While there are many objections I have to an MMO in general, my main objection would be the dilution of the story depth for an individual. Once anything becomes MMO is invariably suffers the two downfalls; Evercrack's gotta collect it all equipment hunting/quest tick sheet and World of Warcraft's let's all get together and roll play, cause a quest shared with others is better! The interplay between people may be captivating for some people, but I don't really wanna play with others it ruins my quick escapes and complicates things needlessly. I sincerely hope the fallout of all of this is: if an MMO does emerge Bethesda or Obsidian or both can make independently or concurrently more stand alone RPGs.
