Greetings! I have a rather simple question. Does the Junkies legendary effect still work if you sate your addction? Or will it only work as long as the withdrawals are in effect?

Fallout 4: How it should've been.
Colactic replied to RogueMatriarch's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
What this mod needs is to overhaul a lot of the perks. There are so many useless ones that could have some relevance if tweeked, buffed or reworked completely. To list a few: Refractor / Toughness: The perk does far to little per point to be worth it. Especially considering that when you need it the most is in the early game as it falls of the further you level and your gear improves. This perk could have it's power increase to 20 points per rank up to a maximum of 3 ranks. Strong Back: The points that allows you to run whilst overencumbered and the point that reduces it's cost could be mashed into one. I would barely look at putting more than 2 points into this perk past level 70. Solar Powered: To weak for having limited capability. The only usefull part here is the radiation healing as it could alleviate some cap usage on rad aways and doctor fees. The stat increase is nice, sure, but hardely relevant in combat and the healing is pointless if you take the Life Giver Perk, that doesn't only come at 30 levels earlier but will provide more health at all times untill level 70 (feel free to correct me on that math). Nigh Person: Could be cramped into 2 perks as well as give you something extra, like increased movespeed while crouching. Rad resistance: Same reason as Refractor / Toughness. Lead Belly: This could be one perk, as well as an additional point that reduces the weight of food and drink. Right now it's so pathetic it's unreal. A survival feature could be that you need less food and water to keep yourself sustained. I havn't used many of the charisma perks, but to me Part Boy/Girl and Animal Friend look really tame. Especially Part Boy/Girl. Reason why I haven't tested them. Nerd Rage: Considering the intelligence tree goes well in hand with a Power Armor oriented build it doesn't make sense for this perk to give you DR seeing as DR does f*ck all in power armor. Should be a flat percentage, and perhaps at a higher health threshold. Atleast perk point. Contentrated Fire / Gun-Fu: Here I feel some reworks could be made. Right now a Vats centered build benefits heavily from Perception, Agility and Luck of course. However these rank 10 perks completely counter one another. Fortune Finder: Some might think that bonus caps are a good thing, yet it hardly gives you enough to matter seeing as enconomy management in this game is incredibly easy. Ricochet: Not sure about you guys, but whenever this thing goes of it's allways a "Oh, did it? Okay." type of moment. Havn't been crucial in saving my life once. There are just a few recommendations, i'd probably tweek more than half of the perks here but I havn't played with them all as much. I tend to go for Power Armor type builds because they just seem so superior to anything else. I suppose if you really enjoy the sneak style it's possibly quite viable as well, as long as you remember to pay attention.- 138 replies

Here you go. The mod is done and should fix your problems. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/14689/? Well how about that, much appreciated. Will download soon and test it out, if it works like I hope then I will give my Survival Heavy Gunner build a go. I insisted on making one after seeing so many people saying it wouldn't work.

I don't know of any mods of the sort but my mod in my signature does change Gatling Laser's ammo from Fusion Cores to Fusion Cells. That would fix your problem as it would make Power Armor the only source of Fusion Core consumption. I have a huge problem with mods that alter game mechanics. I personally don't trust player game balancing. Even though Bethesda themselves have proven to be unreliable in the balancing deparment I still trust them over that of other mod creaters.

Greetings! Lately I started to push the limits of what a good Survival build would be. To make it as efficient as possible I'm trying to avoid unnecessary excess stats that I don't need. One of the ideas that I had recently was using a Gatling Lazer and a Missle Launcher as my two default weapons. It's something I've used in other builds but this time I want to make it work in Survival. However, the issue I've come across is the way Gatling Lazers consume Fusion Cores. Does anyone know if any mod that forces Gatling Lazers to prioritize partially depleted Fusion Cores first over trying to consume a new one? Considering Fusion Cores now have weight in survival I don't want a ridicolous amount of them clustering my inventory, especially considering that the weapon itself, the missle launcher and it's ammo is going to be heavy enough as it is.

Greetings! Started a new playthrough recently, downloaded a few new mods. When I reached Whiterun I came upon a big hole in the ground. http://imgur.com/ihWBfuE I tried uninstall all of my mods, reinstalling Skyrim basically undo everything between it not being there on older playthroughs and showing up just now on this recent one. I've tried to google solutions, no luck. Any suggestions? Thanks! Update: It now seems as if it is affecting all cities. This is Solitude: http://imgur.com/b620Qsi I also noticed that there were more parts of Whiterun missing. The game is as of now completely unplayable.

Greetings! It's simple really. I got a body part I've used to mix a few meshes togethere, but the body has a neck longer than i'd preffered. In fact, no neck would work. If anyone could be kind to reduce the length of the neck to almost the shoulders by either cutting the meshes or removing part of the textures I would greatly appreciate it. And how do I do that?

Hello! First off, this is not a mod not working properly, it's just me trying to mess with it and that not working properly. The problem is simple. In the mod Ashara Princess of the Woods for UNP ( http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/18008/?tab=2&navtag=/ajax/modimages/?user=0|:|id=18008 ) there is a belt I'd like to fit wither another outfit I am using on my character. So in order to make it fit better I tried to change the meshes position by altering the X, Y and Z scales and the Y and P axis. But this mesh has something most meshes doesn't and that is preset values in these options. But, in any case, I altered them, and then I hit apply. The meshes in the Nifscope file look fine, but in game they suddenly jump 10 inches above my character and look all wrinkly, and I have no idea why this happens. I also tried to alter the preset values without hitting apply, but then it doesn't have any effect on what it looks like in game. So, seeing as no other mesh I have encountered have had this problem, I am wondering if it is some kind of option that I am missing. So I'm asking, does anyone recognize and know how to fix this problem? And if so, please do tell me. I am dying to know.

So I was playing Skyrim the other day when I encountered a robe which had some pretty cool Mana reg stats and so on. Problem is I preferred the look of another robe, which was slightly annoying to downgrade myself like that. But then I remembered a mod which was made for Oblivion that allowed people to swap Enchants on items. So one could transfer an enchant from one piece of armor/weapon to another, and then swap another enchant back onto that item. Basically taking the stats of the better robe to the cooler robe. So I went looking for a Skyrim version of this mod but didn't have much luck finding one. So in the case that it doesn't exist, does any modder out there feel like taking the challenge of making this mod? In the previous mod you placed the two items in two separate chests. One chest which would contain the item of the enchanted item, and the other of the none enchanted. Then you clicked a button and the enchant jumped from one chest to the other. It was also placed somewhere conveniently. So in this game in could be in Riverwood for example. Thanks in advance! And good luck :)

So yeah; I figured that might work. I just wonder what happens when you equip a new armor piece. Will it appear and start clipping?

Hi! I have a question for you guys which knows how this game functions. And the question is, is there a way to make so that your character has the same appearance all the time. So that if I got a custom armor which I downloaded, and what to look like that all the time but still want the progress of finding new gear, is there a way to make all armors invisible on your character and that you maintain the look of the custom armor you downloaded. Anything one can change with meshes, or? Thanks in advance!

Hi! Does anyone know of a simple solution in order to make these two mods work together? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/2329/?tab=2&navtag=/ajax/modimages/?user=0|:|id=2329 http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/19290/?tab=2&navtag=/ajax/modimages/?user=0|:|id=19290 Thanks!

Hi! Is it possible for anyone to create a mod that removes the killmoves? I have had it with this stupid cut scenes I get with enemies that kill my character with a stupid move which I could have easily dodged. But seeing as they are damned killmoves I cannot move or dodge in any way, even if prior to the killmove managed to heal myself to full health, the game is to slow to react and one shots me anyway. So could anyone please make this? Thanks in advance!
