  1. Hi! Im having this issue where new meshes or textures in mods that I install, for whatever reason, simply arent being read by the game. they just appear as invisible in the game. I can even go into the physical texture/mesh files and replace them, even the vanilla ones, but nothing changes. I tried going into skyrim.ini in my documents and changed the bInvalidateOlderFiles =0 line to bInvalidateOlderFiles =1, as some have suggested. it worked and all the new texture/meshes are loading. but now my player characters body mesh has turned into that red triangle with an exclaimation mark. Of course if I switch it back to bInvalidateOlderFiles =0, my body mesh comes back, and all mod meshes/textures become invisible again. So its like I have to choose between either having working mod meshes, or no player body mesh. Have any of you guys encountered this, or if youve found a solution, that would be great!
  2. yeah, Ive been there. Fought the Sload. the fat creature that looks like jaba. then the queen of alinor gave be another quest to go to the crystal tower. But the story never concluded. I guess the modder still has updates coming I guess, if thats the case......
  3. so what about the guy that got dragged to oblivion by sheogorath? its mentioned that you should save him. Is this Mod even complete? it seems like alot of the content is just kind of left up in the air mid-story.
  4. Hi guys, I started with the Summerset Isles mod recently and its been pretty good. The only problem is that the main questline often finishes quests completely without progressing to the next stage of the questline/giving a new objective. often times I've only managed to continue the Main questline by pure luck of randomly running into the right NPC at the right place, in order to trigger the next stage of the questline. I know some people prefer this type of gameplay as its more challenging, but to me it gets kind of anoying, since I never can tell where the questline actually ends. So my question is: Where does the Main questline end? I've Killed the Sload, and Just completed the Crystal Tower level. is there more to the main questline? If so, how do I proceed? 99% of the NPCs dont even speak to you.
