I've saved the girl and reported Acadia before. all I did was wait until after I finished whatever story I chose to talk to the BOS/Institute people waiting in Far Harbor after I've already convinced Kasumi to go home. Normally I convince her to go home then have a 3 way peace deal with Acadia, CoA, and Harbor before I wipe out Acadia, then I go finish the MSQ.

Same here, been having login issues for a few hours now, also noticed when going to file selection random files where whited out and acting like they were just uploaded and going through nexus virus scan. Closing my windows and restarting session would fix the page I was on but when I selected a new fallout mod same thing would happen, now I can't log in on NMM. I should probably go to bed and hope it'll resolve by the time I wake up but I haven't played fallout in months and I'm kinda wanting to get back into it lol.

Nah I'm pretty frustrated with it too. I like OCD cause it adds a small items, I like that Homemaker and SSEX add things like beat up cars and whatnot. What I really want though is a settlement mod that adds Prefabs. wooden prefabs, metal prefabs stone prefabs and warehouse/barn prefabs. Vault prefabs that add prebuilt sections/rooms for those of us that are less talented in building than others. I like the concept of Snap n Build, Modular Housing etc but the build menus are so daunting to me that I don't even attempt it. I've tried Homemaker, SSEX, OCDecorater and I can't use them, I crash a lot more when they are active, they add way to many things to the menus for me. I wish someone would make a prebuilt save that doesn't have the quests complete, areas found(aside from settlement markers) and uses only vanilla asset/dlc items. Current settlement mods: Brighter Settlement Lights Construction Light Config DoItYourshelf Manufacturing Extended No More floating Razorgrain Simple Intersection Snappable Junk Fences Vault 88 More Vault Rooms(though I may remove since I can't build a vault for the life of me) Better Vault Corners(same as above) Better Stores Crops Give more Food Remove Turret Power Requirement Immersive Vendors Scrap Dead Things

All I'm going to say is if Arthmoor, Eli or many of the other popular modders put all their work up with a price tag all it's going to do is encourage me to learn more than just how to edit a file through F04edit or recoloring something. I'm not a mod maker, I don't release the recolors I make for personal use, I don't donate, I endorse everything I download even if it's terrible(mostly cause I download a lot and can't remember which was bad or not). If they want a price tag on their stuff that's all the better, I won't be able to afford them cause I provide for a family of 4 with just my paycheck but still they work for it they deserve it. What I don't like is when a mod author hold their mod hostage unless they get paid I.E: "I won't update unless I get some donations to make the time worth it", or "I didn't win a contest so I'm going to stop all support of this mod....unless my kickstarter goes off then maybe I'll work on it". But as I said I'm just a user that doesn't contribute so it's not my place to say if they should do that or not. All it'll do for me is force me to learn how to model, script, and animate.

-Mod Wishlist- (what would "you" like to see in f4 ?)
Juromaro replied to Nero1n's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
1:Not sure it's a mod but I would love a Save file that has a few settlements built that doesn't require 200 other mods and isn't a completely 100% game. 2: Settlement building Prefabs I.E: Warehouses, Barns, Clinics, Bars, Armory, Arenas, Bunkers, Greenhouses etc that don't require putting pieces together. I'd love to be able to pick the type of building I want and just plop it down without having to get all surgical with it(I'm a terrible builder) 3: Pre-built settlements: I wouldn't mind a plug in that came with settlements already prebuilt so when I started a new game I wouldn't have to spend hours upon hours upon hours to make one of the ugliest settlements ever. Something that fits the theme of Fallout settlements, not like turning settlements into small countries with futuristic super clean buildings but like has wooden/metal homes, farms, barns, fences, warehouses, and security points already pre-placed where you can scrap it if you want or add to it or just assign a settler and go. -
I like both voice actors. Jack grifting Garrus is great. However I find the Male VA delivers some lines better than the Fem VA. example: When you get Tenpines settlement Female VA says : That settlement you sent me too has...decided to join the minutemen(in the most out of place way possible). Where as the Male VA says in the same quest: That settlement you sent me too has decided to join the minutemen(in the most normal way possible). Then you have things like when you first come out of the freezer the Male VA has more emotion when interacting with Nora, where the Fem VA seems to try and act "freezing" which is fine but her reaction to Nate was a bit non emotional. Fem VA has a better reaction towards Shaun when you first meet him. but like I said it's a mix between both VA's.

So are you saying that once I console the command in and do a save then that setting will remain without the need of consoling the command in again if I restart using that save? For the most part yes. Example: setav 357 3 will make your physical damage times 3 forever on that save. modav 357 3 will do the same as the setav except sometimes it'll reset after each zone load. modav experience adds experience to level you up where setav experience doesn't work(or at least I don't remember if it does). *edit*: I think it depends mostly on the command. I've had a few setav commands reset and a few modav commands stay forever. I'm almost positive that if you setav your speed it'll be forever on that save

Vault-Tec Workshop DLC Is Out - First Impressions
Juromaro replied to RaffTheSweetling's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
I've always missed most DLC releases until well after they come out, Far Harbor and the Skyrim DLC are the only ones I've ever gotten on release day. I hope I'm not going to end up wasting money when I finally do get the contraptions, vault and nuka dlc :( -
no setav sets the actor value. modav idk I've had to reset some each log in and others are forever on that save.

I don't think FO4 modding is dying, went through a hiccup with the Nvidia contest and stolen content on consoles. But we've now got animation tools, people are able to put in real player housing. Voiced Companions are making an appearance. All I need now is a pre-built all settlement file that doesn't require 2000 other mods cause I'm a terrible builder lol.

What happened to The Rebel by L0rd0fWar?
Juromaro replied to Firewall8's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
I used quite a bit from L0rd, still use his NCR outfit. I have the Rebel outfit but it hasn't been updated(probably never will now), but I can understand his frustration. Precisely the reason I don't release my own person mods. I can see where he'd get tired of it, you release a gun and the wannabe gunphobes come out of the wood work saying "ZOMG DUDE YOU DON'T HAVE THE FACTORY SCRATCH ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE TRIGGER!!!" or "Hey great mod love it but could you make a FN99 357 from 1901 I have one in real life and I love it!". Then you get people who make armor mods like L0rd and Eli, "ZOMG WHERE IS IT I CAN"T FIND IT WHATS THE CONSOLE CODE!!!!!" or "Hey great mod love it, but could you make a slutty version so I can have them on my character, also can you make a bodyslide for it so it'll be compatible with my 140 inch DDDD size body?????" I have mad respect for people like L0rd, Dogtooth, Eli and the rest of the "top" mods being able to put up with that crap day in day out, some even get death threats now cause of console users. OMG bring that to console please, I realize that it's not compatible and could break my system to which I'll hold you responsible for, but ermagerd I totes needs it!!!!. Bethesda really screwed the pooch with console mods, but their biggest mistake was trying to officially support Mods on their own Bethesda mods are so clunky and an eyesore to try and find something that I just plain don't use it.- 106 replies

So as the topic title states I am unable to start a new game with mods installed. When I click new game instead of going to a black screen/load it stays on the start screen panning around the suit of power armor and various other junk in the Red Rocket. Load symbol is blinking but it doesn't progress at all. This all started yesterday when I had a power outage, NMM "reinstalled" all my mods like it was updating. I'm able to play the game with 0 mods installed, and I've tried uninstalling each mod one by one to find out which one was the problem(though I've been playing the game with the same 103 mods installed. and my mods are updated daily if available. My current mod install is 88 mods with 71 plugins. *DLCRobot.esm *ArmorKeywords.esm *SettlementKeywords.esm *Homemaker.esm *Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch.esp *CBBE.esp *mk14.esp *AzarPonytailHairstyles.esp *HairVariations_Sophisticate.esp *HairVariations_Conversions.esp *AWKCRPatch-UFO4P.esp *ValdacilsItemSorting-00-ValsPicks.esp *Fr4nssonsLightTweaks.esp *mk14-awkcr.esp *P99.esp *BetterSettlers.esp *Scavenged NCR Armor.esp *BetterSettlersNoLollygagging.esp *ModdableRobotSettlers.esp *ASCODanse01.esp *ASCOMacCready01.esp *ASCOPreston03.esp *th1nkEyebot.esp *CutieCurie - Makeup Alt.esp *LovingCait_1.0.1.esp *LovingPiper.esp *VisibleCompanionAffinity.esp *MoreWeaves.esp *JC-Bikini.esp *TrueReporter.esp *Armorsmith Extended.esp *Brotherhood of Steel Kit.esp *BrighterSettlementLights_LessHarsh.esp *ConstructionLight_LessHarsh.esp *BalconySupports.esp *OCDispenser.esp *OCDecorator - No Experience.esp *OCDecorator.esp *Q Craftable Lanterns.esp *Simple Intersection.esp *BetterJunkFences.esp *Water Sources Expanded.esp *WoodenPrefabsExtended.esp *My_Minutemen.esp *NoMoreRandomTurretMks.esp *SurvivalFastTravel.esp *Quick Save.esp *ImmersiveVendors.esp *RaiderOverhaul.esp *Raider Overhaul - AE Patch.esp *SuperMutantOverhaul.esp *Super Mutant Raider Overhaul Patch.esp *BetterStores.esp *BS-SKPatch.esp *DD_Floor_brace.esp *Homemaker - SK Integration Patch.esp *Homemaker - Streetlights Use Passive Power.esp *Homemaker - Unlocked Institute Objects SK.esp *NX Pro - Farm Core.esp *NX Pro - Farm Core - Homemaker.esp *NX Pro - Farm Core - Valdacil's Item Sorting.esp *WindowBoards.esp *1FoodPerCrop.esp *WRVR.esp *HUE_Standalone_01.esp *LooksMenu.esp *Eli_Faction Housing Overhaul - V81.esp *Eli_Rockin Red Rocket.esp *Gorgeous VaultGirl.esp *Eli_Faction Housing Overhaul - Prydwen.esp

Survival Mode...ridiculous or just not fun?
Juromaro replied to Burnout122812's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
I like it so far, I modded in the console, quicksave and quick travel as it was annoying as heck having to travel across the map and back for a radiant quest. Some things are annoying like the constant sleeping and eating, but other than that I like having to cure illness and whatnots. -
Why are mods getting so few Endorsements?
Juromaro replied to TheGrimblade's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
I endorse every mod I download, and I keep track of each one on a daily basis(currently running 103 plugins and 113 installed), however I'll pull an endorsement or vote if said mod author gets an ego/attitude towards their install base. I'm sure when I start releasing some mods I'll get fed up with some people as well, but honestly to me that's like a celebrity complaining about having to sign an autograph, then there are the user suck ups trying to get their pat on the head from the mod author. All in all I think most of the reason endorsements are low vs downloads is because most people just click download and only come back when NMM/MO tells them something can be updated, at least that's what I used to do when I started modding with skyrim. -
I'm looking for a decent looking Male follower with the voice set of the MaleSoldier voicetype, or one that allows me to change voice types upon install. Any ideas? Further info: I know absolutely nothing about skyrim creation kit usage and would rather not break my game(again) by messing with something I shouldn't have. Also this isn't a request to have one made just wondering if there are any already made that I could be made aware of. If not allowed please delete or move :)
