  1. I thought so too, but I don't see how I was able to use the bit flip method for the other plug-ins, such as Vile Lair, with success. I had considered copying the original esp. file, but as you mentioned, this would cause compatibility issues. However there must be a way since the Unofficial Patches for Battlehorn, Frostcrag, and Knights do not seem to use the original plug-in itself, instead using it as a Master File, which do have have such compatibility issues. I'm just not understanding how and why the bit flip method wouldn't work for Knights, Frostcrag, or Battlehorn, but does for the other official plug-ins. Edit: Well I've figured it out. I duplicated the original .esp file and made my changes to it. Then I proceeded to go into Wrye Bash once I was done and add the original .esp file as a Master.
  2. When attempting to create mods based off of the official plug-ins of Knights of the Nine, Frostcrag Spire, or Battlehorn Castle, the Construction Set crashes when I attempts to save. I have tried using both of the esp mastering and the bit flip function of Wrye Bash, but, during the loading of the Construction Set, a warning box appears that says "Some of the bad forms encountered during load could not be removed from the file." I have successfully created mods based on the other plug-ins, using the methods Wrye Bash provides, with success every time (Vile Lair, Thieves Den, Orrery, etc...). Is there a way to remove these "bad forms" during load or is there an alternative method?
  3. Thanks. It worked perfectly. It just seems I was just not looking deeper into the scripts.
  4. Hello, I am fairly new here and to the modding scene so I'm not quite experienced in scripts. I would appreciate any help I can get. *Shivering Isles Spoilers* As we all know, upon beating Jyggalag and ascending to Madgod, the player receives two spells Manipulate Weather and Sheogorath's Protection. I can completely understand lore-wise about Manipulate Weather only working in the Shivering Isles, but I'm not quite sure why Sheogorath's Protection does not work in Cyrodiil. In an attempt to remedy this, I went into the Construction Set to try and alter the script of the spell to allow use out of the Isles. However, I have been unsuccessful. I was able to allow casting in Cyrodiil and was able to get the Active Spell counter to appear in the upper right hand corner, but upon being attacked, I would simply die as opposed to getting sent back to Sheogorath's Palace. Any help in trying to get Sheogorath's Protection in Cyrodill will be greatly appreciated and if needed I can copy the script for the spell into a post here.
