It's infuriating. Make it function like Mod Organizer where you have to click on the notifications for them to show. And why the hell is there a "dashboard?" Nothing is right. It's so incredibly bad. And there's no lines or color differences to separate lines of mods. And why is everything separated by tabs? Why can't we just have one window with multiple panes like in Mod Organizer? Who thought this was a good idea? Who thought any of this looked or felt good?

Speaking of terrible design, why is there still no separate "updates" page for the new website? A dropdown menu for 841 updates isn't very useful. And why can't I block updates for images that authors I follow upload?

Sure I suppose most of it can be disabled, or at least hidden. But really, all I want a mod manager to do is manage mods. The rest of the stuff in Vortex is useless fluff AFAIAC. Frankly I sorely miss Tannin on Mod Organizer. Can't fault him though, money is money. The last thing I want is a steam-a-fied mod organizer.

His critique may be over the top but he still got valid points which should be addressed in future updates.
  2. For someone who's already played through the game it'd be pretty nice if there was a mod that enables the effect of the 3 sunglasses in the game without actually wearing them:

    Classic Sunglasses (detect life)

    Modern Sunglasses (detect machines)

    Sunglasses (detect loot)

Maybe even make hotkeys for the effects to toggle them on or off at any time.

As a New Game+ mechanic it'd be ideal but I guess the devteam wasn't thinking that far ahead.

  3. I don't think you even need to justify yourself to people complaining about this collaboration.

None of them ever paid a dime for either NMM or MO(2) so they've got no right whatsoever to tell you or anyone else involved in the new project what you're doing is wrong.

Thank you for continuing your work to make modding for both modders and mod-users that much more enjoyable.
