  1. Just like Fallout 4, godrays in this engine suck frankly. they fixed every performance issue with the original game such as cities and everywhere else. But having godrays on high, somehow in certain wooded areas my fps tanks down to 52. When i set them to low "like Fallout 4", the fps jumps to constant 60.

TLDR: Set godrays to low to never have performance fluctuations in Skyrim SE.

  2. Hi folks, well this is embarrassing it seems i suck with Nifskope and anything involving .DDS files. And i need a Steamer Trunk retexture for my Minutemen Supply Caches mod, to really flush it out.

Could anyone do me one?, just blue tones and the minutemen symbol will do fine. All credit will be given on the mod page and in description to anyone who is kind enough to offer this request to me :). PM me your results of your willingness. Thanks all.

My mod in its current state : http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/12315/?

  3. @TeamBacon, So nothing gives you inspiration?. If you were an aspiring artist, and you saw Da Vinci's work and was inspired by the way he used his paints "which there are many ways and many types, much like modding and mods", to make your own creations?, yes i think my statement does make sense, and i am sorry if i have offended you in some manner as even your first post was very uneasy, bad day at the office?.

  4. I was not talking porting over mods in the literal sense, but certain things like mod scripts much like the way all previous games used the .esp and .esm format for mods. Again i should of clarified that, and to the response of it does not have to be those modders, you are very correct. But mods in place before hand, even back to Oblivion, had and gave people some inspirations to do there own thing.

  5. Hi everyone, i have been wondering a long time whether anyone has had any contact from popular modders?.

I ask this because i would really like to see some returning mods from Skyrim over to Fallout 4(not in the literal sense), I am of course talking about mods such like:

.Alternative Start Mod - Live Another Life - Being able to develop a better character frame and be led into the main quest as an uncle/aunt instead of a family man/lawyer perhaps.

.Vurts Flora Overhaul - A redo of the landscape of Boston, trees/grass/grass types/fauna/flora you name it. Instead of the "can only do so much without G.E.C.K" grass mods that are currently out.

.NPC/Monster overhauls - An example of this could be Immersive Creatures Skyrim and Organized Bandits Skyrim, adding some well needed differences in each creature in the wasteland so that you never know what you might end up fighting. Not over the top, but as an example - Organized Raiders of Boston (adds over #number of different types of bandits to the boston wasteland, each with there own territory and needs). Just like what Bethesda did with the new DLC Automatron Robot Raiders.

.Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch Series - I am hoping the developers are already working/planning this one out.

These are just a few examples, i know a very good weather mod is out already (True Storms) so "thumbs up" from me, but yeah please leave your posts and even suggestions, as i will be keeping up to date with this as best i can . Thanks everyone.

  6. Problem - Hair Transparency issue, need a fix badly.

    http://puu.sh/nVEie/fec02b7442.jpg

Note elf hair style also affects other elf races that can use the maine type hairstyle.

I have tried most fixes, Fresh installed Skyrim, verified files, tried the nvidea trick of lowering or turning off transparency AA and normal AA to 4x. Sorted with LOOT, uninstalled both hair mods, both with the same issue once uninstalled. Heard about it something to do with Alternative Start mod that glitches out the hair, but no detailed information on that. Im at a loss here :(. Been modding for years and never noticed this bug, now that i have, i want it gone!.

    My PC:

    -Palit GTX970 4GB

-8GB DDR3 Corsair Vengeance RAM running at 1886mhz

-Core I5 4690k 3.50ghz stock, with stock cooler. <before you ask, no overheating issues found on all hardware.

    -Windows 10 64bit Pro

    -LG 60hz Monitor Flatron

-120GB SSD running Skyrim, AMD Radeon R7

    -2TB Barracuda Hard drive

  7. I might be the only one wanting this mod to come out, but this game seriously needs an extra oomph to random loot drops and tiered armor and weapons.

If at all any of this is possible in the SDK then please let me know, i will glady work on this myself and learn the SDK if no one else decides to make this mod, and lets begin.

1--- On missions, with a percentage based on which mission you do "10% chance to drop legendary attachment in hostage rescue" to "30-40% chance to drop legendary item in disrupt supply line mission" will the items drop for you, this of course will be changed for balancing reasons if the prefixes for the legendary items becomes to overpowered earlier on... or not, who knows.

2--- When the legendary attachment or item drops from either a mission or experimental projects in the Proving Grounds, the square box around the item "in missions" should glow a different colour and tell you (something powerful and rare just dropped!), and in the Proving Ground, the pop up should be coloured differently (Say.. golden yellow colour?) to tell you you made a cool discovery!.

3--- Some prefixes include but not limited to:

-Custom set of armor (basic/plate/exo ect) with custom decals on it + battlescars what have you, with a limited description of who it once belonged to, and an example prefix of (gives the wearer +2 more health over standard armor currently worn).

-Custom attachment (All weapons) with custom decals + battlescars depending on item shown with a limited description again such as "Whoever made this scope sure knew how to shoot!", and a example prefix of (Gives the weapon attached to the ability Steady Hands)

Major note! the items given, apart from grenades and or utility items will be a one item use, so if you attach the legendary scope to a sniper rifle, you cannot use it again (unless another mod was installed that allowed attachments to be carried over from previous tiers). And armours dropped will only be aloud to be equipped on one soldier at a time, like exo suits ect ect.

  8. I am currently going to play through Skyrim again on tuesday, and i need a enb that will suit Climates of Tamriel but isnt over the top.

Does anyone know one that would suit my catagory without ruining the "organic" and less saturated feel you get from the vanilla experience with COT installed?.

Im all for depth of field, as long as its a subtle static depth of field in the distant mountains and not in my face everytime i look at a tree, if you get me .

Do not recommend Project ENB or Realvision as they change too much of the saturation and feel of skyrim for me to enjoy. :)

  10. I have some money to spare and i need help on getting 60fps anywhere in skyrim, like Gopher in his videos.

My current system which achieves 43-55fps outdoors and then 34fps looking at Riverwood and 22fps looking at Whiterun main area looking from Dragonsreach.

    AMD FX6200 @ 4GHZ - ASUS 7950 CUII OC - 12GB DDR3 1333MHZ - CoolerMaster - Siedon 120M Pro - Zalman Z11 Plus - Arctic Cooling RAM - LG 24inch LED Monitor - Corsair Vengeance 1500

Running with 2KHD mod, and over 70 other mods, such as footprints and Amidianborn book of silence and so on. Ultra quality, apart from shadows which are at medium

So the question, someone please give me a good way to upgrade my system to enable the full potential of running skyrim (with mods) so that i can play at 60fps or at a state were it becomes smooth and non degrading for my eyes (example, getting annoyed when the game drops to 20 odd fps when in solitude and whiterun). :)

  13. So i was wondering, i have done a TON of map work in the creation kit and released a lot of famous and well put together mods.

I wanted to let employers know of my hobby but i have a question.

Would it be ok to add that im a map modder for the creation kit and that i have experience in it. Does that count as a certificate of approval in the job market for my CV?

    thanks
