Is this laptop good? someone help please (:
Belgianfox replied to TheDarkNobleMan's topic in PC Gaming
I'd personally get a Lenovo, they are completely customisable, and you can clean them out easily. With other brands, you have to take apart the whole laptop before you can even think about reaching the fan and heat sink of it. -
Hello, I've been having this Microfusion Cell texture bug. Disabling all my mods, enabling and disabling Archive Invalidation doesn't work either. How am I able to fix this? Many thanks in advance. http://static-4.nexusmods.com/15/images/120/1555963-1433999168.jpg

Fallout 3 Freezing Issues
Belgianfox replied to Belgianfox's topic in Hardware and software discussion
I own the Steam version of the game so it does that automatically. Fiddling with the ini has worked for me, but it took me a long time. Thanks for responding, though! -
Hello, I've recently re-installed Fallout 3 with all my favorite mods. Though I've never had issues on this PC before, I keep freezing up. The game was running great until I reached Sarah Lyons to confront the super mutants for the first time. I've tried all ini fixes, re-installing and the whole lot. It just keeps freezing. I'm on Windows 7 64 bit, have a GTI 660TI Graphics card, 16 GB of 1333 Mhz RAM and a i7 2700k @ 4.5 Ghz Please help me, I really want to enjoy this game once more! The upload system of the site won't let me upload an image on the forum.. so here's a link to my load order: https://photos-2.dropbox.com/t/2/AAC1I-Jg9EzYEQmn294ogJDPzvybhdXLyraVgfzyWUF9Iw/12/245121027/png/32x32/1/1433973600/0/2/022.png/CIOA8XQgASACIAMgBCAFIAYgBygBKAI/fJAJh_lRyrExWhU7xMkq4u7UHSVQqAbPLhVbV2MkReg?size=1600x1200&size_mode=2

Ah alright, hopefully someone can help me there. Thanks. :)

http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/17370 Before I ask my question, I do not include any meshes or textures with my mod. They are downloaded seperately, I only provided an ESP so that the armors are available in game. Just typed that to not get anyone confused. Basically what my mod does, is add the Riot Armors from Lonesome Road to Fallout 3. Though I have a little problem with them. The neck of characters clip through the neck-guard part of the armor. I've found a way to fix the PipBoyOn/ off and all, discovered some neat little things while doing that. But I can't seem to find how to fix the neck clipping issue. I'm pretty sure I'll have to change something in Nifskope, because I've looked through every single option in the GECK already. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone, I know this Vault isn't actually in-game, but the wiki talks about an advertisement being somewhere in the Pitt? I've been trying to find this Vault-Tec advertisement for a couple of hours now, and every time I played through the DLC I never noticed it. Can someone give me more information about the location of this advertisement? Thanks. :)

@ micalov Interesting, I'm not experienced with FOSE or scripting though so I wouldn't know how to get to it. Are there any tutorials about this around somewhere? Thanks again. :)
-
@ micalov Ahhhh, that explains it. So there's actually no other way adding new reload animations without hardcoding it into the GECK?
-
Hello, my question was if there is any way to use custom reload animations for a weapon in Fallout 3 instead of the default ones a, b, c, d etc. I have the correct animations and I'm actually just porting the animations from New Vegas to Fallout 3, but after looking through the GECK I can't really figure a way to add custom reload animations as they seem to be hardcoded into the GECK. Is there any way to make new ones? Thanks in advance. :)

The glitch I'm having, as seen on the screenshot occurs on both Fallout 3 and New Vegas, clean installation without any mods.
-
I don't have any texture/mesh mods installed for the moment. I've looked into the folder and there's none there. I then went ahead and actually looked into the BSA's, took them out and placed them into the correct mesh folder. That didn't work either though. Either way, if my system specs help anything, here they are: Processor Manufacturer: Intel Processor Name / Type: Pentium ® Dual-Core CPU T4300 @ 2.10 GHz Processor Speed: 2.10 Ghz Operating System / Service Pack: Windows 7 64 bit, Updated to the last defenitions. System RAM: 4 GB Video (GPU) Manufacturer: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 Video Card Model: Mobility Radeon HD 4650 Video display's default screen resolution Video Card onboard RAM: 1024 MB Sound Card Manufacturer: HP Sound Card Driver IDs: Sound Card Model: Integrated into the notebook system board. Thanks in advance. EDIT: Oh, and Jeoshua I'm using your Clean-Deluxe mod for now. But even then I've found a spot where there's a dust FX left over, somewhere in the Tenleytown/Friendship Station.
-
I've just figured out it's the "FXDustSimple01" that's glitching, this and my post above, plus the screenshot is all the information I have for now. Help would greatly be appreciated. :)

I've checked out your mod, it seems quite nice. But I don't really want to remove the dust particles, I'd like to, well, keep them and fix them somehow. Sorry for the lack of information on this glitch. I've tried everything though, multiple reinstallations of Fallout 3 and New Vegas and the glitch would stay the same on both games. I tried changing the graphical settings in all possible ways, still the same glitch. But then again, maybe it would be a missing mesh/texture? I doubt that though, since if it would be missing that there would be a red error popping up instead of what shows on my screenshot. I hope someone can help me out with this one.

Hey everyone, my Fallout 3 game seems to be having a glitch where these particles, I'm not sure which ones but they could be dust ones glitch. I've had this glitch for ages now, but finally got enough of it as it breaks the immersion and is kind of annoying. It also occurs in both Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas, can someone help me please? This is an image of what I'm talking about: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/imageshare/images/1555963-1325642821.jpg Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone, I'd just like to ask if there's any way to remove notes from the "Notes" section of your Pip-Boy? I have a couple of mods installed that added a lot of notes into my inventory and I like to keep my inventory in order and I don't have any knowledge on how to remove notes or if it's even possible to do so.. anyways, thanks in advance! ^^

fTreeLoadDistance doesn't exist in Fallout_default.ini, the file used in New Vegas but if you load up the aforementioned Fallout_default.ini in a text editor you'll find a block named [TerrainManager] that contains the fBlockLoadDistanceLow variable along with several other interesting variables that seem to control draw distance. Experiment with these settings as you wish, but remember to back up the .ini file first. Hey there, thanks for the info I've tried it and it seems to be working fine still the mountains in the background still look glitchy but at least it's a bit better. Thanks! And I didn't bump it after eleven minutes, I bumped it after more then a hour.. ^^

Bump.

I've been playing Fallout New Vegas for a while now and the lack of draw distance's been bothering me a lot. I'm a huge realism freak, having over a hundred mods installed but this thing is still bothering me. Is there any way to increase draw distance beyond the max settings? Thanks in advance!! ^^
