LE Request: smithing perks; get daedric from light armor side only
sephkurai replied to filoumz's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
Someone has made this request, and I will tell you what I told them. Changing the perk list is very hard to impossible without the creation kit. You are best off giving yourself levels or perk points with the console or other mods to do this. Also, if you train your heavy armor enough you can get the perk that makes heavy armor weightless, basically making it just as effective, or even more so, for sneaking as light armor. -
This will result in npcs running to their deaths. Food for the ancient dragons yay! Losing quest npcs booo!

this mod would make me happy

Based on what you are saying you want to do, the mod I suggested for you would do what you want. There is a version where the vendor resets instantly after you are done talking to them, making their gold unlimited. And as for stolen loot, well you'll need to get the investment fencing perk somehow. I know what you are really asking for, but I'm just giving a temp solution.
-
This has already been requested, a lot. What you are asking for is something that falls under a category I like to call "duh". As every modder wants to make this, but can't without the creation kit yet.

http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1447 - upgrades master trader perk if you dont want to feel like you are cheating, too much http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=769 - doesn't give as much money, but you don't need the perk. you are definitely a cheater with this http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=749 - this is what you are asking for, and completely ruins the game imo

What I am saying is what Draco said. You can go either route. It is fair because it costs a lot more perks to get to dragon armor from the daedric armor side. You want to make the best weapons and armor... without getting the perk to make them? My recommendation, is there is no reason to take the light armor side of the perks. Light armor is dirt cheap and you can make hundreds of thousands of gold making dwarf/ebony armor. Solution: either give yourself levels to get the perk you want, download a mod that gives you more perks, or go the heavy armor route like everyone else. Or, go both. You are asking for a mod with no specific clarifications, you are just saying what you don't like and expecting a modder to come up with a solution.

LE Mod Request: A way to repair relations with ousted Jarls
sephkurai replied to Draco856's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
This is a bit of an extravagant request, since Jarls are pretty much pointless besides a small quest or two. My recommendation is to play the game one way, then start a new save and play the other way. Plus if there were any expansions to continue the civil war/fight the thalmor it seems like the mod you are requesting would brake the expansion. Or just use console commands to kill the jarl you dont like and then spawn the one you do, if an npc who just sits on a chair is that big of a deal to you. -
Dragon weapons yes... but... The rest doesn't make sense. You want heavy armor to be light armor? You can upgrade light armor. You want light armor to have the same armor value as heavy armor? That completely defeats the purpose of light and heavy. You want your light armor to look like heavy armor? Change some textures. What you are asking for is very confusing. Also I believe dragonscale armor is light armor, not positive though. Both directions on the smithing perk list have both light and heavy armor.

LE Mod Request: More Perks Per Level.
sephkurai replied to FourthOutsider's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
I've never liked SKSE, not since the first time it cause my game to crash. stop bumping this. IT'S BEEN DONE. doesn't matter how, it's done. end of story also, if a mod is made with another program being required it's most likely because the mod is impossible/really hard to make without the construction kit out yet -
bump. please reply and vote to get modders attention! i think this mod will make a lot of people happy

LE Mod Request: More Perks Per Level.

already done. search first ask later -
I'm frustrated that the dragon combat script forces them to land in wide open areas. While I know this is to avoid the models to go through objects/terrain I find it more annoying than useful. Me: (Dragon Rend shout to force dragon to land) Dragon: Hah! You didn't say where! (Flies over a cliff and lands until dragon rend wares off) Dragons also tend to fight every one else before fighting you. While it's cool to have giants and trolls tank a dragon for you, it is not so cool to have the local blacksmith try to tank for you. I need my blacksmiths and npcs to stay away from dragons, they are weak and they should know it. However I don't care about guards fighting them. Please help modders! I believe this will be a useful fix for everyone.

But how will I know it does? Will there be some sort of warning or do I have to try to get an achievement and see if it works or not? Because the only achievements I have left are hard ones. >.<

Some real life situations where traitors would try to join with an enemy that resulted in the enemy killing the potential recruit are probably what sparked this. Once a traitor, always a traitor, as in having no sense of honor and just jumping around to whoever you feel best with, simply brings up the question when will they betray me? So the logic is to kill all traitors even if they are helping you, because it's not worth the risk. However, paarthurnax has spent an enormous amount of time paying for his debts by teaching the way of the voice to man. Also he says "what is better, to be born good and put no effort into it, or to be born evil and become good through great effort?" him saying that is the biggest reason i spared his life

will that command disable steam achievements?

Would it be possible/hard/easy to make a mod that would only put souls in their matching soul gem? i.e. greater souls only go into greater soul gems, common souls only go into common soul gems. I hate accidentally using a grand soul gem for a lesser soul because my most powerful weapon has soul steal on it. If someone thinks they can do it, I'd be very grateful!

Yet another post from someone who completely misses the point, EVEN THOUGH it's clarified in the Edit: tab. If the 3:1 gamesaves were removed from the recent files list, it would be extremely shorter. I want the OPTION to not SEE gamesaves in RECENT FILES. Clarification x2 I want the OPTION to not SEE gamesaves in RECENT FILES. Now if that's not understandable please see a doctor you may have a brain tumor.
-
You're totally missing the point of this post. Not only am I not having a tantrum, you just chose to read it that way. (I'm calmly and logically expressing my opinion) But I stated that gamesaves that are just progress in the game, or a level 1 "pretty" character, that anyone can make inside the game with no alterations is a waste of space and time. Please take the time to look at a post before being stupid.
-
Point of my post has been clarified. However my secondary point of uploading a character that anyone can make simply by playing the game is a waste of space, still stands
-
I agree i would like dragonbone weapons. However they should be slightly worse than daedric, but lighter, as that's how dragonbone armor is.

Why do so many people upload gamesaves to nexus, a modding community? Now gamesaves that are needed to get certain mods to work are an exception, but honest to god why would anyone want to download a gamesave? Someone out there sure is because they keep popping up everywhere! Playing a gamesave someone else has progressed in for you is fail. Uploading your "pretty elf level 1" is fail. Oh god, I wish there was a way to filter out these gamesaves overtaking real mods 3:1. Edit: I want to be able to view recent mods without having to scroll through all the gamesaves
