I would love to try and tinker with the game, however it has a pretty nasty crash bug on PC so I'm going to see if they want to fix that before I go and start modding it.

If you have any mods installed, it could be messing up the damage tables, or the guards might have some unique weapons for some reasons.

I have the little adapter bit, not sure why i cant use both at once. Everything is working though, thanks a lot!

The TV has HDMI In (from the Pioneer Receiver) and im not using my PCs built in graphics, im usinga nVidia graphics card that has SVGA and DVI output, Im using the DVI output. The reason im going from the Reciever to the TV is because I have surrouns speakers. My PC has no HDMI output. When I had set up the TV as a secondary monitor, the game only came up on the first monitor leaving the desktop on the TV. When I had it set to the same screen on both, the TV remained blank (blue)

Its a reap projection Mitsubishi from probably around 2010, im running the HDMI through a Pioneer Receiver big black box thing out to my TV. The output on my graphics card is DVI but I dont know enough to tell you more than that. Again, I can see my desktop and icons and such but when the game starts up, the screen goes blank. It reminds me of when you try to screencapture a DVD off of a PC. Sorry I mistated, its a small DVI adapter plugged into my computer and the HDMI cable is plugged into that.

I lugged over my desktop PC tower and hooked it all up, configured the TV as my primary monitor, but when I run up a game (Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas) the screen goes blue. I can still hear the game fine, but no visual. Anyone got any information?

Ok so I figure the problem is DEFINATLY with the "Gimme your weapons" script. I started using "movetoqt" to get in, but this time on my way out the doorman stopped me and then the shooting stopped. Im willing its got something to do with the option to say "skrew off im keeping my guns" which would trigger them attacking me....

Remember that Victor is not a singular bot but an A.I. that goes from securitron to securitron. I tried talking to him before he reached his post next to the door only to find he had switched back to a normal securitron. Scared the crap outa me actually. That being said what the hell IS Victor? is he part of all the sucuritrons or just the 4 that become him. In that case is it a script problem seeing as it only happens when that particular bot is victor? Anyways my problem is still here. I dont understand they arent mad at me in my current save, standing inside the casino, but if I leave through the front and come back in they go ape on me. Its not liked to the script as I managed to cheat my way past the script and they still shot me. What is going on? Please halp?

GOT ITTTTT! My puppie dog was in there and apparently still defending me up on the upper levels. I turned off their A.I. (TCAI) and pulled the puppy out, then a lil later I came back. This lead to the glitch where you freeze in the door and they wont ask for your weapons but I dont care cause I can enableplayercontrols. YAY! they dont wanna kill me! :3 FFFAAARRRKKKKK!!!! I left and came back in, they asked for my guns again and started shooting me. This makes me think its the script in which they take my stuff that actually sets them off. I dont know though, Kendo what do you think?

That is governed by the Track Crime box in the Faction Window. Open the NV GECK (if it works today) On the toolbar, go to Characters and the drop down will show a list. Click on Factions and find the Faction these Casino yahoos belong to. Uncheck Track Crime. Click okay. Save as an esp and name it whatever. Save again and Exit. Load the esp (if Steam will let you) and play the game. See what happens. Done deal. Thank God for us evil FO3 modders. YYyyyeeesssss I love you I love you im about to try that. I unchecked Gomorrah Prostitues, Omerta Bosses, Omerta Allies, Omerta Faction and Omerta Traitors. I assume just Omerta Faction but.... well they still shootin at me.

Is victor important to the house missions? If not try console killing him. Click on him in console mode and type kill. If he is important try killing and resurrecting him. Sometimes that works on specific people, it doesnt work on factions though... I did killall in the Gamorah's and resurrected a guy, he started shooting.

That fits what happened except the guard was talking about how I killed Benny like a year ago >.> and the door was just an express elevator. It just takes you from the suites to the main floor, theres nothing secret where it comes out. I cant go back now cause ive done a few hours of missions... There has to be a variable set that shows that the Gamorah sub-faction is hostile towards me. No one else on the strip. Does anyone know how to find a complete list of console commands? I bet theres one to reset the gamorah's hostility.

Thats fantastic but... Ive already over-won at the Tops and the Gammorah... Ill try the little classy place and ill try to find some more missions I suppose. I think all I can do now is take pictures for Micheal though.

The censorship is the same for a lot of companies though. Hell ive been struggeling with it on IMVU for some time now. Its like this: Yes we have the right to say what we wanna say, but they also have the right to take it off of THEIR message board. As for Beth vs Obsidian... I had a nightmare when i got fallout 3, it was a year after release and I had a bug that made completing the game IMPOSSIBLE (couldnt enter the Jefferson Memorial Gift shop from any door, even after reloading, loading an earlier save, erasing all data and starting again and getting a new disc) And that was on 360 so I couldnt hack my way past it or fix it. What made me even more mad was, that rather than PATCHING the bugs that made the game completely unbeatable, they were throwing out DLC after DLC. Cause people dont pay more money for patches! That being said I even tried to start a boycott of Bethsoft until they started supporting their games. As of yet I havnt heard if they have done that, so I still refuse to buy a Bethsoft game. When I heard FNV was being made by Obsidian, I was phyced. I dont intend on buying another Bethgame ever. Now in comparison, FNV is far from perfect, but its far from ANY other game thats come out as of recent as well. The dog eyes freaked me out but they patched it WITHIN A WEEK. Other issues have arisen that have bothered me but so far nothing game-breaking. And im impressed that they are actually working hard to fix the problems that are there. So Kudos to Obsidian. You won a customer.

Ok serious now does anyone have ANYTHING? A console code that will reset them or whatever I dont care. I have missions to complete in there! I cant believe my whole save is screwed up now cause I accidentally clicked on a red DOOR. I didnt even get through! Please, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sure seems that way. A-holes. But no, I just dont understand why they are hostile towards me. I am going to try doing some missions in the Strip and see if raising my overall reputation helps.

So remember in Megaton when you would steal something, the entire town would decide you were a terrorist and tear you to bits? Apparently i accidentally tried to go through a door in Gamorah and now the entire Casino wants me dead. I left and came back a few days later but they STILL SHOOT ME right after the entrance guy politely asks me for my guns! This is crap! How do I make them NOT try to kill me?

So my friend tried out the game today, started his own save file and only played for a good 30 minutes. The problem is, every time I click continue, it brings up his autosave. It doesnt matter if its a normal save or autosave that is the last save on the list, it brings up the same autosave. And I have deleted every save file with his name on it! As it is I lost like an hour of play because the game crashed and when i went to continue I was standing in the first town with a golf club under Alex's save. And the killer is when I go to my save files, the autosave I have is overwritten by his again and again. So until theres a fix, ill just stay the HELL away from autosaves (I dont rely on them anyhow) And ill try and find wherever saves are on my hard disk and delete it manually...

So, remember how certain mods disabled Windows Live in F03? Is there any way to do that with Steam so that we can install on multiple PCs? I like to mod on my PC and keep the game unmodded on my lappy, but because the game registers with Steam, I cant do that. I understand its a piracy thing, but im not trying to steal anything really. Ideally they should have licenced it for 3 computers, although we all know people would just hand it to their friends. Still, any one working on this?

I didnt install Borderlands to the F3 folder if thats what you meant, however i am one of those dumb people who installed to the program files folder instead of directly to C. Im only running XP Media Center Edition. And I dont have Oblivion (got sick of dungeons and dragons along time ago, all I can tolerate is Legend of Zelda) I dont care about my saves because its only about 15 minutes into the game. Im pretty sure that the termy mod issue is linked to my save because I reinstalled the file for it and nothing changed, so a new game might fix it, what I really dont get is the pip-boy retexture. I mean if I didnt have ArchiveInvalidationInvalidateded then this might make some sense, but it really shouldnt be doing this... ill try a new game and if not just reinstall to C:
