No SLI. I've tried a whole bunch of reshades. It's a fixed bug for my rig (i5 6600 + GTX 970). It' also far more noticeable when I open the config menu (Shift + F2) -

Yeah the problem is dxgi.dll. But it seems I'm the only one who experiences it. I also have some tearing problems, but I don't know how to solve it. Forcing adaptive Vsync from Nvidia control panel doesn't seem to do anything, so I tried with Nvidia inspector and while the framerate is in fact capped at 60 I still get tearing. EDIT: Ok should've solved the tearing problem. Now my Nvidia "devices" correctly recognize the game. It seems that the latest driver update was kinda faulty. Still, dxgi.ini f*#@s up my game. -
Ok, it took me a lot to make Perfect Wolf Set + Mastercrafted Chest, and it bugs me a lot that most of the loot I find in Toussaint has better values than my armor, despite being common items and not unique ones. This also applies to swords. Seriously, I had to ditch "Iris" just because I keep finding better ducal guard swords (or whatever). I have found the Sword of the Unseen Cave set, unique relic item, it's really good, but a couple of hours ago I found ANOTHER guard sword that does more damage than than. Seriously. It's painful. Is there a current mod that fixes this? That makes unique items better than non-unique ones?

Seems like I had imported the wrong file from TW2, or it was bugged somehow (tho I chose the most recent one), but Letho is considered dead in my game even tho I spared him at the end of TW2. Is there any way, perhaps with some hex editor, to make him appear again? I'm 60 hours into the game and I really don't want to start over, and also roleplay-wise I cannot stand that Geralt supposedly killed Letho lol. EDIT: Noticed just now how the grammar in the title sucks. Sorry, I'm Italian... No way to change it yeah?

About point 3, I've been starting new games often after these crashes appeared. No, I'm not always in combat. Btw I have noticed an incompatibility between Dual Wield Parryng v3 and Action Combat, both of which affect parrying. So I'll try in that way. I'll also try searching the scripts, thanks" -

So this is what I got after the last crash. I played for a good 25 minutes. It crashed while I was swimming/escaping from some bears, seconds after I closed the level up menu. So I have tried the Papyrus log debug today and I got a crash at 12:40 If someone could help me figure out where is the "error" that caused the crash. I have also uninstalled "Axe of Hakon" which, based on the first lines, it's kinda messed up. -

I'm more and more convinced that these CTDs come alongside graphical glithces. Last time I played it was running fine, but then an odd water bug appeared (underwater I could see in the distance but everything was dark and the blur effect was missing) and a minute after that it crashed (I remained in the same zone). -
Does this happen with every mod?

I opened a topic believing that the problem of these CTDs was the fps limiter. I was wrong. Tried to play without ENB to see if it was the VRAM. I still got them. I'm pretty sure the problem are the mods themselves. I mention this because Tes5edit is giving me some errors regarding strings, tho I barely understand something in that program so I'm not sure. Tried ENBboos memory patch, It doesn't work and it f*** up my ENB. I also believe that these CTDs are related to graphical glitches (Z-fighting, Map icons that look like flickering rainbow blobs). I also get these odd glitches: http://i64.tinypic.com/wumph0.jpg http://i68.tinypic.com/1zzmc8m.jpg Those seem to be related to the crashes, I'm not sure tho. Updated Load Order Way more stable now, 0 warnings or errors in LOOT, but the game still crashes no matter what I do. Any ideas? -

Guys I'm really struggling now. A couple of days ago it seemed to run fine, since I switched from 35 fps cap to 1/2 refresh rate (vsync) and I played 40 minutes without crashing... Then add a couple of mods, patch everything... Crashes happen again. The same old ones, so I really don't know what's causing it. I've tried ENBoost memory patch, but it doesn't resolve the problem (or at least it doesn't since I had to tweak it to make the actual ENB... work), I'm using LOOT, removed all ITM errors with TES5edit, tweaked and recreated my inis in the best way possible... Noithing. I've reached the point where, when exploring exteriors (instanced cities seem safe tho), my game crashes almost immediately. I've noticed that it mostly crashes when I sprint, when I change the camera and when I open menus. If you have any idea on how to fix this, or on how to install a memory patch of some sort correctly, I'd be very grateful, because I'm running a very beefy machine with 30fps cap and I really can't stand the unplayability. If also someone could edit the title, since I really doubt that the problem is the 30fps. Thanks. -

What exactly is LOOT? Well, I mean, what are its advantages compared to normal load order management? By the way the game still crashes very very rarely at 30fps, but sometimes it seems to be related to z-fighting. I've noticed that whenever I run one of the ReProccer patchers my .ini tweaks to soften z-fighting are... "removed" (better say "modified") and I have to tweak everything again. If I don't, the game suffers of these graphical glitches and it crashes after some minutes. Last time I played I was trolling around with "setrace dragonrace", it crashed there too (after several minutes of gameplay without issues) but that may be due to the fact that while playing with the dragon the camera is all f*** up and it glitches into the terrain. So far I think that these CTDs are caused by some kind of glitches, I hope I will be able to avoid these issues in my ultimate playthrough. -

So the game still crashes on 30fps, not very often but it does. So I forced off the Vsync while mantaining the fps cap and it seems it has stopped crashing (I may try with 35 now since I still experience some stuttering). Have also found a fix for the loading screen time (specifically for 30fps), but it seems to halve the fps during loading screens... It runs at something like 15 fps... And it's a bit odd. Of coure I won't have any problem if now the game will run at 35fps without crashing. -
Since I'm playing a pretty graphics-heavy Skyrim (despite my 970), I decided to cap the framerate at 30 so that i could play it smoothly, without going up and down between 40 and 60. I'm using a 60Hz monitor. So I used Nvidia Inspector to cap the fps. But I noticed that, ingame, the loading screens were estremely long and the game, somehow... stuttered. It was never hard fixed 30fps, sometimes it went down to 27 or 28 and that was pretty annoying. It also doesn't make much sense, since without cap it never went under 40fps. So, with Nvidia Inspector, I set the cap to 35. Now the game ran pretty smoothly and it was fine. In the beginning, at least. By playing with this framerate, the game really really rarely crashed. I'm still trying to configure my mods and tweak everything to have the best Skyrim experience when I'll start my ultimate playthrough, but since it happened so sparsely (they were random no-error crashes) I didn't bother. In the end, I played like 4 or 5 times with 35 fps. In this period I just played the game to test the mods etc... BUTlast time I've installed some mods (and they were - are - working just fine, despite the language that is a little off, since I'm playing the ita version) the crashes became more more and more frequent. At first I thought I did something wrong with the mods installation, but I still haven't found the problem.The odd thing is that, by capping the game at 30 again, it doesn't crash. But it's annoying because of those problems. So I really want to understand why I suffer from these random no error-crashes.I have the feeling that V-sync or something like that has to do with this, but I don't really understand why the crashed became so frequent. Here is my load order I really hope that someone can help me with this.

RW2 flickering and Uninteractable NPCs

UP, any idea? EDIT: ok, managed to resolve both problems by reinstalling completely RW2 and uninstalling ASIS. Now I'm just "scared" that, by installing ASIS again, I will stumble upon the same bug. -
I had the same problem usign Flora overhaul along with AOF Tree Lods. For some reason they weren't compatible. I just uninstalled AOF and replaced it with a LOD optional file found in SFO mod page (don't remember which one).
