I didn't; they're illegal in many parts of King County, WA. We're in Kirkland, one city where they're banned - http://www.kingcounty.gov/property/FireMarshal/fireworks.aspx

I miss being able to do that, but I understand about the fire hazard and won't break the law. Some folks get away with setting them off anyway, and some caused about $1.5 million in damages last night (sixth paragraph) - http://xfinity.comcast.net/articles/news-national/20130705/US--Fireworks....
