  1. Thanks for the reply.. Is there any mods that make it so that when you kill a mob with a bow from hiding in a dark spot, the others wont know exactly where I am?
  2. Hey. I installed Oblivion again a couple of days ago. First I tried a mod compilation, but it kinda screwed up the speed of npc's/mob's. Then I did a complete reinstall with Shivering Isles + patch and all DLC's including Fighters Stronghold. I followed FCOM guide. Everything seemed to be working after I finished the guide. I've added a couple of extra mods afterwards and all seem ok so far. My question is: Is there any other mods I should install before I start my playthrough, other than the ones I have now? Here is my load order:
  3. It's has nothing to do with my FPS. It's the same no matter what it is. But I know what you mean. I remember I had that problem way back when Oblivion was released and I tried to tweak it through the .ini file. Anyways, I decided to drop that compilation and add mods manually myself.
  4. I just found out about BSA redirection through Wrye Bash and I got the textures to work without archive invalidation. There is however a ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated!.bsa file in my data folder, but it's only 3kb. They are telling me in the chat room that I need to use "ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated!" Anyway else my install will corrupt sooner or later. Is this true? Here is a link explaining it: http://devnull.sweetdanger.net/archiveinvalidation.html
  5. No, is that necessary with texture files? I thought it was only needed with ESP and ESM files.
  6. Hey. Is there a way to use Wrye Bash to install texture mods like QTP3 and such? I can't figure out how to make it work. I extracted the files, packed them into a 7zip file and moved it into the "Bash Installers" folder. Then I installed it through Wrye Bash, but with no effect to the textures ingame.
  7. I did provide a mod list. :) Anyway, I guess I just have to figure it out then.
  8. It's never a good idea to use compilations, as you have found out. Compatibility is just one of the reasons that they are not allowed on the Nexus. That may be true, and that's why I didn't link to it. Nevertheless, if anyone have any ideas what mod can be causing this, I'd appreciate the help.
  9. I installed a mod compilation I found on another forum. I had no mods installed before as I recently installed Oblivion again to go through it one more time before Skyrim is out. Everything seems to be working fine so far except for the fast moving NPC's. Here is the list of mods. It's extensive.
  10. Hey. I've installed a lot of mods for Oblivion and I got a problem. I have no idea what mod is causing this, but all NPC's/creatures in the game is moving at least 3-4 times the normal speed. They attack faster also. Any ideas what mod can be causing this?
