Figured i'd post another update. Still nothing has worked. The SKSE.ini file is the only thing that has seemed to work but it breaks a couple of my SKSE mods, i'm going to look into that and see if maybe i can get them working with it. The only other thing that has seemed to work is with the unofficial patches and going to the temple in whiterun and using the remove effects things from there. I did not see it happen after but no idea if it's cured because there is no guarantee to spawn it. I really have no ideas and evidently you gandlftw are the only person even willing to attempt to help me so at this point my only solution is to just uninstall and reinstall the entire game and try to get my mods back in anyway that i can probably just to have it happen again. Gotta say I'm really annoyed at the absolute lack of help for something that should be simple.

the [General] ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 fix SEEMS to have worked *knock on wood* i did 25 fast travels with no bug, however, this seems to have broken the Customizable Camera mod, it's settings don't stick all the time and maybe others and i just haven't noticed it yet. But i'm assuming that this is not an actual cure and just a bandaid to stop it from happening since whatever is causing it is still there it's just being stopped. I really would like to know what's actually causing it if there is any other way since the script cleaners are not finding anything. just went ahead and did that. I'm still amazed that no one seems to know what this effect is, it HAS to be a vanilla effect, it still happens with 100% of my mods disabled. anyway, just getting really upset over this since basically my game is dead now. I installed the 4 unofficial patches and ran LOOT and aside from evidently breaking the customizable camera mod (keeps changing it on it's own) they didn't stop it. while naked i fast traveled 25 times and it didn't happen. Then i started putting clothing on and on my first 10 nothing happened, then it happened so i loaded that last save and took everything off and did things one at a time, but there was no one item that caused it. For a while i thought i figured out what item it was but then fast traveling without that item still caused it and that item was the only one with it's perticular enchantments. Plus AFAIK enchantments never cause effects like this. Quite literally the only things i have left to do are start a fresh save with nothing by skyrim.esm, no update, no dlc nothing, and see if i can trigger it or just completely reinstall the whole game. Only things i can think of anymore and since removing all my mods didn't fix it i don't think either of these would either, and again savetool isn't finding anything which leads me to believe it's not a script but just some effect that is being applied. The custom race is still an option but i've gotten it to show up on other races and i've played 3 saves with this race and never had this happen. The only thing i changed in these last 2 games was the enchantments on my items but in my testing today i found nothing conclusive to show that X item did it since it happened with different items with different enchantments.

I have not run the unofficial patches but i am downloading them now. I have tried the script cleaner and 3 different things happened. First try: i ran dispel all spells, saved, ran it through and reloaded and the effect didn't show up for 4 fast travels. Second try: loaded file with the effect active on save, crashed when list active pressed savetool Third try: loaded file with the effect active on save, said it found no problems. in all 3 it found no problems at all and listing active ones nothing stands out, and it never fixed it before anyway. i have checked all my active effects and i have removed all of my active effects and items manually and it still happens, it does not stop it and does not stop it from happening on fast travel. And again even removing every single mod except Skyrim, Dawngard, Hearthfire, Dragonborn, and update it still happens and never happened before in over 200 hours. *EDIT* Just wanted to mention i tested all of that on an already infected save and not my new one which for the time being has not been affected. I've downloaded the unofficial patch for the core game, dawnguard and dragonborn and i'm going to instal them and load up my new save and keep fast traveling to see if it happens.

ah alright, well aware of Boss. I'll run it through that but i don't expect it's a load order issue as my load order was actually worse in my previous saves with more mods and i didn't have the issue in dozens of hours. And even when removing every single mod the effect is still there. But still good idea to run it through with my crappy load order. thanks.

Just the order i installed them in and never fixed it. Been that way forever though without any issues. Not sure what Loot is so i guess not.

This is a repost but you did not reply to my previous one. i reposted it to explain the situation in better detail including what i have done to try and fix it. I have seen that topic and even posted in there but was ignored. I looked through the list but all the images after page 1 are broken and no way to see them so i have no way to match it since it does not match anything on page 1. hence why i'm making the topic because i'm hoping that someone knows what this effect is.

As soon as the game reloads this effect starts and will never stop no matter what, at the same time when it's happening i can't absorb dragon souls either. It's not a guarantee that it'll happen at every fast travel but now in 3 saves it's happened. I have spent almost 10 hours now trying to fix it and here is what i have tried and every single one has not fixed it. -Removing all items -loading previous save without it and removing all items and fast travel -dispelallspells before fast travel, sometimes this stops it, once the effect happens though even using it before fast travel does not fix. -dispellallspells and then cleaned through script cleaner, worked once but it came back later, tried running it through the cleaner again and it crashed the claner. -Manually removed every single active effect and item from the character to be completely empty, still happened. -removed EVERY SINGLE MOD leaving just Skyrim, Dawnguard, Hearthfire, Dragonborn and Update. Game would not load without all 4, but even with all mods removed it still happened. At this point i am assuming that it is some rogue script or affect but this happens just from fast traveling and i'm not doing anything, even with naked with nothing on it'll still happen. Removing every mod does not remove it which tells me that this effect is a vanilla effect and though a mod may be causing it to start even removing all of my mods won't fix it. I'm desperate for any possible help and ideas. Right now the game is unplayable thanks to this, i had installed no new mods before this happened and in 230 hours played i never had this happen until recently. bumping this up, i found this topic http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/872861-tutorial-removing-unwanted-magic-effects-from-the-player/ and posted in it but still hoping someone may have some ideas here. If anyone knows what this effect is or how to figure it out so i can use the console and stop it please let me know. i'll take any possible ideas.

First of all here is the video of what it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DE0f9nL1e8 This happens as soon as i fast travel. once it does i can't absorb any dragon souls in addition to this happening constantly no matter what i do. If i load up an earlier save everything works fine, as soon as i fast travel the problem starts. I've done the following to try and fix it: --------------------- player.dispelallspells - did this first, fast traveled and it seemed to be working fine but then after a second fast travel came back. I removed every single item from my inventory including quest ones. First time i did this just by dropping everything it seemed to stop but second time removing everything it didn't stop. I removed every single spell and active effect from the charcacter and no change. I changed my race after doing all of the above and before doing all of the above, never any change. Current character race is ningheim and changed to nord. ------------------------ That's everything i've tried. pretty desperate for help here. If my save is screwed then oh well i'll start over but right now i just want to know what is causing this and how to stop it from happening in this save or at least stop it from happening in the future.

Okay, so this mod is gone now but it added rings that would add +10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500% to alchemy, enchanting, and smithing. Problem is, if you left the rings on and quit the game, they disappeared and the stat bonus was permanently added to your character. and since the items were gone there was no way to do it. normally I'd remember to take them off but this time i forgot, i tried unchecking the mod but no luck, boost is still there so now i have 850 enchanting and no possible way that i can tell to remove it. Desperate for help here, is there anyway that i can wipe all stat boosts or am i screwed and have to just go back to a previous save.

I would love to have it too. Though it is lore breaking it's a great outfit and would be great for pictures and roleplaying.

I've noticed that compared to the nord hero arrows, the dragonborn arrows have insane drop, i've already done the skyrim ini mod and i've made the stats of the nordic and stalhrim arrows the same, but in game, there is no change. Really hoping someone can give me a tip here because i'd like to use these new arrows, but right now they kinda suck when they drop to the ground after 20 feet. *EDIT* IGNORE. EVIDENTLY I FORGOT I HAD THE FASTER ARROWS MOD SO I JUST HAD TO UPDATE IT MYSELF FOR DRAGONBORN.
