At the start of the tutorial, the author says: "If you want your follower(s) to initiate scene dialog, you will need to insure that their follower package has the dialog scene checkbox enabled."

However, I cant find this "dialog scene checkbox" in the AI follower package. Its not in the flags tab, nor in the public package tab. And if I try to edit the sandbox is not there either.

I have exactly the same problem, did you find a solution?

ps. my scene starts, the NPCs are walking to each other but dont start to talk

  2. Hello fellow modders,

i wonder if you cold help me out with a problem.

I use a customnordrace (from customraces) for my favorite follower Lumi.

I managed to gave her a special Bodyshape which only applies to this race and this works fine.

The Problem is the Werewolf transformation.

She can transform into a special werewolf-bodyshape but she didn't transform back to her human-form.

But what i really want to achieve is a special Werewolf transformation for this race.

Since this Race is a half minotaur, i thought it would be nice gave it a Minotaur werecreature-form.

I managed to build a female minotaur based on the mihailminotaurrace the torso is a normal female hipolytorso, which uses the normal female Skeleton.

The headmesh and neck and the difuse maps are modified from the Mihailminotaurs, legs are from the succubus-legs.

When i do the "normal" werewolf-transformation i get a deformed creature (since of the other werewolfskeleton).

What i need is a special werecreaturescript for transforming a customrace to its wereform and back to its "human"-form.

  3. Hello Old Hand

i know this Post is !old" but i want to answer just in case you haven't found a solution yet.

    It's actually quite simple:

1.Create armor addons for your custom-beast parts.

    2. Edit the skin-naked armor (where you add the torso, hands and feet AA) of your custom character and add these parts, now your npc has it's own werewolf-form.

  4. Hi folks,

i'm playing Skyrim for a long time now and used lots of different Mods to change the bodies of the npcs and pcs but i'm missing one thing:

A detailmap for the body itself.

I'm planning to make a mod which gives (especially the female body) a certain age similar to the face detailmaps.

The younger NPCs schould be in their 20s, NPCs with small kids in the 30s and those with grown-ups in the 40s or 50s, everyone above belongs to the elder race.

I used the face details from the mature skin to make a less wrinkly skin for the 30-something old females this works well.

Then i build a complexion for the body from the elder-race normalmap but this didn't show up for the body.

The only thing that works, is the direct blending of the detail-map with a the difuse map to build a new one.. but this will lead to three aditional difuse-maps per race and it will be not as easy to replace the standard difuse map.

    Can anybody help me out?

    Thanks a lot

  5. Forgive me if this is the wrong place to post... And move the post, of course...

I'm looking for a bit of help with detail maps. I can see how they are used to generate older and freckled NPCs, but I was hoping to make better use of them for custom bodies and faces.

For instance, a body detail map of moles that can be added as a variant, rather than editing in multiple full skin textures.

Or scars... Or hair... Or tanlines... You get the idea.

So I take two skin texture files, one with moles, the other without, but otherwise identical, and load them into GIMP as layers in a new image.

I delete the Mipmaps from the two files, so I have two single layers, one from each file.

I use a difference script to generate a new layer, based on the difference between the two texture files. I then invert the colors on this difference map, so I have white moles on a black background.

This new layer, however, is much more akin to the tintmasks used for warpaint, dirt, etc, rather than the detail maps used for complexion. It has no discernable effect when added to the default skin resource in the Creation Kit.

Is it possible, and how would I easily modify this "tintmask" file to serve as a detail map on a full body? Are there steps that need be done in the Creation Kit beyond adding the detail map so that the detail will display on in-game models?

    Thank you for your help!

I'm looking for those textures too.

    Did you found something?
