  1. i can't help thinking that the combined cuirass/greaves is going to severely limit the customization of clothing. hopefully it will be as mod-friendly as oblivion.
  2. the horns were separate from the hairstyle, and albeit though a bit annoying with some items, they stay on when the character puts on a helmet or hood or related. theuseless: those resources look like they will be quite helpful. do you know if there are any tutorial type resources that tell me how I would, via construction set, go about permanently adding the claws/horns to my race?
  3. Anyway, hi. I'm trying to customize my custom race. I can add hair/eyes and select meshes/textures and create custom abilities for the race, etc. That's not a problem. I want a race that has horns and claws but a humanoid head and etc. I have no idea how to add horns and claws to my race as a default state, but I know that it can be done. One race that has this is the Churai race. I see in the folders, the textures for the horns and the claws. I don't see the meshes, however, and I don't see how, by using the Construction Set that these things are added. I know that the horns and tail are removed when using an item taking up the tail slot, but I'm pretty certain the tail mesh does not contain the horn mesh and I know that they use separate texture files. The claws in case of the Churai race are on the hands and feet and stay on all the time, even with shoes/gloves, as can be seen in this picture. I did do google searching, and I did read through numerous tutorials trying to find this information. Any help would be very much appreciated.
  4. I just didn't understand how one leg could match so well, and how the other wouldn't, etc. I will do a texture version with blocks of solid colours, then and hopefully figure it out. Thanks for your help :)
  5. So, you don't know me, because I'm not social, but I could do with and would appreciate muchly, some assistance. I'm not a total "noob" at texturing, and I've done skinblends for the sims 2 for years, so I have a bit of experience with related. I wanted to retexture the skins of the female raiders, because well....I dunno. They needed to be more grunged up and messy. So, I went about retexturing and blah blah with the adding of grunge and a bit of blood, and in game it was a mess (and not in the way I wanted). I put it on my pc, and DID try to be aware of seams for matching up purposes, but it didn't seem to help at all. (Please apologize the unintended pun!) Also, the wounds that I added, appeared ...muted? in game. Is this something I have to add to the normal map, or? And, could I edit the normal map by doing a screened layer of purple flood-fill? I spent a good fair bit of time working on this, and would really like it to work. Any help would be appreciated.
