I was just wondering, anyone know what happend to the Mature skin mod by Maevan? It seems to taken down herre on nexus.

Im having a problem. I want to install the cassandra witch armor by nsk13. The armor is unp but you can download cbbe files and overwright. My problem is this, how do i just overwright the right files and not update the mod using the latest nmm? In the old nmm you just chosed no to update and yes to overwright but in the last nmm it is absolutly unclear what of the option to chose. Do i chose yes to all, yes to mod, yes to whatever? I have done something wrong cos with this armor i cdt when i try to load a savegame with this mod active. Any help would be appreciated.

Fixed it (i think) The thing is that you cant deactivate a mod first. You have to right click on an active mod and then select reinstall. I feel like an idiot *facepalm'

Well, it sucks. Im sad that i updated NMM. The old one worked just fine. I know its a free tool and all but screwing up the function of reinstalling mods is just, well, stupid. Its a thing one have to do on a regular basis so its kind of a deal breaker for me.

No, but i found a post with a similar problem and there was no answer for it so i figured to widen my search. Its proper annoying. There was no such problem with the old NMM. Wy update a program and make it worse? I dont get it. In the "old" NMM you simply deactivated a mod, then reactivated it to go through the install options for the mod. Many of the mod patches have many, many options to tick or un-tick depending on what mods you have so this is a major hassle.

How do i re-install mods with this new version? Many mods have several options during install and somethimes i want to deactivate a mod to go over the options again, but with the new NMM when i deactivate and activate a mod again , it just installs the mod with non of the said mods option beeing presented. I litterary had to delete a mod and redownload it to get the mods instalations options. This cant be right, right?

Im quite uncertain about which folder to backup. Is it my Nexus mod manager folder or is it my skyrim data folder, or both?

So the rumors are true? The lates version, 0.61 is it? will seriously ruin your existing modlist (im talking Skyrim here) So i am a bit afraid to update to latest version.

Does the new NMM add functionallity for Fallout 4 and iv heard that updating NMM to latest version can seriously screw up your Skyrim mods install, forcing you to rebuild the whole game. Any truth to that?

Im a bit afraid of the latest update for NMM. I heard it had a lot of problems with it. Mods not getting loaded right, etc and you basically had to build skyrim up again. Any more news on that?

Is there any progress indicator of sorts in nmm? Cos i cant see if a mod is just taking its time installing/upgrading or if its just stopped working. Kind of annoying lol.

Just had to reinstall Skyrim and im missing a mod lol. There was a mod that made it possible to pan the camera around your character while talking to an npc. I cant for the life of me find it nor remember what it was called. Iv tried asking around but so far, no luck. Anyone?

I have no idea as to where to ask this question so i'll try here. Im about to update nmm to latest version and it recommends to do a clean install. Well, how do I uninstall nmm in the first place? I cant seem to find any other way than using the uninstall function in windows control panel. Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Whenever im in dark suroundings and having my weapon and shield or even hand to hand ready and im in first person view, weapons and shield emitts a faint, greenish light. I can actually light up dark surfaces when i get close enough to them. It reminds me of the light you get from those chemical sticks you break and they start to glow. Im not sure but i think it started after downloading dragonborn and the highres texture pack 3. I (of cource :-D) use mods like enb and lighting and fx mods but this is defnitly something new. Is there someone that have even heard of this?

Well, that was new!!! First, and this will take you some time although not to long :-D Disable all your mods, start a new character, pick a race and gender you like. Dont bother with customize your char at this point, you can do that later, saves you time.just name your char what you would use in game. To save even more time there is a wonderful mod called "live another life" on nexus that enables you to skip the whole Helgen debackle alltogether. Start with just that mod enabled. If you pick the option to start as a mage at the college you have access to a enchanting table right quick. Try enchanting or creating a potion at a alchemy lab. If this works, start enabeling mods. If everthing works fine then something have been corupting your savegame of that poor dark elf. If something goes wrong then the last mod is likely to be the culprit. You could also of cource disable all your mods, load an earlier save and see

I have been using Nexus since, I think, 2005, after my wife talked me into playing Oblivion. I found this site through the Oblivion forums and I can say that Nexus is essencial for me to fully enjoy games like Oblivion, Fallout, Skyrim, etc. I also would like to mention that Im a little ashamed at myself. I have never given much thought to what is actually needed to keep a place like this running. Its like water, if you got plentiful, you never give any thought to what a wonderful substance it really is :-D I wish I was a millionaire or the co at Cisco or something and I would give you your servers but alas :-( Hey! there's an idea. Wy dont we all write to companies like Cisco (or Bethesda for that matter) and ask for some help. There must be some companies out there that are capable of an altruistic deed, no? I will go now and check my wallet for some money and go premium. For the last couple of days I have been unable to download any mods from nexus. Neither nmm download or manual download. If I use the nmm download alternative, nnm crashes, using manual download I either get no server alternatives bar one premium membership server or I get a message from browser that it couldnt connect to page or server. Im sorry if this is totally the wrong place to post this but i dont know where else to post it. Any help would be much appreciated.

For people like me who are totally inept when it comes to modding yet so in love with mods its comforting to have a site that doesnt slap you so hard that you want to cry when and if you ask a dumb question. Iv been on other forums that seems ruled by angry teens that can really put down the hate. No one need that kind of aggrevation nor do they (in most cases :-D) deserves it.
