Saves prior to the latest Starfield Patch are read and display the mods in the save as expected.
New saves either Manual, Quick or Exit all are being designated as Failed to read and are not displayed in the interface.
Diagnostic log is attached.
The game itself runs fine and all mods appear to be working as intended.

So happy the issue is not at my end

Long Story please bare with me.
Modded Starfield from just about day 1 when it was put them in 'My Documents' folder, migrated to Vortex when it was available.
Had the customary issue we all had with Vortex not recognising the location of mods and waited for the fix.
Vortex fixed and stable 'yay all happy'
Tried to install 1 particular mod https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/4340 and found myself at a quandary. Vortex would install but I was having issues with the mod actually working, left feedback on the mods page, modder got back and suggested the issue was due to having mods in both 'My documents' and 'Vortex' so I uninstalled all my mods, deleted the archives, created a brand new 'My Documents Starfield' folder.
Re ran the game and it populated My Docs Quit out and began reinstalling all my mods.
Now I find that textures are not being used by Vortex, I have tried uninstalling again, redownloading, doing a manual install over-writing the Vortex installed version of the files but the textures are not being picked up by the game.
Suggestion / ideas please anyone
I would rather not have to reinstall Starfield and or Vortex if possible
TIA
PS
Have launched the game directly from Steam and what I see ingame is the same as if I have launched from the SFSE Launcher, but SFSE is showing in the 'Settings'
PPS
Have unmanaged Starfield, remanaged, reinstalled all mods no change.

With this change would it be sensible for those of us that have used the mydocuments route for Texture mods to simply remove them and now use Vortex to install them directly rather than use links?
As I see it less chance something goes wrong in the future and cleans up your 'OS Drive'

Use version 503. I don't have confirmation but I believe the author combined the modder for the old ME in the same github page as the MELE. I personally haven't had luck with any of the texture replacers. I've been able to get them all to work with no problem but for some reason after installing 1 the game starts having stuttering issues even if you are in an area that those textures don't load. I don't know if its an issue with the texture or the modder itself is causing the issue. Even if I go back to the original textures I still have the issue. I always have to repair the game with Origin to get it running correct again.
Many Thanks, downloaded and it instantly found my game.

+1 to this, there is an option under Game Utilities to 'Change Game Path' well I did this it opens an explorer window I navigate to the ME(1/2/3) Executable and get 'Game Path NOT changed, Not supported version'
I am using the Origin Version of Legendary and it is fully patched, I did notice that the MEM is only 17 hours old is there something amise with it or does it not support Origin and only Steam?
TIA

OK, so as I said where did all the Dragons go??
I have read quite a few Threads where people are over-run by Dragons but not me nope cannot find one for love nor money. I am starting to think it may be the Mods I'm using which should all really increase not decrease them.
Listed are the Mods in load order:
Deadly Dragons
Dragons in the Wild
Wars in Skyrim
Deadly Dragons Hardcore
Deadly Dragons Craft
Deadly Dragons Creature
Deadly DragonsEF
Deadly DragonsPISE
Wars in Skyrim bloodcoins insane
MoarDragons
Character is Level 60 having completed All the Quest Lines, I have sat in Whiterun and waited for 30 days am now at a loss for what I can do to make the damn things re-appear having not had one in over 5 hours gameplay mostly running about in the open wilderness.

Depends. Simply removing all mods should return it to vanilla, but your saves might be corrupted.
So if you dont want to keep your saves or you have mostly added texture packs and things that don't change any game mechanics or parameters then you could safely just remove the lot.
Thanks htomeht
Had totally forgotten about saved games and possible corruption, just saved me from a world of pain.
-
OK, probably a very simple answer, I use NMM to install all my MODs, if I wanted to go back to Vanilla would it simply be a case of uninstalling through NMM and I'm back at Vanilla or easier to re-install from DVD?
TIA
-
Personally I would like to see once the Main Quest has been completed then no matter which side you chose the people rise up and want the Dragonborn as High King/Queen, lots of quests to get the Jarls on your side.

They should never have said January, now they look stupid, well stupidier than they already did. False claims simply drive customers away, and at the end of the day were keeping them in a job without us they're unemployed.

I previously killed the dragon at Dragontooth Crater quite some time ago (don't know if I was sent there by the Greybeards or if I just happened upon it). I received a quest to kill the dragon there, even though it shows as cleared on my map. I went back to Dragontooth Crater, and although the chest was fully restocked, there was no dragon to kill, so I can't clear the quest. Is there anyway to clear it on my journal or am I stuck with it indefinitely?
I have a few quests in the 'Misc' section that when you click on them the map stays greyed out, would be nice if there was a way to rightclick the quest and delete.

EDIT:
No CK? /slashwrist.
It's a beta 1.4 update so not the full update with CK release which is I read is due on or just after the 26th.
so in other words it's a 'so what did we screw up this time that we can make sure is fixed with the final version' patch
After playing Everquest for 11 Years nothing about the Patching from Bethesda comes even close to the nightmares some of the MMORPG's have had

Hi,
As it appears I have a bugged saved game getting background textures breaking through the actual character I have a question.
Is it possible to strip a saved game file down and then build a fresh saved game with all the accomplishments quests etc etc?
TIA
-
Hi,
Hope someone can help or at least point me in the right direction.
I am getting background breakthrough when looking at my character. If I am stood with a wall behind then the 'wall' flickers through the body and as I move so does the flickering with whatever is behind me.
I made a brand new toon and this is not happening to them so it looks like its somehow the savegame corrupted.
I have disabled all body mods and that made no difference at all.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi,
Firstly a big thanks to all the Modders for their time and effort to improve Skyrim and in some cases fix it.
My question which will no doubt have a few people in hysterics but here goes.
I use NMM religously to install all my Mods, but I see version conflicts when a Mod has Optional parts, for instance the Coolsims hair mods, lots of ways to do this but which is correct, do I install the original then overwrite or upgrade with the Options?
Thanks for any response.
-
Thank you appreciate your help on this matter.

Hello,
Sorry but very new to Oblivion and really don't want to spend hours trawling through forums and fan sites so quick question.
Is there any UI mod that allows the date and time to be permanantly onscreen?
Thank You
