no don't remove the NiAlphaProperty !

you need to change the flags to 4845, and threshold to 40 in the NiAlphaProperty tab

to make it look better, copybranch the hairmesh and then paste it on the 0NiNode, so you got 2 hairmesh

open the second hairmesh NiAlphaProperty tab change the flags to 4846 and threshold to 100 or 200
