Thanks for the response! I had a feeling it might be something related to the better cities, but i had to run to work before i could narrow it down and work on it. I'll try your suggestions when i get back home. It's not like the game is unplayable, but for some reason, rivers tend to look better when they actually contain water :biggrin: Oh, and this is the OP, i'm on my work laptop and i have different account info saved on here i guess...

Ok, the issue i am having is that the game freezes after i swim across the river and bypass the jefferson memorial to get to rivet city. It freezes just as I approach the super mutant nest that is located before arriving at the jefferson memorial. I am playing 1.7 with the latest versions of FOOK2, MMM, WMK, the high res texture packs, and enhanced weather. I am also using all of the expansions released. I have been able to play the game fine until now (by fine i mean, intermittent freezing that restarting from my last save seems to fix) but this freeze has continually occurred in the same place. Am i boned, or is there something that i should be using, doing, whatever?
