to shoot next to a rock (or a foot away) is pretty annoying. Makes me waste my ammo! Reply here, or on the file page if you have an area or model you would like to see included. I think the next one I'll be working on is the burnt out car with no front doors.   6. I redid some parts of the guard tower mesh, specifically the collision detection so that you can actually shoot under the hand rail at the top of the tower. I'd really like someone else to try it out and see if it works on someone else's system. That, and make sure I did everything right. My plan is to redo more collision meshes, as I find the ones that irritate me in game. One example would be, not being able to shoot through a burnt out car with no front doors.   7. I think I might have figured out what the problem is... After I export the file from Blender, the nodes in nifskope are arranged differently and have different values. Such as, the first node is called NiNode (instead of BSFadeNode as per the original file) It has got to be with my import / export settings in blender... I'll be messing with those for a little while I think. To be continued...

  9. Hello everyone, I apologize if this is covered somewhere else, but I've been at this all day and I'm getting a little frustrated... I've redone the NCR Guard tower file, is the guard towers in the NCR correctional facility. I was modifying the collision detection (since you can't shoot through the rails). I have not figured out how to make this file into an ESP, or how I go about getting it into the game. I tried the archiveinvalidation method, and it might have worked? but the problem is i get the red exclamation box. Any suggestions, or links to an article that could help me out? Thanks. Hyper1on
