  1. if u have many plugins active it is maybe possible, i heard somethings about that but encountered that problem not myself. depends on the system specs u can gain weird things ingame adn the max numbers of loaded plugins is variable around 130-150..some systems gain this earlier.

how many plugins u have installed? and it is better if u unload some non essential needed plugins?

  2. fpsclamp is a option in fonv if u have this on and u have frame drops ingame then the game will slower to.

the multithreaded option is the same what tionblack said (bUseThreadedBlood=1 and so on) but u can easy change this with the ini configurator tool i linked before without editing the ini files direct.

this threaded options allowed fonv to use multiple cpu cores for those settings. this can remove stutter this tool haz also other switches u can try to reduce stutter.

and yes i think u can use this alongside with the stutter plugin if u mind the ini settings for this.

  3. lol

    that is not fine :(

sounds like there are conflicts between mods, u mentioned UHNV haz issues... i think we need a closer look into that mod...

at first deinstall this complete and see how the game is working then.

if it works now and u want this mod back then use only the main plugin now in the first time.

btw i just found out that u are not the only one with this crashing problem, u can ask in the mod thread maybe this guys or the author self can help u better with this mod to fix. (i don´t use UHNV)

  4. hm that is ugly..

do u sure that u not edit a original plugin? look at the file date.

sounds like u missing some other stuff now or u have edit it wrong in this reason.

im not familiar with geck so far but is this mod using the original textures/weapon and u simple edit this it can affect a vanilla plugin. in this case it is possible that u haz destroy the whole game. (not sure ;) )

  5. u can merged some plugins file to a single one to decrease the loadorder.

u can do it with fnvedit and as example with all the compatibly patches and so on.

but is need a advanced experience in using fnvedit and u cant "merged" all plugins in a single file.

if u succesfull merged some plugins then u can add more mods ;)

i do it without having issues and my game runs smoother to!

  6. for simple ini tweaks u can use this http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/40442 Read the description on options in the tool before u make changes! (haz declaration what can improve the performance/remove stutter and what can cause crash!)

also turn off the AV scanner and system FW can remove stutter. i think ur stutter is normal with ur fx card (low ram) u can try lowres textures to free the fx ram, lower the LOD settings (is easy with the configurator tool, also haz multithreaded settings)

turn off V-sync and FPSCLAMP (if it on)

  7. not sure about ur mod loadout, i didn't use most of them.

if this ini edit didn't help then reverse the edit - don´t use the merged patch yet (depends on what u change, if u testing only both changes then try one only, because u don't know what makes an error)

u can check the loadorder with the autosorter tool called boss. (make a backup from ur loadorder before)

    http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/35999

u can also try a new game and test it (some mods can cause a broken/unstable game on older saves)

another workout is to clean up the fonv installation and play vanilla version, if it not crashing then u can add mod step bye step and test it for stable. if one mod cause the problem then u have a point to fix that.

btw there is a configuration tool, whit this setup tool u can change easy the multithreaded settings.

http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/40442 note the description in this tool before u change settings.

    edit;

oh before i forget do u have archivinvalidation on?

    edit;

what textures pack do u use? if it nmc medium or large than it can be possible that ur fx ram goes full u can see the gpu ram usage with the tool GPUZ. load this tool and play a while if it crash than show in the gpu ram usage, if it full then u should use the small nmc pack.

  8. because ffdshow or similar codec decoder u can look into DXDIAG <-typ in the box above "start" and save the log. the codec filter shows under "DirectShow Filters" in the log file.

so far as i know about similar codec decoder that cause crash is the Sony Cineplayer Decoder Pack (roxio).

btw i use VLC Player, is a way better as WMC ;)

  9. u said random crash on loading screen?

try the multicore fix in this link (edit all 3 ini files) section "fixes for crashing"

    http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Fallout_NV_Troubleshooting_guide

and add fonv to the exception list from ur AV and codec decoder like ffdshow if u using those decoder (can crash to, not only audio issue)

i haz this random crashing fixed with this edits.

a simple merged patch from FNVedit can help to. (recommended this merged leveled item list and so on from difference mods using the same things)

  10. sry

no solution out here, i haz edit the ini files. i also haz take a look into g.e.c.k. and playing aaround in there to fix those clippings. but nothings help

so far as i know comes those flicker from the engine. this engine is switching LOD textures or loading/display both. if u stand still and the view is not moving u will see no clipping around, but if u move ur view or toon the flicker will come back.

one user told me "reduce the lod view will remove the flicker" ...but that looks ugly.

  11. hi

    first!

u should load all DLC and original packs after falloutnv.esm and before all mods.

    second!

test the game in vanilla state / clean fresh install without mod installed. if it keep crashing try the "fixing for crashes" in this link http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Fallout_NV_Troubleshooting_guide

and if a codec decoder installed on the system (like ffdshow and similar)) then add fallout to its list of exception or deinstall the codec decoder.

AV scanner can cause crash to, turn them complete off or add fallout to its exception list.

FNVedit can help to find conflicts and can help u create a merged patch, this patch can reduce conflicts.

http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/34703/ note; don´t edit/save plugins or original files, just override to a new file to edit entries (if u edit manually)

u can simple create a merged patch bye clicking right in the left window and choose "create a merged patch" choose a file name and save (simple exit fnvedit) enable this new patch in the loadorder.

    third!

if the game run smooth on a clean fresh vanilla installation then u can add mods step bye step and test this ingame.

  12. yes ur hardware is still OK.

i haz playing fonv on an single core with no problems earlier.

maybe will turn off the AV and firewall(depends on what FW u use) for fonv increase the fps/reduce stutter also turn off windows bitdefender if it aktive.

edit if fonv only run on one core u can try this multicore fix in this link (maybe it will help to if it run already with 2 cores)

    section Fixes for crashing

http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Fallout_NV_Troubleshooting_guide note: edit all 3 ini! - make a backup before

btw here is a fonv configurator tool where u can simple edit some threaded switches and the fx but u need to read the discription on the options..some switches can cause crashes.

    http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/40442/

dont switch a bunch of option in there without test this ingame.
