I am a huge realism-freak, I have about every realism mod I can get on my skyrim game, but there is something missing, that always seems to spit me out of the immersion of the game, combat. I dont think ive ever experienced a more boring combat system in a game ever. All you do to win a fight is to mash the mousebutton until your enemy drops dead, and if he looks to be killing you.. you just drink a health potion and continue to slash. I rarely need to strategize when I enter a combat scene and its something I miss. And now to my mod idea.. Everyones health is set to 100 default- this cannot be altered in any way, not even after leveling up. But that goes the same for your enemies aswell. A two-handed axe to the head and you're dead instantly, as it should be. I doubt anyone would survive that. But the swing time for the axe lowered so that dodging it will be easier, also a block from your shield would save you, but your shield would be broken.. which brings me to the next part of the mod, durability and armor-"health". Instead of health in the typical sense it would change to how good your armor is, say you're wearing a ebony chest armor and you get hacked at with a sword, instead of your health lowering the durability on your armor lowers (and if its not asking too much.. visual degrading). Im sure all my ideas here are already made mods of, just not together as I would have liked.. When the mods are spread around the nexus and other mod websites it gets hard to find all the mods you want, if you see any of my mod ideas here and notice that theres already a mod of this, please let me know so that I could implement this into my game. Bow and arrows and sneaking, I believe we've all experienced the hilarious moment when you shot an arrow at a guy in sneak and he starts looking for you, and when he doesnt find you he says "huh.. must have been nothing" with a arrow standing out of his head. Having it my way, he would have died the moment the arrow hit his head. More or less damage depending on where you hit your enemy is something I sorely need, especially since I love bow and arrow. More ideas to realism in combat would be greatly appreciated in this topic Thanks, Oxyhawk
