Thing is with that theory is I have watched youtube videos of other peoples playthroughs and the same thing happens to them even without mods. Probably just a buggy bethesda game, who would've guessed? Ah, but I've tested the theory on my other bugs. Uninstall mod, no more bug. Yes, there are still bugs in the vanilla, but I don't get why everyone and their grandmother now repeats the same line about Beth games always being buggy. For example, I remember playing Mass Effect 2 through a linear mission without exploration and still getting my character stuck in places, unable to move, and having to reload the game, yet no one went around saying how buggy it was. Maybe I've just been really unlucky with other games and really lucky with Skyrim. Well I have played the first two mass effect games (cant wait for 3 :D) and they were buggy before patch I will give you that. Thing is after patches that took maybe a couple of months tops it was fixed. Thing that I have noticed about bethseda is that their initial releases are plauged with possibly game breaking bugs, then they patch it so that its playable and another minor bug appears. Dont get me wrong they end up playable but still with quite a few minor bugs. Star trek legacy, Fallout 3 and Skyrim in one form or another had issues that could ruin the game until its patched. I mean im really glad I didnt get Skyrim on the PS3 :P. Im not hating Bethseda either, I love their games for their sheer scale, in all likeyhood the massive size of their games is probably why bugs appear. I have come to the conclusion that the incident in my op is probably just a vanilla bug that is really minor and not an issue warrenting a patch just confused me a little a first :S
