Yeh from what I understand Jericho will fallow you if your karma is on the lower side and fawkes will follow you of your karma is a little more on the good side....idk

Personally I was pretty psyched the first time the talon company mercs showed up. Thy put up a decent fight which was good. Also, it was realistic because if there were mercs tracking me down they would def surprise me. Where's the fun in knowng exactly when and where all the action is gonna go down in a game? Also I think the limited ammo is in keeping with the theme of the game. It's not a nice ordered world where you're guaranteed to make it. Everythings blown to hell and there's shortages of just about everything. There's a lot of unknown and nothing is certain about te future. Hence you have to adapt and survive. Idk, just my 2 cents.

Haha yeah def only works inside. If I'm in the wastes I bring a sniper rifle with me. When I get to a high point I stop and scope in and checkout the path to the next high point. The point is usually to avoid combat if I can. I find that killing random creatures in the wastes gives little xp and takes valuable ammo. So, it's more of an avoid combat tactic than a combat tactic. lol if I can't avoid I soften em up with the sniper rifle then finish em with an assault rifle.

Yes, fatman'ing paradise falls would make my day. I dread that part of the game every time i play through it. lol Gatling laser is actually a good call, I usually have ammo problems with it though. I cant really help ya with the hair. I never choose a specific hair type because I always wear a balaclava or the eyebot helmet, always. lol

I get their attention and then lure em around a corner where I either blow their head off or set a mine (bottlecap mine for the tough ones) or both. The key usually is spotting them before they spot you. Doesnt always work that way though.

When I hear "build" I immediately think back to hours and hours perfect my barbarian build in diablo 2...good times.
Anyway, I like the second one better personally. I woul change the big guns to small guns. The big guns never seem to be realistic or effective. 5.56 and 10mm with an occasional .308 is more than enough to rid the wasteland of pretty much any living thing, except maybe a behemoth. lol
Btw the name "Brick" and the makeup of the character wouldnt happen to be a shoutout to the the character in borderlands would it?

I like to switch between both as well. I find that the crosshair is way off in 3rd person so combat is a no no.

Awesome thanks! Now I can really appreciate the awesomeness of my eyebot helmet that I wear religiously. haha

Well, I had the windows live problem that almost everybody had. lol
Then I had this strange problem with the AA. Whenever I had full AA on (can't remember if it's 16x or 8x) the game would run for 5-10 minutes and then when I used the vats it would get super laggy and all the percentages would be 0 then the game would crash about 30 seconds later. Anyway, figured out through trial and error that if I kept the AA to like 4x it would run just as smooth and there would be no crashing...

Jill valentine....wow! lol
And Crono from Chrono Trigger.
It's really hard though to pick favorites...

What are the names of the animation mods for third person? Ive always used first person because of the awful animations, that and I can get sucked into the whole world around me better if Im in first person.
-
yeah I hear ya, youre better off for it though. The next version of Windows will probably require right around 16 gigs. lol j/k
-
I'v actually done the same recently, however my new MSI P55A-G55 SLI CrossFireX Motherboard and Intel Core i5 760 Quad Core Processor and 16gigs of ram are in the mail. Should be here Friday and im SOO psyched to make a new file and run through this game with EVERYTHING maxed and NO latency or lag issues.
Son of a beesting! Am I behind the times or does 16 gigs sound like a lot o' ram? You could probably make a ram drive outta that baby and install FO3 right on it. lol Now as soon as your comp loses power youre screwed, but hey, would be fun to say ya did it. lol

You should def go through the main quest. There are a few moments of true epic-ness that you dont wanna miss. Especially if you have the Broken Steel dlc. Personally I do prefer the "light up the room and kill em all" tactic but Ive also played through counting bullets and conserving everything kind of Resident Evil style and it was a blast also. As far as the s.p.e.c.i.a.l. goes I wanna try a playthrough with no Luck. That would be interesting. I usually OD on the luck cause I think it helps out a lot, especially with my fav perk, mysterious stranger. :D
Or, if you havent played through killin all the good guys and racking up massive amounts of bad karma, thats always fun.
-
The mysterious stranger perk..I love it when he shows up. Especially when he shows up to finish off a bloatfly for me. lol
Not gonna lie though, he's saved my rear more than once and it always entertaining to see him do his thing.

Ill probably never truly move on. I may play New Vegas this Christmas break but I will come back to 3.
-
Dont know if this has been mentioned yet but...
Tony Hawk pro skater 2 has by far, the best soundtrack everrrrrrr.....
Fallout 3 is top notch also albeit rather repetitive.

Grenade launcher would be nice! I'd like to see a sniper rifle that actually shoots long distance unlike the crappy one in the game already. Also, maybe a laser version of the sniper rifle if there isn't one already. I'd really like to see a mk19 like weapon somewhere. I don't really know where it would fit as it's not really a gun you can carry around. Unless maybe it required power armor to operate. Idk

Mayb for the whole space problem you could take some shops or houses, firing range or even the jail and stick them underground. Don't know if this is possible but I think the side of the crater would make a nice little place for a tunnel/mine shaft thing. The people hanging sounds pretty sweet. Goes along well with the wildwest/wasteland look. The lights at night are awesome. I'm so tired of stumbling around megaton at night with that stupid little pipboy light. lol ...and Moira acts like she's hopped up on something all the time. But anyway, sounds like a good mod.

Nice, I haven't been around long enough so I missed your boats and stuff but sounds like a sharp idea. I agree with the whole "no enough water" thing. For the boats to really be effective I would think there would need to be some offshore areas to explore. Maybe some oil rig like structures since I doubt a real oil rig would fit the time period. Maybe some half-sunk abadoned battle ships. I think it would be pretty sweet to see a .50 cal mounted to one of those smaller boats. Could be laser also. This all just talk though because I don't have the first clue how to do any of this. Soooo, that's my two cents, maybe one cent....

Anyone Play This on PSN?

Fairly new to the game but not the series. I spend 95% of my time with the recon or medic classes.
