  1. Hey! I was looking through a lot of guides but couldn't find one explaining the whole thing about importing a mesh and turning it into an clothing, Armor or helmet piece. I have an Helmet mesh and 3 textures (The whole texture itself, Bump and normal Map)that i want to make usable. Now I imported the mesh into Outfitstudio but don't know where to put the texture and how to make the helmet stick to the head. Same thing with other clothing meshes. Can anyone explain it to me and/or does anyone know some tutorials about the whole way?
  2. Hey there! I was thinking about expanding the map for the two games by lets say split them into 3 parts first. As an example i used the Capital wasteland. Now imagine that instead of just using one big worldspace we would create two of them (Map 1 & Map 2) and another one a bit smaller like DLC size for the D.C district only (Map 3) Now implemented in maybe TTW or NV we could use cars, horses or vertibirds to get around more, same storyline, create hundreds of interiors, community made sattlements, more enemys, more wildlife and another reason to play those great classic titles. Would you want to play it?
  3. Thanks for the comments, I should explain first what my plan is and if it would be possible. I read a lot about creating landscape and buildings from Google maps but I found another simple way and it's called BlenderGIS that recreates entire places in 3D. I would cut out the real life area of what the Fallout 3 map is (Based of references I will link up later) and turn them to 3D, remove the landscape mesh and everything what's not needed. Compare the real life and game locations and remove/edit everything to make them fit(Because the game map is in reality much smaller) and then make further improvements etc. The base of my thread is the mysterious question if it would be possible to have multiple houses etc standing, there might be a limit but having a whole aircraft carrier (Rivet City) standing around gave me some hope. (Gabs would still be there generated with the help of "NukeMap")
  4. Knowing that it's relatively easy to gather the meshes from Google maps into blender gave me the idea to implement more buildings into Fallout/TTW but I know have more questions... Is there a engine limitation that prevents placing more objects? And if so is there a way to get around this issue? What would be with the LOD generator? (The buildings would be low low poly ofc in order to save performance)
  5. I save you the typical "Install the latest driver" talk and give you this : https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/17665 It disables all the NPC's in G.E.C.K and makes it runs pretty stable.
  6. The Fallout series is in my opinion the best Videogame since Pong and after a long time i wish to make a mod that is more then 'just' a Fallout, it's much more than that. After realizing that my vision has a lot of potential I started to learn and play around with 3d modeling while building the story and do some research and found out that i need help :D I am still reading a lot about Tipps and tricks, watched a lot of tutorials etc but it's impossible to carry all the Infos in your mind without collapsing:D I would love to get some help, maybe even team up, cooperate or just have a little chat so feel free to dm me or let's talk on discord! Name is Cawcaw123 :) Have a nice day!

  8. I just solved the problem for me and wasted 100 hours on this so i hope it helps someone... 1. Download the .NET Version detector (( https://sumtips.com/software/detect-all-installed-net-framework-versions/ )) 2. Run it and inspect the window. It shows witch version is installed and if there is an problem. 3. If you get the same error listed like me : "Failed to load the dll from [C:\Program Files\~~~~\hostfxr.dll], HRESULT: 0x800700C1 The library hostxr.dll was found, but loading it from C:\Program Files\~~~~\hostfxr.dll failed" then google the solution that helps on your System. I installed the .NET Framework 4.8 offline installer, refreshed my .NET Version Detector and my problem was resolved and not listed anymore, rebooted my system, opened Vortex and no error message popped up. Please if someone tries to resolve the problem with the help of my guide then it would help others to make some adjustments and check what or when the error is fixed in order to get a more easy and better guide becouse my english is terrible. Hope it helps somehow....
