Funnily enough, I'd like cat's. Cat's are easily as lethal as dogs, if not more so, as they work with 4 sets of switchblades compared to a single mouth full of rather bluntish teeth that rely on compression to cause injury. As a companion they'd be cool. Anyone lacking a warped sense of humour should ignore the rest of this post & move on ;) However the real killer method would be to equip them as weapons in a manner similar to a grenade; yank the tail to arm; then throw at the opponant's face. This would rate the damage effect of a mini-nuke, and if the cat could be animated to leap from face to face in a small radius it would reflect the probable rl consequences. I know nothing about programming a mod, unfortunately, and I am not inclined to test my rl hypothesis on my cat. But it sounds feasible.

Thanks. I'll see if I can wade through the reams of GECK instructions and posts for the way to isolate and change a specific npc. I make n00b's look like gifted coders :S

What I 'think' I'm looking for is a way to alter tone without resorting to either the whole 'showracemenu' nightmare of redesigning the npc back to how she looks now (if I can) or using 'DIMONIZED female races' which will mess with 'hair pack' and mean I have the same slog (possibly with every npc). I'm using Type3 textures atm and I'd love to use the race one but losing the present 'hair pack' settings is likely to make me weep. Be nice if 'showracemenu' just let you tweak what you started with rather than bining it and going from scratch. Is there a way?

Yup...toggle it faithfully after each and every mod I add. Sometimes I just toggle it for the hell of it :D Still trawling for a fix, all comments appreciated :)

I'm wondering if there is a way to darken or lighten specific npc's facial 'or' body complexions through the console? Running a bunch of mods together and while I'm happy with the bodies and happy with the faces they don't match for colour. I've uploaded a pic to show what I mean; the body is fine, but Red's face is far too light a complection. Any suggestions?
