I'd calm down and recap, wouldn't lose my head over something like this. Just a heads up. Sorry.

Who else clicked on this thread because it was like not poking a sore tooth?

For roleplaying purposes, and if you're a reasonably good character, I think Earund from the Vearmina daedric quest is awesome.

Wow, that beats the night mother in creepiness. A place of eternal suffering, which you can never leave, where you have to gaze upon the non-decomposing bodies of people you've killed until the end of time.

That's weird, because my followers die all the time. But probably caused by some kind of bug then, seeing how I was kicked out of the mages guild after my follower from Winterhold suicided into a dragon. How the hell is that my fault? :wallbash:

From what I've seen, they haven't put much effort in constructing it as a stand-alone language, like Tolkien did for example. The syntax and grammar are more or less exactly similar to English, a bit disappointing in my opinion.

I tell ya, I spent many long hours carving a tail-hole in my daedric armour!

Whenever I'm in your situation, trying to justify my evil character's seemingly good deeds, I just figure he's in it for the gold and loot. And the option to kill more stuff.

I don't understand why the guards don't arrest him, he's lollygagging 24/7!

Which race (when played as) suffers the most racism?

Ah, a fellow rug! -

I don't think it's a huge deal with any race. As Khajit, I mostly hear that I'll make a fine rug, but that's from people who are hostile to begin with. -
Unfortunately, the only courier in Skyrim doesn't offer his services to the Forsworn.

I bet they're rolling up their sleeves and starting from scratch again at Bethesda right now.

I second Aerin as the most annoying NPC. I was lucky enough to see him become collateral dragon fodder, so he's not between me and my wife anymore.

You might be obsessed with Skyrim when...

You tell your kids to stop lollygagging. -
I've had some success with switching to another weapon just as they shout, but yeah, really annoying.

That's part of the problem... My previous saves are ancient, since I had played another character for some time. I'm sure I'd lose 100 played hours if I used the previous save.

I'm not sure exactly what happened, but I found myself with the "winters something" quest active from Farkas, at the same time as having the Family Heirloom quest active from Vilkas. No quest markers appeared from FH, but it was in the journal. Long story short; couldn't complete that quest, couldn't start another job. Tried the console with setstage with every getstage value, but nothing happened. Did the Farkas quest, the quest marker is on Farkas but there's no option to complete the quest in dialogue. What can I do? Is there any console command to delete a quest?

For me, it has to do with role playing, not in a sexual sense, but more like literature. When you play a game, your role can become much like that of a writer, more than that of a reader. The importance of the ability to immerse yourself into the mind of another sex shouldn't be underestimated!

Dual wielding daedric swords of 327 damage each...
adytum replied to ericdude88's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I never saw anybody blaming Morrowind for the possibility to stack enchants and alchemy from the beginning of the game, then levitating to Dagoth Ur and one-hitting him. Hardly the game's fault. -
Do you think horses are compleetly useless in skyrim?
adytum replied to sixcross's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Hardly use them myself for the reasons mentioned. What really bugs me too, is that there's obviously some bizarre etiquette in Skyrim which does not allow conversation when mounted. -
There's really too many topics beeing discussed simultaneously in this thread. Why should a middle age society be used as a reference point here? Neither political, social or cultural aspects are similar to the game, it only reminds of us the image we have of it on the surface. If anything,I'd say that the gender situation in the game distances Skyrim from that time period, since female warriors are as common as males.

Slightly off topic, but once, I had just come out of a dungeon, hurt and potionless, when a dragon suddenly flew over me. I was pretty low level, using only two handed without shields and magic. As the dragon flies towards me and my imminent doom is a fact, he suddenly bends off in another direction and goes to fight a giant instead, which brings the dragon to such low health that I can easily finish him off. This has happened several times afterwards, and it's awesome to watch a giant vs dragon fight. Also found that dragons can be baited towards a giant, if you happen to find one nearby. @arkune: I agree, and I some times feel like I need to limit the ridiculous effect stacking myself. First and foremost the thieves'.
