Yep that helped actually.. I started Steam in Offline mode, and Skyrim worked like nothing happend! Saved my life there :biggrin:

It's embarrasing that steam takes on such a huge responsibility, and then always lets us down. But i thought Steam was known for it's issues.. So why would Bethesda entrust Skyrim to Steam...

But does your Oblivion run on Steam? I haven't tried to start Oblivion, but i know that mine isn't related to Steam in any way
