thats great if i come up with another request i'll let you know, for now though im happy,ever since first played oblivion i just saw the nazgul in there, i saw them fit perfectly in cyrodill. anxiety is eating me, lol, upload asap please.

im sorry, i apreciate the idea but i think it would lead players to cheat (to get the willpower if they dont have it). i do have a last idea, this may take you a couple more hours so its your call, maybe you could search the internet or extract from the movies or from games such as BFMD, the Nazgul sound, you know the scream and implant it on the game so that they do the sound, its your call though since its not too important and i realize it demands a lot of searching and work.

i dont think that will work, because if the player does not have that willpower, then he will never equip it for fear of not being able to take it off, plus if the ring chase is to be implanted on the other version, this would be quite anoying because you would either never equip it (and lose completely the feature) or equip it but being unable to have peace, ever (sinc u cant take it out (im making the assumption that the player does not have the willpower required which might very well happen), i honestly think it wouldn't work and it would be a pushback for the mod.

Give me a few hours then mate :thumbsup: In LOTR, normal weapons have no effect on the Nazgul, plus anyone with an Iron Claymore would probably die within the first 10 seconds with one of these :happy: I'll change that if you want though. I won't forget about the ring, I'm gonna keep working on that as soon as I upload the first version. thinking strait, im good with the enchanted weapon stuff, it adds difficulty and keeps lore, so do it.

Will do. The AI is working perfectly (except for the ring script *sigh*) and I'm just fine-tuning the one at Bravil before I make some copies and sort out the others' AI's and stuff. I had an idea about making a torch-weapon? Fire damage. Good against the Nazgul, hehe. Lemme know what you think. Torch weapon is great idea, could come in the later version with ring chase.

Name them Nazgul, i think its scarier, im not so sure about the enchanted weapons part, weakness to fire is very well thought as is the black breath spell and being able to see you while invisible, i would say, upload what you have right now (which is very good on its own) and the ring chase feature can come on a later version, but dont forget about it, lol, if you can upload it right now do so, please post link here. thx and keep us posted on the other version.

i though you would like it, its nice to have one group of more than one and yellow road seemed the best bet for its loneliness. Good luck with that ring script, keep us posted on any news.

true, i wasnt thinking of that since i already finished the main QL but it would be really anoying if he interfiered like that, i still have some ideas, either circular road boarding rumare lake (as a whole), or orange road, i edited the post i just wrote, check out the yellow road part, tell me what you think

it would definetly be better if they traveled only during night time, during day time you can make them go to a very remote point at the Jerall Mountains, but make sure they can go down without dying (you know falling with the horse and dying), if that doesnt work (i think it wont, they will prob fall and die, plus have a hard time getting up the mountain) you can make them go to a very remote point south in black marsh, make sure they ran (ride) back towards their locations instead of waking slowly with the horse though or the night will be over before they can get there, you can also make some (the ones with the more suthern routes) go to black marsh and some (the ones with the more north oriented routes go to some remote point in the east or west depending on weather their routes are northeast or northwest (scratch the jerall mountains idea, they will die when riding back with the horse, i have). please try to get the ring scrypt to work (if its imposible dont worry but i would really want that to be in), how is it that it messes the ai ? they lose their agressiveness or something like that ?. In mi opinion the witch king should travel beetween cloud ruler and the imperial city, given how he used to be in agmar which is cold and cloud ruler is as cold as cyrodill gets (just a lore friendly touch) make sure that he doesn't go "into" cloud ruler though and make sure he doesnt kill the fisherman at weye, make him turn back just before getting to weye, i think also that the yellow road ( a very remote road, no cities and such, but at the same time beatifull one) should have 2 nazgul going up and down, both of them toghether, i think that one should be the only "group" of them though, the others should be lonely. what does essential means ?? as in essential horse, etc again thanks a lot for taking this up.

well if it helps i've noticed that every npc that travels do so on roads, they never travel through other paths even if the wilderness is shortcut, plus the legions soldiers as you said, maybe the answer is in their scripts, if you still can't find the answer, dont worry, the ring chase feature is the coolest thing anyway and thats figured out already. btw if you use copies of shadowmore for the nazgul, please change their agressivity to 0 (the horse's) would be really anoying if the horse attacks. Keep us posted ! :)

thanks a lot for taking this up man, keep us posted and please post link whenever you finish it. im no modder but maybe if you made the ring's ability a chamaleon ability for very little (just t have the effect) they could see you, although im not sure. is there a way you could equip them with all the nazgul gear but when the player kills them he doesn't get the gear, instead he gets a reward like a black soul gem, some rare enchanted item or cash (like Pushkatu said) ? also make sure they respawn ! or if that's a problem then make them fall inconscoius instead of dying. thx again !

Hello, i wanted to request a mod that adds Nazguls as NPC's, i i'll describe some of my ideas: - i would want them to be invincible, u can only knock them unconsious and flee if u encounter them, or if u want to make them killable make sure they respawn :P - i would want them to be just 9 (of course) - i would want them to wander around the entire map without restrictions, although of course not being able to get into cities or kill npc's in towns such as pell's gate, what i meant is i want them to travel every road wihtout restrictions, i would also want them to only travel roads, not wilderness (for lore and to actually get to meet them sometimes) - i would want them to be really powerfull for any level. - I would like one of them to be even more powerfull than the other ones and to have the witch king's helmet (so as to have the witch king in too) the following are more subreal ideas, i would want them but i know they would be incredibly hard to acomplish so dont worry to much about them: - i would want a "the one ring" item (that you can buy somewhere) that would give you some nice effects but at the same time (here comes the hard part) slowly atract Nazgul towards you, so lets say if u have the ring on for 4 minutes they will ride with all haste towards u and if you are in a city wait within 60 feet from the entrance /really creepy and cool scene righ there), but (gets even harder, i know im asking for a lot, if it is not possible, dont worry) if u take the ring out they still come after you for the next lets say 2-4minutes (not a lot to not make it anoying if you just want peace and quiet) . U can use the Ringwraith armor mod right here in tesnexus for them, the witch king mod, available here too, and plain black horses as their mount or maybe copies of Shadowmere, that brings me to a question, is it possible for a mounted enemy to even exist, does the ai supports that they get off horse and attack ? i ask since i haven't encountered a single mounted enemy in the whole game so far, altough i did witnessed the guards on roads getting off horse to kill wofs and such. I think this mod would make a lot of people happy, we all saw the succes of the nazgul armor mod (youtube videos everywhere), and basicaly every LOTR related mod gets the best comments and endorsements, this could be colossal, i mean how many of you dislike the idea of such a mod ? i think a lot of people would like this mod, and i personally would be incredibly gratefull with however takes this project as it is my dream for oblivion. Just for the record i would hate it if they were on dragons, i would ruin it completetly for me. Let me say that if you (if you are a modder) think you can do some stuff listed here but not other then i'll be happy anyway, of course i would want all of the features if possible but if you can pull most of them its ok, lets say if you think u can make the nazgul and make them wonder but cant do the ring chase feature, dont worry i and a lot of people will apreciate it (and use it) anyway. I think it's better if they respawn so you can take some nice loot from them, like a black soul gem or some cash, but make them realy hard to kill and I also think that it would be better if they would spawn only when the player reaches level 20, but that's just me. Well, that is obvious :sweat: This is posible, considering there are scripts even from vanilla Oblivion that allow this and mods like Crowded roads are also a good example, so this should be fairly easy for a decent modder. I still think they should only spawn only after player reaches level 20, but even so they should be like almost unbeatable even at that level. Makes sense, one should be their leader and the most powerfull and as for the helmet we are lucky to have such a mod already. The one ring has already been made, but I have never used it myself so I don't know how good it is: Link: The One Ring from LotR As for the second part of your sentence, I'm not sure if that's posible, it might be, considering Lucien from the Dark Brotherhood can find you no matter where you are when you kill for the first time, so mayby.... I don't know, but it would be great. :smile: As for giving them horses that is also easy, I guess as it's been done already in vanilla game or with mod's help. I realy think this would be posible and it wouldn't take a lot of time to make, only 9 mounted NPCs, dressed properly and with the right scripts and I think it would become a very apreciated mod, especialy by those who are familiar with the Lord of the Rings trilogy. im glad you like the idea, ik they werent invincible but it wouldn't be so special if they were easy targets, they need to be powerfull so that they are special, kinda boss fights roaming around and hunting you, thats fun. thx for posting
