Oh wow, this is awesome! Thanks so much for the help! I managed, through a lot of trial and error, to merge a bunch of plugins and narrow my mod count down to where my game launches. I haven't played much of it (haven't even gotten to the vault yet) but it does function so far. I may need to put some smashed patches inside the merges I made. Regardless, this esl guide actually looks a lot more promising. If I run into any issues in this playthrough, I think that'll have to be the route I take. Thanks again!! EDIT: How do esl files work as masters? For example, I use a lot of patches that are dependencies or weapon mods. If I change a weapon mod from an esp to an esl, is it still considered a master for those patches?

 So you don't need "Immersive Scrapping.esp This is why i suggested in my first post to READ THE DESCRIPTION PAGE, and the Download Page for these mods, because after looking even more closely at your load order, you've got redundant mods that do the same exact thing, and two version of the same mods installed among other things I'm sure I'm going to find. So yea, right now you've got a mess of duplicate mods, redundant mod, and so on and so on. So, read the mod description pages, any stickies in the comments section, and install instructions, and even some mods post load order instruction. Start out with just a few mods and play for a bit, then add one more or a couple more etc. I would HATE to sift through that load order right from the start given the obvious problems I've quickly spotted.  Fair enough, thanks for the help! Can I install mods mid-playthrough? I know doing this in older games would lead to the game breaking in the near future.

Well, as I said, Iâm not new to modding. Iâm mostly new to fallout 4 modding. Iâve modded many Skyrim playthrough successfully with maxed out plugin limits. Skyrim just seems to be a much different animal than Fallout 4. I missed that about immersive scrapping, thanks! And I actually meant to delete that bashed patch as wrye bash isnât as functional with Fallout 4 as Skyrim. I figured that was the case but I know many people mod their games to oblivion (no pun intended) and back and they get it to function perfectly well. Iâm just trying to figure out what I have to do to achieve that. In regards to the scrapping mods, which one is better? Are either even necessary with Horizon also installed?

Hello! So, I'm not new to modding Bethesda games but I've always been a relatively low-information user. I've never built a fully stable game because I'm somewhat of a mod hoarder and don't have enough expertise to make it run well throughout the whole playthrough. This brings us to today. I'm trying to build my dream playthrough so I can play it with my wife and I've accumulated a large sum of mods again. Because of this, my plugin count according to NMM is 435 (I think some esl files are included in this) and I somehow need to narrow the plugin count to the what is allowed by the game's engine, 255. I have a lot of weapon mods and along with AWCKR, Armorsmith, Weaponsmith, and Horizon, there are a ton of extra patches that clutter my load order. I don't really know how to merge plugins (I've tried with the Merge Plugins tool) and I haven't been able to combine patch esp files in my previous attempts. I don't really know what I'm doing in FO4Edit either. I've tried to do a lot of research to find the most updated method of merging plugins but many seem to be outdated and it quickly gets a little overwhelming in what you can and can't merge and how to properly do it. So my hope and prayer is that someone can help me get my load order cleaned up and functional so I can play what I believe to be the perfect game build! Here is my load order:

So I'm coming back to New Vegas after about a two year absence with a much stronger computer. I desperately want to play fallout again but unfortunately, I'm a sucker for gorgeous graphics. I've been playing newer games lately (GTA 5, Dragon Age Inquisition, etc.) and I'd like to get Fallout New Vegas to look as good as it possibly can. I know there are a ton of mods to make Skyrim look like real life. Does anyone have any reccomendations for mods that will overall make my game look better? I would like reccomendations for an ENB as well since I do not yet have one installed.

Majorly Glitchy Breezhome (Conflicting Mods)

I managed to uninstall the great talos hunt. Somehow uninstalling the mod while having immersive creatures and dual sheath redux installed caused the game to crash. No my only issue is that my oven is still just sitting in the middle of the kitchen and there is no wall next to the stairs that lead to the basement. -
My Breezehome is glitching out pretty badly. I have fully upgraded breezehome installed and later installed the great talos hunt which added more content that I did not want in Breezehome. It added an enchanting table, an alchemy table, a chest and a wardrobe near the stairs in Breezhome and removed the wall next to the stairs leading to the basement. It also glitches my oven out now, moving it around and making it sometimes dissapear. I have tried to uninstall the great talos hunt and I get a CTD at the main menu almost immediately as the logo appears. I just want to uninstall the great talos hunt and have fully upgraded breezehome installed. How do I go about this? I was just in Whiterun and a dragon attacked so I killed it. The issue is that all the people in the town aside from the guards acted as if nothing was happening. I expected them to panic, run, go home, fight or something but they just walked around and talked like normal. Is this normal or are people supposed to panic during these attacks? I don't think I have any mods that should affect this aside from Deadly Dragons.

This is a generic problem. WMX is incompatible with something in my load order. Not sure what though. I've heard there is a program that will tell you what mods in your load order are causing problems with eachother. What program is this? And will said program work for Fallout 3 as well as TES games or only NV?

So for all of those who have played Oblivion, and yes - if you play Skyrim you should have played Oblivion, Shegorath was a great guy. For those of you who were fortunate enough to also play the Shivering Isles expansion, Sheogorath was greater than any amount of words or actions could ever ever ever ever ever express. Therefore, when I played Sheogorath's quest (Mind of Pelagius), I was disappointed at how little they put him in this game. I wan more Sheogorath. And I'm pretty sure everyone else wants more of him too. There needs to be some kind of questline for Sheogorath in this game. Regardless of Lore. Sheogorath deserves some of the spotlight in this game. I'm just hoping someone will make this happen. Please make this happen.

That actually isn't a bad idea. I love the idea of the Akaviri lore. Especially because they seemed like samurai. I'd love to see a samurai questline with Akaviri involvement.

I love Dwemer stuff. Not sure why. But then again, I'm pretty sure everyone loves the Dwemer. I'd love to see a mod that can throw some more Dwemer lore into the game. Something that gives you more Dwemer satisfaction aside from the pretty ruins. I'd love to see the discovery of remaining Dwemer people. That'd be great. Especially if they could either take over Blackreach or survive in a separate underground worldspace or ruin like that and run like a city. There would be a ton of potential with this.

I definitely second this request. Maybe an officially run insane-asylum that is governed by the Imperials/Stormcloaks or even a all new faction. That'd e pretty cool.

So I'm playing Dawnguard and I'm at the point (SPOILER!!!!) where you have to find the two other elder scrolls after finding the first one. The objective after the moth priest says "Speak to Serana" so she automatically came up to me and started speaking with me. Then once the conversation was over, I have no option to speak to her when I point my crosshair at her. I didn't have the option before the moth priest either. Is this normal? Or should I be able to speak to her? If it is not normal, how should I fix this? I recently had this issue with her and a few more NPCs such as Urag and I disabled many of my mods which allowed me to speak to Urag. However I do not know what is causing this.

So whenever I point at an NPC as if I were about to talk to them, it simply shows a crosshair. It doesn't show a name or anything. Meaning I can NOT talk to NPCs. I second that thought! I usually don't do alchemy, but I can't help myself picking up every perdy flower I see on the way... This way I can actually use them for something. I actually agree. Every time I see injured people, such as in the temple of Kynareth, I put on my Heal Other spell and pretend like it's doing some good... ^This. I do this all the time.

Definitely up for these: Brewery/Inn Farm Caravan Mine/quarry - I always have loved managing mines in Oblivion. Obviously with mods. SMUGGLING RING! New Ideas: Archaeologist company - Builds up and discovers valuable items that pay off and maybe eventually discovers huge dungeons or the such to explore that start a whole new quest. For example, The Lost Spires - although it wasn't a business - was an AMAZING mod. It introduced a whole new tier of weapons and artifacts and the such along with a huge amount of lore to it and it was extremely well done. I would LOVE to see something like that done for Skyrim. If it was made into a business instead of a guild, that'd be pretty cool. Even better if it were both.
