Such is humanity. Part of being human, I think, is realizing that we all have fallacies and that we can never be perfect. One of my friends told me once that a Utopia will one day be possible. Although I'm not as pessimistic as I used to be, I told her such a thing is impossible. She's too optimistic; certain things about people never change, and the problems we face today are the same that we will be dealing with until our final days as a species. World peace is possible (in the sens...

(in the sense of no wars and some kind of stability), but a Utopia is not. All we can hope for, in this regard, is to get as close to nowhere as possible, which is ironic since that's exactly where this world is headed.

I can talk about the problems with Australian policy and law but at least we can fix it eventually in constrast to the huge mess in D.C. Nothing compares to that
