Regenerating Essential NPCs
AnnoyingBird97 replied to AnnoyingBird97's topic in Oblivion's Mod Ideas
I'm well aware of this. Just waiting for an hour brings them back to max. This really isn't a necessity for gameplay by any means, it's just more or less a convenience for the two other people in the world that think about this kind of problem. If you happen to know how or anyone that would know how to make a mod like this, that would be greatly appreciated. -
Title says it all. It always bugged me how when an important NPC falls unconscious, gets back up, and immediately falls unconscious again or when a battle would finish and their health would remain the same. That always irked me when they'd get one-shotted. These characters are supposed impossible to kill for a reason. I'm not talking about an amulet or ring or something that would allow them regenerate, I'm talking about some sort of script change that causes an essential NPC's health to slowly regenerate over time. I've looked for something like this, but not too surprised not to find it. I'd try it myself, but I don't dare mess around with the game's script for fear of ruining something. If anyone has any experience with this sort of thing, let me know. Thanks for reading and, if anybody makes this, thanks a ton.

So I basically made a mod for myself. I made a follower for myself in the Creation Kit and placed them somewhere. For some odd reason, when I did go there, they weren't there. After a few attempts, they finally were there. The mod was deactivated for some odd reason. Then, when I load the game back up, the mod's deactivated again. I imagine that using the Mod Manager would fix this issue, so I tried dragging the plugin file from the data folder to the Manager. It detected it, but said that can't be added in the little box that you can see downloaded mods are loading. Basically, I'm asking if there something I should do differently and would that fix my dilemma?

Basically, I made myself an Argonian companion in the Creation Kit using the CM files. He works just fine except for his tail. It's missing on his body, but around us there is this big red triangle thing surrounding the place. I'm assuming this is because of his tail since I didn't have this trouble until I made him. Anyone know how to fix this?

Reclaiming Sancre Tor Voice Troubles
AnnoyingBird97 posted a topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
I dunno if you've downloaded this mod and tried it out, but I went through what I think is at least half of it. Most of the dialogue with the NPCs had them moving their mouths, but nothing came out. Later on, when I'm talking to one of the characters, it's just the same. But then, out of the blue, they start using real words which suddenly stops when I begin talking to them again. I'm pretty sure the sounds of the mod is in beta, but is there anyway I can fix this lack of voices? I don't know a better way to word this if I did, so I'm sorry if anyone gets confused.- 1 reply

Just a quick question if anybody can help me. I have the Familiar Faces mod (great mod by the way) and have made a follower from it. A female Wood Elf. Her class is supposed to consist of one-handed, archery, sneak and restoration. One-handed and archery check out, judging from the stats that the UFO mod gives me, as is her sneak until I tell her to train. Suddenly, her destruction and restoration go way up, but the sneak goes way down. The Familiar Faces mod allows me to switch her class, but here's my dilemma. I was wondering if anyone knows if there's a class with these four specific skills. If not, is there a way to make one? Thanks for reading, more thanks for answering.

I don't suppose there are any mods that would allow you to level indefinitely, are there?

Does anybody have any suggestions for a custom soundtrack for this game? I'm not just talking about anything, I mean something that wouldn't feel out of place. Something that would feel natural to the game. I'd also prefer if the track had an end like the rest of the tracks rather than a fade out, but that's just a preference.

I tried that, but it crashed every time. Then, when I loaded it, it said that it was corrupted. I got to the point that I've decided to just reinstall the game. And guess what? It didn't work.

Not only did I do that, but I also removed it completely. So far, I've tried everything that my tiny little brain can think of.

I'd assumed it because I made some custom armor using Knights of the Nine armor in the Construction Set, but that wasn't the case. Every time I'd fast travel to Priory of the Nine to recover said armor, it just crashed. Maybe the fast travel caused the crash? Nope. Fast traveled to other places and nothing happened. Maybe the Knights of the Nine Plugin was corrupted or something? Nope. I fast traveled to the Ayleid dungeon at the end of the quest no problem. Maybe if I just walk to the Priory of the Nine, it would fix itself? Nope. If I so much as walk close enough to the priory in the over world that the symbol appears on the compass and it crashes. What's going on here? Has Umaril cast some kind of 4th wall breaking curse on the Knights just before he was killed (let's hope not)? Oh yes, and please don't post if you're going to say "I don't know." That just wastes everybody's time. Both mine and the people that are experiencing a similar problem. Thank you.
