The "magical" part might happen when you take your trip. :D Congratulations again! Hopefully your summer's going to be as undemanding and stress-free as possible. I'll bet someone in my graduating class had trouble keeping their cap on, or had some other mishap, but I sure don't remember. Frankly, I don't even remember who my class keynote speakers were ... or valedictorian and salutatorian, for that matter. Well, I *think* I remember the valedictorian, but can...

... can't be certain. Either we take all that as a good sign (that no one but you and those who love you will remember your cap falling off), or we take it as a sign that my memory really sucks! XD

Nobody is going to remember your hat fell off. That's trivial. I have to remind myself that other people probably don't remember the trivial things I recall, and that it's all in my head.

My high school - now that I think about it - did not have a formal valedictorian for my class. There was class rank, but that was private information.
